This is going to be my second review now on yelp. I wanna start by saying these guys are no BS service they quote you on what you need and will even pre-purchase parts of your serious about getting a service from them so be mindful of that. They also schedule on your time so it's more convinient and when I got my car back it was clean. Like the way I gave it to them and no issues so far driving all day today. I was referred by my son to get my battery replaced & reprogrammed my BMW. He bought his battery at Autozone & had it installed no issues. I called in the morning & asked for same service & spoke to Hazel. She said she would call back later in afternoon to give me a time to come for service. She never called back! I called following morning & Hazel said they couldn't help me as it was a liability if I brought in a battery I purchased. She was unaware my son did exactly that! I felt like I was lied to. There is no better repair shop in the valley then Temecula valley Auto repair. It is next to impossible to find an honest mechanic and yet Matt is as honest as they come. Every time I come to his shop he goes above and beyond and gives me the best deal and explains everything. Once I came in for a simple oil change and he went through every inch of my vehicle found two burnt out bulbs and replaced them for free. He pointed out a broken engine mount that another shop had just repaired. So often he will catch some shoddy workmanship that another shop just rushed through and did a poor job. Also the price they charged me was higher than what I was told on the phone and when I asked about it the owner said he won't service my car again. I was driving to Murrieta from NorCal when my brakes warning lights came on. I just had the brakes changed by my local mechanic. I called Matt when I got into town and he agreed to see me on the spot. He checked the brakes and tried out the braking system and saw no danger of driving the car back to NorCal. I couldn't be happier, recently my 07 VW GTI started sounding like a diesel only problem it's not a diesel. I ended up taking my car to TVI as the owner Matt has worked on my Volkswagens before and knows what he's doing where most shops I've been in the past have no clue when it comes to European cars. Well my GTI ended up needing a new cam chain tensioner which apparently Is pretty common on the FSI engines and potentially catastrophic if it fails. But now my car sounds as good as the day I bought it and all at a great price. Thanks again! read more

Took the chance to take my car here and I'm so glad that I did! Matt was very helpful and truthful with the issues I have with my car. As a woman it's very hard to find a mechanic that will not mislead you into fixing the actual issues your having. My car had been slowly bleeding to death for some time now and everywhere I took it, the guys couldn't seem to track down just where it was coming from.
