Buyer beware!!! The owner is nice until you try to ask for an exchange or another option if you are unhappy with the product. I am currently battling breast cancer and am undergoing chemotherapy, so all my hair has fallen out. The wig I bought was too light for my complexion and I asked Heather, the owner, if I could try a darker one. She gave me the run around telling me just wear it and I'll get used to it. I've been driving by this store for years, meaning to go in but just never did. Last week, I decided I really needed something (wig? topper? pony tail?) to give me more confidence, since I've been losing my natural hair for a couple of years now, and it looks thin, thin, thin. Going to a wedding next week where I know the air will be damp from the ocean late afternoon, I decided this was the right time. She was coloring hair in the backroom. Surprise, surprise, she doesn't just sell wigs, and I now have an opportunity for a new hair colorist. I took my friend to a consultation at a salon in Newport Beach to discuss options for thinning hair. The $1800 cost was not what I was prepared to watch my friend pay, so I suggested we shop around. We walked into Temecula Wigs & More without an appointment. Heather was beyond accommodating! We asked for a human hair top piece, because looking natural is very important, but she suggested we try synthetic just because. My friend has never worn a top piece before so spending a lot the first time would have been difficult. Surprisingly, the synthetic piece looked extremely natural! Heather had her practice taking it off and putting it on and showed her how to wash and care for it. She gave her great tips on styling it too. She gave the piece a custom trim while we waited and styled it very nicely on my friend's head. She literally looked like she just stepped out of a salon. Heather is amazing! She is very knowledgable and very helpful. I have had hair extensions for over 10 years but went through a difficult life situation that caused my hair to break off and fall out. I was having trouble covering my extensions with my natural hair so she made a topper for me that I can clip in or bond in if I decide to go that route. I love it! The owner is so great! She helped my mom find the perfect topper. My mom has thinning hair and she is embarrassed about her scalp showing. She doesn't like the weight or heat of a wig so we were able to try on different sized toppers to find a good fit. Plus one wig just for the fun of it! She helped my mom find the perfect color as well. On the second visit she was very thorough in explaining and helping my mom figure out how to remove and secure the topper. Let me start off by saying my experience with "Temecula wigs and more" was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and the reason it being AMAZING is the owner behind it all, Heather. I noticed rapid hair loss due to some medical reasons and read all the wonderful reviews and booked an appointment. Heather has such knowledge about anything and everything about wigs. She went over everything I should know about wearing one. We tried on several wigs ( which she made fun) . I wear a certain style that I wanted to stay with and she went and found several ones that matched with what I told her. Then she found the perfect one. Omgosh I loved it! The bangs were really long but she took me back to her salon chair and cut the bangs perfectly. She showed me how to put it on and answered any more questions I left there feeling so happy & completely satisfied :) . I did have a few more questions so I left her a message and she promptly answered me back. I had another question today and called her and she took the time to answer me and I hung up feeling much much better and having more confidence on the care for my new wig. Didn't have the best experience, didn't have the worst. I feel awful leaving this review as nothing major happened but I feel this review will be very informative and helpful to people looking for an honest opinion and experience. I arrived at 10:30 am, and the doors were locked. There was a hand written sign on the door that read "please come back at 11:00." I was disappointed but brushed it off and decided to come back at a different time. I came back at 1:00pm and the door was still locked, and the hand written sign had been taken down. A brief moment later a kind woman answered the door and explained that she was with a client, and asked me if I could come back at a different time. I explained to her that this was already my second time coming back but, sure,. midway of leaving she tells me to come inside and look around while she finishes up her client. As I am inside I start browsing around, and another customer comes up to the locked door. The employee then had to stop working on her client.. answer the door.. re explain herself.. and then run back to her client. If you are planning to stop by this location, I recommend calling ahead to verify that they are open. (Who has time to waste?) And also scheduling an appointment. (It hard to know what your buying with out anyone able to assist you) In my opinion, based on the hair that was displayed, the hair seemed over priced for sub par quality. There wasn't many long hair options (18-26inches) but there are many short options. If there were any deals, promotions or better quality hair hidden somewhere else, I wouldn't know because the only sales associate was assisting another client with a haircut. read more

Heather is amazing! I have over the course of the last year; watched my hair deteriorate. I have always had thin hair, however it's become a noticeable issue. This year, seemed the worst. Knowing that my mother is almost completely bald on top -I wanted to just go in and ask a bunch of questions. I had made no appointment. Ladies listen up...this is your next need to try spot for getting the hair of your dreams! After having my hair chemically destroyed, as in burnt off and trying to hide that fact with beaded extensions and still not loving my color or my extensions I found Heather. She completely and kindly listened to everything that had happened to my hair and what I was hoping to achieve both in the short and long term on multiple occasions over a few weeks. Based on all the information I gave her she recommended a different option for taking my very short disjointed hair long in a way that was safest for me to keep growing it out nice and healthy. My wife had Breast Cancer 5 yrs ago and due to subsequent pills she is taking her hair had thinned on top. Since the Cancer she has become quite the hat collector. Now she has a choice. Great wig shop!! Only downside, they close so early and not open on sundays or saturdays so that means coming fm San Diego where I live, I'd have to leave before rush hr traffic at about 1:30-2:00 if I plan to get there by 4:00 pm closing, on weekdays. it's a bummer not really time to schedule a shop visit unless I'm fortunate to have a day off, but maybe those were just Covid . The owner is very accommodating and will ship items to you however , which is nice, cuz all the products are of good quality and hard to find other merchants that carry those brands and lines. Same with treatments they'll call you to work with your schedule so it's really more of a specific specialty boutique for a regular client base than a "one stop shop" so much more personalized.
