The salon has a great vibe -- nice and professional but also friendly and relaxed. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Brittany was awesome. I didn't have a picture of what I had in mind, but she asked all the right questions to help me articulate what I wanted and she did a fantastic job! boy did I get lucky! I randomly called to get scheduled for a haircut with anyone with availability and got matched up with Brittany. She was so amazing! You know when you go to get your haircut and you show them the Pinterest photo and they're like "yup, got you girl" then you walk away with a bowl cut? Definitely did not happen this time! I showed her one photo and she didn't even have to ask follow up questions or ask me to remind her again. It was also a heck of a day so it was really nice not to have to be "responsible" for anything and her head massage hit the spot. I also have a super finicky conch piercing that refuses to heal that I had to ask her to avoid and most hairstylists, despite the repeated ask, are never aware enough to not offend, but Brittany was seriously so self aware and even though that seems small, it meant a lot in my book. Made a semi-last minute appointment for my daughter to get her a haircut and they were able to book me for the next day. Camilla was wonderful with my girl and gave her so much helpful information on curly hair care. We weren't even expecting a "curly hair" cut (which I've done with other curly specific stylists and spent $$$) because my daughter is 11 and doesn't need all that- but Camilla took extra time and care to explain things to her and styled her hair with her natural curl instead of pushing for a blowout like a lot of other stylists do. I could not have chosen a better salon. One of the most clean,  beautiful salons I've ever been to. As soon as I came in I was warmly greeted and offered something to drink. They have a small retail area in the front with really nice merchandise and products. Very boutique feel to it and had very affordable prices on the clothing, earrings, purses, and hair products. I made an appointment with Char and left absolutely stunned at how healthy my hair came out. I don't trust many people to cut my hair, I told her I wanted a trim and a layered cut that blended well when it wasn't curled and I felt like she almost read my mind on the style I was looking for. She took her time and made sure I was happy with my cut, she asked me how I normally styled my hair, products I used, if I use any heat products reguarly. Char communicated every step of the way and explained each process, from the wash(who doesn't love getting their hair washed? Am I right?), the products she was using and why. Char did not use a ton of styling products to make it look good in the salon. THAT, my friends, is the sign of a phenomenal hair artist! NO upselling, NO product pushing, just a magnificent cut and style. I did end up leaving with one of the products she used because it left my hair feeling and smelling amazing. The staff here is so genuine, talented and kind. I was sitting in the chair when one of the "1 star review" ladies walked in (I won't name names... Michelle)... and this woman was disgustingly rude to these women. She even called the young lady a "See You Next Tuesday!" They did not deserve that, but you can't please everyone.
