Ms Stephanie gives wonderful updates at the end of the day and lets me know if there is anything I should be concerned of (changes in feeding habits or diaper issues). I went in one day to pick her up early and was pleasantly surprised to find her hugging Ms Luz on the playground singing and talking happily with her. Ms Luz also redoes her hair (much better than I do) basically every day. My older one warmed up a lot faster and he has matured a lot since being there. He shares better at home with his sister and he is using the potty now!! Ms Kathleen, Ms Sonia and Ms Amber at the front are warm, caring people who take the time to help out with any administrative questions or kid related ones. They know their students and parents and don't make me feel like "just another mom" dropping off and picking up. I was nervous about starting my kids at daycare since we always had family caring for them before, but I truly feel like this is a family oriented center.

Everyone is so loving, respectful, and caring of the parents and children that it truly has a family feel to it. It makes us feel so at ease knowing that our son spends so much of his time there. We know that he is surrounded by other adults that love him. Unlike other daycares we visited in the area, the staff at KAP has been around a long long time; an indication of a happy place to be. This is especially important for parents and their kids as a strong bond is required with caregivers. He has also flourished in language, motor skills, and manners/respect. He is one smart little boy and communicates so well! We know this is largely in part to the attentiveness of the teachers and the activities they all do with the kids. Not once have I ever walked in and seen the kids unattended or any teachers on their phones. Not one single time. I am so happy and thankful to have found this spot and actually have 3 friends who enrolled their kids in the school as well, and also love it. Infant room: we loved the infant room and the teachers that were there at the time. They were extremely caring and helpful. We received a daily report card of all of the things she did. 1-2 our daughter loved the teachers in the year and 2 year room. She thrived and even learned a little Spanish. The teachers worked with us to potty train her. Ms Brenda was very loving and caring. 3-4 they really started teaching them and preparing them for VPK. The had some nice additional things we were able to add on. Our daughter loved the music class and the cooking class. The teacher, Ms Jita (bad spelling of her name)who taught both was so amazing. During our tenure the Director changed. Both Ms Jade and Ms Colleen (the new director) were very good and along with the assist Director (Ms Julie) they made our experience there a good one. We went to visit last year and to our happiness and surprise almost everyone that was there when our daughter was, still worked there. That is rare for this business. The only reason we left was my job changed and I moved our daughter closer to home and also wanted her to make some new friends she'd be going to kindergarten with.

The enrollment process was like none we had ever experienced before. They offered us an observation where our son went to the classroom for the teacher to get an understanding of his current level of functioning then we also had an opportunity to speak with a current parent of another student who was very helpful. The teacher is amazing and we saw the difference in our son at home. He came home showing us that he learned how to peel an orange himself and he became more independent overall. The only reason we decided to leave is thw distance. We live in Dania Beach and with the traffic and school zones in the morning, too much time was being taken for traveling. Otherwise, we would happily keep our son enrolled. We love Ms. Salma and her entire staff who are highly professional.
