It's a beautiful space with two dance studios available. The floor is perfect for dancing. Their larger studio has a sky light that makes it brighter. I love the art on the walls as well. They have a myriad of dance classes available for kids, including hip hop, Afro beats, jazz, ballet, west African, and modern. There's also a summer camp program from June to August. They also offer painting and drawing classes, including classes and events for adults. You can drop into their weekly classes or purchase pack class passes. You can check out the calendar on their website to see what's coming up. You can also register online. This is one of the few Black and female owned studios I know of in Tulsa. The owner, Jacelyne Jackson moved here from Florida. She has extensive training in dance from the Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre Summer intensive program, and was a former dancer of Dallas Black Dance Theatre II, and one of the top 25 finalists on "So You Think You Can Dance" Season 7. There are three different studios inside, all with quality flooring needed for dancing. The shelves next to the front desk are extremely helpful to put your belongings there instead of having to carry them inside the studio with you. With 9 dance instructors on their faculty, they offer a wide range of classes for every level and all ages (3years to adults): ballet, creative movement, tap, lyrical, contemporary, character/ethnic dance, hip-hop, yoga, praise, aerial, and Broadway Theater. I attended a special Afro-Latin workshop provided by a guest instructor as well as a Latin Dance social. It was amazing and super fun. The space was perfect for both. There were even special performances. I'm excited to learn they have classes for adults and they also rent the space when available. They have detailed class descriptions on their website and they also offer summer camps and intensives.
