Their "As Seen on TV Choreo" Classes look particularly fun. They have class offerings every day of the week! I first attended their weekly Latin dance social on Friday and it was a lot of fun. There's plenty of parking available. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by the front desk staff. There are a couple of restrooms and what looks like a dressing room to the left but of course the focal point is the studio itself. It is super spacious and the high ceiling makes it feel even more so. The floor is so nice and smooth (dancers will appreciate this lol), there are mirrors all across the north wall and they have acoustic panels installed as well. There's also a nice lounge area towards the back. Their online booking system is super easy to use. They always have an updated class schedule and they include details on each class to know what to expect. They offer classes for all ability levels, from absolute beginner to advanced/professional. You can choose to drop-in for any class ($15) or save money by purchasing a 10 class package ($139) or signing up for a 12 class monthly membership ($149). They also have an unlimited class monthly membership available, which is their best deal ($179). I've tried their belly dancing class so far and I can't wait to go back! Highly recommend!

On the education side, it houses the TCC Visual Arts, Digital Media and Design, and Mass Communication programs. On the art side, they have different initiatives and programs that promote inspiration, education and collaboration such as art exhibits, installations and education programs. On the event side, I've attended presentations, fundraisers, and other social events. The event hall is a wonderful venue with ample space, parking, professional lighting/sound, and a kitchen. The 9th Street Observation Deck and the Boston Avenue Terrace are my favorite spots. They have a great view of downtown and offer an outdoor venue. It is also Oklahoma's award-winning first "green" sustainable rooftop. The facilities rental prices are all on their website and the staff is great to deal with, always very accommodating and taking health precautions seriously. I have also been very impressed with how they've pivoted due to COVID and continue making things happen. From online galleries and exhibits to virtual workshops, I've loved the versatility! My favorite workshops are the "I Can't" series offered at no cost to the public multiple times throughout the year.

This is a very nice place to sit and study or hang out with friends/classmates. It is open to the outside. The third floor contains art classrooms for all media; painting, photography, etc... Also, Included on the third floor is the Connection, the schools newspaper office and an outdoor sitting area. The fourth floor is dedicated to administration. Overall, this is a pleasant place to take classes, study, work and relax. Wifi is available.

These boys couldn't wait to come back for their next lesson. We moms were afraid they'd never want to come back- now they're asking us when's the next lesson?! Tulsa's newest YMCA is officially open! I've been looking forward to this location since I heard…read moreabout it in November. It is an impressive facility on the west of Riverside. There's a beautiful mural on the east side of the building. As soon as I walked in, I was blown away by another colorful mural of a soccer player and a floating ball installation. It is called "The World in Play" with each ball representing a country with an active YMCA soccer program. This location will feature three indoor fields, but right now, only the soccer one is fully finished. To the left, there's a cardio circuit training with state-of-the-art equipment, including two curved self-propelling treadmills, which engages more muscle groups and mimicked a more natural running motion. Next to the circuit, there are restrooms, showers, lockers, and a local soccer jersey collection. To the right, there's a meeting room and "The Hive", an interactive obstacle course that seems super fun for kids (ages 8 and up). It has climbing ropes, ball obstacles, game targets, and a scoreboard to play games. On the second floor, there are more cardio and strength equipment. There's an age limit to go upstairs (15+). To join, they don't have a joining fee. Membership prices are available on their website starting at $28 a month. Nearby residents get a free memberships.

They are an afterschool…read morearts program that girls start to attend in third grade and continue to do so until their senior year of high school. Essentially, they provide continued support and wonderful programming throughout the span of 10 years of their lives. They not only provide the space, but also transportation, supplies and instruction. What is even cooler is that the students have many opportunities to sell the artwork they create throughout the years so they're also learning about finances, art show curation and public speaking. When a piece of artwork sells, they put 30% of its proceeds into the student's individual micro-savings account. Senior girls receive 100% of their sales. These earnings allow the girls to save money for art supplies, education materials or college. Finally, a great way to support them is by attending their annual gala, usually held at the end of October or beginning of November. It is by far the most creative fundraiser and it is always very fun. You will also have the opportunity to purchase amazing artwork.

Outdoor facilities include a Junior pool, sports fields, water playground, lighted tennis courts, shelter, playground, one-mile trail, picnic tables. The whole complex looks new and well maintained. The outdoor playgrounds are very nice. This is a nice addition to the community. People with children would love the water park area and playgrounds.
