I just had my wedding on Saturday (08/02/2025), and I wanted to write a review as quickly as possible--I have NEVER had so many guests as any party come up to me to compliment the DJ. From the beginning with our consultation call, my husband and I knew that they were extremely detailed and knowledgable of DJing for a wedding--but as we kept working with them, we felt more and more at ease because we could sense that they understood our vision and vibe. We always got great advice, tips, and reminders from them, and our bridal party really appreciated their support! I recently used Tempoe Entertainment for my wedding on July 3, 2022, and I cannot be happier!! DJ Tempoe, Richard and Neide were the best team, and I cannot thank them enough. We used Tempoe Entertainment for Photo Booth, 4 Cold Sparklers during the Grand Entrance and First Dance, Up-Lighting throughout the reception ballroom, Dancing on a Cloud for the First Dance, Customized Monogram, Two Glow Totems & Two moving dance lights, and Slideshow projection. Working with DJ Tempoe was very easy and professional throughout the whole process. I loved their portal where I was sent a secure log in and could see all the details of my event, what services I was getting, my team, and payment. It was easy to use and navigate. I also loved how I could customize everything. For the photo booth, I was able to choose the background I wanted and the frame design from tons of options. I also was able to select my personalized design for the monogram, which again DJ Tempoe had a huge selection to choose from! On the actual day of the wedding, I was blown away by how amazing everything was. A few of my favorite things: -the cold touch sparklers were epic during the grand entrance and first dance!! They seemed to stay on forever! -the dancing on a cloud during the first dance was amazing and created for magical pictures -there were HUNDREDS of props in the photo booth!! It was fun to grab so many different props and every prop seemed new, like it had been bought just for my wedding :) -DJ Tempoe set up purple uplights everywhere, and it created the exact purple vision I was dreaming of! We just had our wedding with Ryan as our DJ and Neide as our Spanish announcer/MC. Both were absolutely amazing. Ryan was beyond helpful and so patient! We recently hired DJ Joe Future for our wedding last week after hearing him DJ/MC at our friends wedding a few years ago. We have ZERO regrets! Joe was nothing short of AMAZING. He was able to get everyone on the dance floor - from the bridal/wedding party, to the parents/older generation, to the younger generation. We have a blended family (Mexican and Filipino) and he was able to get us all on the dance floor!! Our guests at the end of the night told us "your DJ was bomb!!" We had Joe Future as our DJ for our intimate wedding and it was so amazing! Through our planning sessions, he helped us map out the entire day and really helped us visualize how each part of the day would look like. They also have a useful planning tool where you can choose songs for each part of the wedding (song to walk down the aisle, song for garter toss..etc). Our venue also required specific paperwork and Joe and his team were quick to respond. We had an intimate wedding so Joe really helped us keep the party going! Aside from just the DJ we also got the photo booth, some up-lights and gobo monogram that we were able to design along with the photo booth prints (our theme was moon phases). our DJ was Ryan, he was awesome full of energy, was at the venue on time, got all the names right and all the rights songs, had my guest on the dance floor. his assistant (which I'm so sorry I forgot her name) was amazing, also full of energy, handled the photo booth awesomely. Overall it was a great wedding and the dj did a okay job, not great. He cut the mother son song way to much! My husband wanted the dj to cut 30 seconds off the end of the song. He cut half of the 4 minute song down to probably 2 minutes. The dj started the 2 minute version before his mother even got up to walk to the dance floor. So the whole mother son dance on the dance floor lasted about 1:30 at least. Way to short!! My mother in law has trouble walking and getting up from a chair and the dj should have been sensitive to that fact. He also never announced the cake cutting or stop the music. He continued play music during the cake cutting and all my family and my husbands family was bad they didn't see that or know it was happening. The wedding planner told the dj to stop the music for the cake cutting and he didn't hear him or didn't listen. All Dj's do their own style, but I like when the dj is like a host of show and he announces everything clearly with the whole audience paying attention. He should have announced more. "Desserts are available now!" "Late night sliders and taco's are available now" and finally "may everyone direct their attention to the back over there for the cake cutting for Joseph and Sarah wedding cake." We had DJ Luke Sensebe as our Wedding DJ last Saturday and we had an absolute blast! He was very attentive to me and my husbands needs, especially since we love music and knew the type of vibe and genres we wanted to play. We gave DJ Luke multiple playlists and song requests, from oldies, modern soul, hip hop, banda, and cumbia, and he executed to so well! His colorful lights added to the vibe we wanted in our wedding, adding on to the foam glow sticks that we got for our guests. Finally, DJ Luke did a great job with the Anniversary Dance, leaving the longest couple together last to give me and my husband a piece of advice. We have looked back in the videos our guests have taken of the dance floor and we are amazed with DJ Luke's transitions and how he really hyped up the crowd. We had dancing in the clouds as part of the package, and it came out perfect during our first dance. Our photo booth attendant, Brian, was also very engaging and accommodating for our guests. Michael Mena was the DJ that played for our Bilingual (Spanish/English) wedding ceremony on 6/18/2022 He showed up on time, microphone was on point, but he did lack motivating and explaining to guests what was going on. We had a phone call 2 weeks prior to the wedding and let him Know about the dance "Vivora de la mar" and we were incorporating a "Pinata" for the kids. When it was time for the dance and pinata everyone was clueless as to what was happening and I had to yell to try to explain to guests the dance, and bring the kids in for pinata, which was really frustrating considering we did pay a total fee of $1,375.00 for 7 hours. We hired the DJ Tempoe team to DJ and have a photo booth at my graduation party in June. All I can say is that they were 10/10. They were attentive, answered all of my questions, and were extremely helpful in helping me get what I needed for this last-minute party.
