I could not agree more with Julea T! Both of our boys attended TTT and loved it. My younger son even met his best friend there :-)

Great place to start off your child's school journey! We've been with Latchkey for about two years…read morenow. My son started in the preschool (Teddy Bear) program and just graduated from the pre-K class (Dinosaurs). The staff are extremely nice and caring. Shoutout to Ms. Nicole, Mr. Matt, Ms. Sonia, Ms. Harris and all the other teachers who make Latchkey great. They've created a warm environment for my child to thrive. I'm confident that my child will be ready for Kindergarten this fall and all the friends he's made at Latchkey will carry on since it's attached to the elementary school. Tuition is very reasonable for the Bay Area ($1,515 per month at the time of this posting), and lunch/snacks are included. Hours are great for working families, basically the whole day from 7am-6pm. The facilities, which are two bungalows, seem to be on the older side, however, they do keep it tidy and feels homey. If you're in Daly City and looking for an affordable and family run preschool, Latchkey is the way to go! I will definitely send my second kid there once he's old enough.

As a single mom, finding a reliable after-school program and summer camp is essential, and Mr. Matt went above and beyond to guide us through the enrollment process and help us get into the Latch Key Center. My children are currently enrolled in the summer program, and they have been having an amazing experience. The center offers a wide variety of activities and exciting field trips, keeping the kids engaged, active, and having fun. My kids are truly enjoying their summer this year. The entire staff is friendly, caring, and dedicated to creating a positive environment for the children. I cannot thank Mr. Matt enough for all of his support and assistance. We are so grateful to be part of the Latch Key family and highly recommend this program to other parents!

What stands out most is how attentive she is to the little details , she truly takes the time to understand each student and bring out their strengths. Since being in her class, my son has improved tremendously, not only academically but also socially and emotionally. His confidence, participation, and love for learning have all grown so much. Ms. Chakraverty has a special ability to motivate her students and get the very best out of them while making learning enjoyable and meaningful. Thank you for your dedication, patience, and care Ms Chakraverty!

We always felt this campus wasn't very well-known, but once you get to know it, you'll discover it's a real hidden gem. The school's curriculum is very well-balanced. In addition to solid academic programs, it offers rich courses like Art, Music, Science, and Spanish. Children not only learn knowledge but also have the opportunity to develop their interests and creativity. This year, my child's academic progress has been remarkable. What surprised us even more was his personal growth. I used to think he was quite introverted and hesitant to perform in front of others, but with the encouragement of his teachers, he was fantastic at the Winter Performance. He confidently performed on stage, which was incredibly moving. His progress in social skills has also been a wonderful surprise. Many parents think Stratford is only about academics and lacks SEL (Social-Emotional Learning). In fact, the school integrates values like respect, responsibility, integrity, and care into daily teaching through the Character Counts! program, helping children learn to communicate, collaborate, and solve problems. Additionally, I really love the communication between the school leadership and parents. The principal, director and teachers are very willing to listen to parent feedback and respond proactively to issues, making us feel that the school and family are working together to support the child's growth. The school also offers abundant after-school resources. We've participated in Music Together, Chess, and Science, and my child loved them. For Kindergarten, there are also options like basketball, soccer, tennis, Cooking, and Gardening. Starting in K, you can sign up for the after-school Chinese program, which we did. We feel it's an incredible value for the price. Overall, this is a school that gives parents great peace of mind. The integrated schedule from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm means children can complete their studies and extracurricular activities at school without needing to rush to different places every day. It's very friendly for dual-income families. This year, we've seen our child grow in academics, self-confidence, and expressive skills, and we are excited for him to continue his journey at Stratford Crestmoor.

I'm hesitant to write this review but as I trust the Yelp community's reviews to make decisions on…read moremy kids' camps, I hope this helps give insight to prospective parents. ** They left my 6 year old alone outside for an entire class session. The first day of camp had water play. My kid's shoes got wet so the counselor helped her put them in the sun and had her sit on a bench to wait. Then everyone went indoors for other activities, leaving my kid alone outside. She was not able to get to her shoes because the pavement was really hot. After a long time, she finally just ran over to her shoes. A counselor then found her and brought her to art class when they were cleaning up after the activity. I don't know exactly how long she was left outside on her own in the hot sun, but being that a class ended in that time, I'm guessing 30-60 minutes. She came home near tears. I called Tony who was 90% business-apologetic and 10% defensive (claiming that she might have only been out there for 10 minutes, as kids don't have a strong concept of time). ** There is NO check in and check out protocol. There is no checking off of names when they arrive, and no ID checking during pickup. And obviously no head-counting when camp is in session. ** I can't speak for all the counselors, but all the ones that I saw during drop off were quite young (teenagers) and just talking with each other rather than interacting with the kids. Some of them were chatting with each other as they made friendship bracelets. ** They struggled with enrollment this summer and sent us many emails the weeks prior, encouraging us to spread the word. This is fine and understandable, but I felt they took it too far when my daughter told me that they were telling the kids that "Galileo is boring" and negative statements about other camps. ** On the last day of pick up, my husband went to pick up my daughter and found Tony getting in the kids' faces and yelling at them, drill-sergeant style. Tony was saying how he was fed up and how they weren't listening. While I did not witness this, my husband was quite shaken up and wanted to file a report. (We didn't, and felt it was better for us to share our experience and let parents make their own decisions) All this being said, there are some positives about this camp. The material and communication prior to camp was impressive. Tony was responsive when we had the issue the first day, and he did follow up the following day to check in. He was also flexible with allowing my younger daughter to drop out earlier this summer due to schedule conflict and charged us a reasonable fee. My daughter did have fun at moments, and came home quite happy with her face painted one day. For us, the negatives outweigh the positives by a landslide, and we don't be going back.
