The staff were friendly and professional very clean!! I asked for a manicure and pedicure, and I was very impressed with the attention to detail.My technician Ben that did my manicure (acrylics) he took his time to ensure everything was perfect, and the results were just like the picture.My pedicure were by Lynn and she did an amazing job with a great message!!They have a huge variety of colors and services to choose from, so I was able to find exactly what I wanted. I specifically asked for a coffin-shaped French manicure and confirmed that with my technician, but I left with thick, square-shaped nails that don't match each other. Several nails are different widths and shapes, making the set look inconsistent. I also asked for my old nails to be completely removed, but there is still leftover product and buildup underneath several nails. The French design is okay, but the thickness, uneven shaping, and poor cleanup left me disappointed. Unfortunately, I did not receive the shape or quality I asked for. Being new to the area, my wife was searching for a nice and reputable nail salon since the first place she tried did not work out. She walked into Tender Touch after being stiffed on her appointment at the other salon. She remembered this one from our lunch next door at Russo's. She walked in and was warmly greeted, promptly seated and assisted with her manicure. She has returned several times and each time the staff were extremely nice and did a great job on her nails. My wife has also had a few pedicures there as well and she says they are some of the best she has ever had. She even suggests that I might enjoy their services as well. The lady didn't know what she was doing then she had to call someone over because I was not satisfied with her digging in my toes and missing steps on my pedicure. Now I have an infection and they are refusing to give me my money back saying I was giving them a hard time. If I could give less stars I would but I will be fair. First the lady at the front desk (manger I'm assuming) was rude upon arrival no greeting just "what are you getting". I said hello good afternoon or something had a smile on my face per usual . She just told us(me and my daughter) " mhm and okay " "pick color over there" after I explained what services we wanted done. She was not even listening. #2 Someone else came in after us & she said it was gone be 10 minutes and for everyone to wait. Not even 2 minutes later someone came running from the back to service her quickly while as we waited an additional 3 minutes. #3.Then comes out a gentleman who barely spoke. Continuing on I still let my baby sit down because she was excited & wanted services. (keep in mind she is a child & does not know any better she just wanted her nails/toes polished) I spoke and thanked him as well confirming the services that was requested nails & toes as I always do to make sure we are on the same page He looked up like "toes " so obviously that means the manger at the front did not tell him about the toes. of course cause she didn't listen. #4. Now my services was different in the back Kim was very nice helpful and sweet she made great conversation and did well with the waxing. Upon leaving they rushed us out the door my baby nails was still wet not completely dry and the sad part is it was a mother and her group of children after us (non POC). The manger quickly greeted them spoke , was smiling and everything lost her "attitude" real quick sat down and even did one of the young ladies nails....hmm I'm not saying anybody is racist but if you are POC please and I mean please do not even come here so not waste your time. Maybe I just had a bad experience but no ma'am this is unacceptable. Kim is the only person in there who was generally friendly and really did her best to keep that "nail/spa" atmosphere thank you Kim. Where do I begin? Let's start with the positive. David is the nicest worker there and is super kind. (I only realized this after I visited a third time for a nail redo when it broke after like 6 days). Anyone else you deal with gets upset and you can visually see it on their face and in their attitude and tone when speaking to you. I first went for my mom's birthday and it was going great - I had to ask for wine, but I let them make it because most places ask you if you want a drink. Weirdest thing ever when getting my pedicure, she painted my shellac first on my toes then put the orange wax stuff in the bag, on. That I definitely did not like because I felt like it ruined my shellac and it did not last AT ALL... literally on that Monday my little wiggly toes were C H I P P E D. I would have went back but I live far. Ok, so that's my toes, let's get to my nails. Now I am particular and will say this... Cindy does ABSOLUTELY STUNNING NAILS but baby girl has a mouth on her and I think if I spend $250 on some nails I expect immaculate customer service and kindness NOT an attitude, huffing, and puffing and talking about me to her coworkers. All I can say is that was my first time and I was very upset and did not enjoy to be treated how they treated me for the price I paid for my mom and I. So that was my first experience.. let's get to experience #2 because I'm just thinking maybe they were like that because it was a Saturday and they were busy. No, I was not a walk in, we made appointments. So cool, I go back, on a Wednesday or Thursday evening. Yes, I was a walk in. I had my brother, I wanted to get him a pedicure for his birthday the previous day, and get me a refill. Y'all, I asked Cindy to do my nails, she said no, because her customer would take until 7:00 pm. I think not, because she is quick, but whatever. I asked for someone else. They gave me a man.. about 3 seats back from Cindy. I picked the red color I wanted to go with my design. Y'all, he laid the red powder on so thick it made the color look absolutely atrocious. I told him I did not like it and y'all this man caught an attitude and said some words in his language to his coworker and I'm thinking maybe this did not happen. But nope, it did, want to know how I know? The lady next to me says "Wow! They are rude." I said I know, but I tried to give them a second chance. I have nothing to say about those nails- I ended up picking a Christmas color that I'm not too fond of, but it is still festive. My pointer finger broke this week - yep, only lasted about 6 days - I called and spoke to David and y'all he was so nice and I told him I work but get off at a decent time on Saturday afternoon and he said come in. So I came in today and he was the kindest soul and let me know that sometimes the sparkle powder is more difficult and does not dry as easily I guess. The front desk person was also super kind too - it was my first time meeting her if I am not mistaken. Oh yeah, my brother never got his pedicure, but they serviced, four other people for pedicures when they walked in AFTER my brother and no, they did not have an appointment. So all in all, if you can handle rude customer service, come here, if not, don't even waste your time. I was overcharged to remove the false nails. The price went up from before the wedding. I went ahead and paid. I was ticked because the employee who gave me the price wasn't there and my choices were to destroy my nails, get new nails, or pay the extra $20. This place is so clean and pretty when you walk in. You're greeted as soon as you walk in and the staff is very friendly. You're offered a complimentary drink like wine or water if you'd like it. My experience was very pleasant and relaxing. It's quiet and there's not a lot of loud noises. The work I had done was great and my technician Tim was so gentle and catered to everything I wanted for my nails. He did a really good job and I will definitely be coming back!!! My full set of nails have lasted over a month. The tools he used were sanitized and extremely clean. All in all, the prices are reasonable to me and I think the quality of the work is fantastic. read more

I always come here to get my nails done and every time its a different price. And each time I ask they always say no thats the price its always been. Went in today and I always pay 40 for pedicure with shellac and suddenly its 45 for a classic pedicure with shellac while my sister got the same thing and they charged her 40. Tim did an awful job with my dip powder nails. He applied the dip on top of my previous dip nails and made them extremely thick and on top of that you can clearly see the color of the nails from last time. Normally have a good experience but this time I did not. Tech had to do my nails 4 times. In the end all I got was chrome dust and that's it. They charged me for acrylic and shellac and it came out to $50 I told them I wasn't paying that and the manager made me even though I had $10 worth of crap on my nails. Last time they charged me less than that and I got a lot more.... horrible. Thousands of places in Conroe and I won't be going their. QT nails 2 minutes from their is MUCH better. I've been going here for a while but after today, I will never return. My friend wanted shellac for her nails and a pedicure. They never gave her the option to pick a color for her toes, just assumed she wanted the same. She said she wanted a different color and Ben started to get an attitude and was very disrespectful. She picked a different color and then he just went straight to painting. She said no I wanted a pedicure. His attitude got even worse and stormed off, refusing to give her one. She was not disrespectful one bit. She had to wait for someone else to give her one. He never came back to apologize and no other employees apologized on his behalf. Many of the other customers commented on how out of line he was. Just because he misunderstood does not mean you should treat women that way. read more

Of all my years getting Mani/Pedis in 4 different states, this was by far the worst service I have ever received. I went in happy to get my nails done and Lynn was not friendly from the get go. I told he I wanted a French for my toes and OPI Bubble Bath on my fingers. She went to get the color and came back with another color and told me it was very pretty. I tried it but it had glitter which I don't care for so I politely told her no thank you I'll stick with what I picked. She seemed insulted. Then she went into to filing my natural nails with the roughest grit emery board and barely filed anything. I then told her to cut them down a little. She proceeded to cut them very short. When I tried to stop her it was too late so had to do the rest short. She then barely filed them and moved to my left hand which she barely filed and never cut. She proceeded with the manicure and I had to ask for the Cuticle remover to be added to my nails before she started using the nippers. She actually had to get it from someone else as she didn't have it and seemed extremely put out. I've never had to ask for this before and thought it was part of the service. She was about to start putting the polish on and I politely asked her if she would please make the nails on my left hand the same length as the right. She slammed the polish down and was very upset saying first I cut too much so I don't cut other hand...I was like I just want them even please. She cut them down and filed them roughly and was even rough putting on the polish. Then she moved to my feet and things seems to be ok but when I asked to see the color sticks as I might change my mind and get a color instead of a French you'd think I murdered her mother. She asked me what color did I want and I said I didn't know I wanted to look at the colors but she didn't move so I had to get it from them woman next to me who had a set. I looked through the colors and had one singled out but hadn't decided and she ripped it out of my hands to see what the # was to go get it. I stopped her and said I actually hadn't made up my mind yet and she gave me such an ugly look, I threw the color sticks down and told her to just do the F'ing French. Then she was trying to be nice and I was like you've been rude this entire service. I was in tears and wanted to get out there. This was my 3rd visit and I've only had one mediocre experience by 3 different nail techs. One of the other reviewers mentioned a man did her nails and filed them down to the quick and was rough. I had him my first visit and I had the same experience. My advice to the owners, focus on customer service and not shoving expensive services down a customers throat when they've already said no thank you. And PLEASE hire pleasant people who genuinely want to provide a service the customer is paying to receive not run down and rude staff who can't wait to get you out of there. read more

This is a weird review to leave because my mothers experience was great but my wife's experience was very odd. My wife's total with tip was more than my moms which is strange do to the different experiences they both had. First of all, my wife is nine months pregnant at the date of this review. They put my wife in a pedicure chair and started to doing her nails. By the end of the nails my wife informed me that my wife's pedicure water was cold. They completed the pedicure with cold water and then the owner asked my wife if she had picked out a nail color. My wife responded of her experience. They then re did her nails while getting up answer phones and helping folks so needless to say my wife's experience was not good. My moms experience was really good. It's odd to think that two people can come in together and have to completed different experiences. read more

My nails are uneven, lumpy and my Polish doesn't even cover the whole nail. 39.00 for a fill and this is how you send people out the door? That's terrible. I won't return and I'll continue to leave my area to get my nails done. The shape is uneven and the tips are slanted and not even filed evenly. The drill was used improperly and caused my nails to look wavy and lumpy. This really sucks. I came with out my 4 kids and to relax and get my nails done. But this is the type of salon that only cares about pushing as many customers through as they can. Their attention to detail definitely reflects that. Every time I have gone here for dip nails they always make my nails super thick and there always ends up being bumps and what not and they just look horrible. To make matters worse my mom came with me this last time and the lady that did her pedicure was awful. Like don't get me wrong we understand there is bound to be a language barrier issue at times but it was so bad she had to have other techs translate for her and when my mom asked her kindly several times to fix something that she messed up when cutting her nails/cuticles she like threw her hands up and gave up basically saying oh well I messed up and can't fix it and then when she was painting her toes there was a clump in the polish and my mom asked her to fix it and she basically hit my mom and my mom refused to let her finish so someone else finished but we were both so distraught over the situation we never want to go back. I do want them to fix my hideous dip or refund me but I've never had such a horrible experience read more

I really wanted to like this place. It's a beautiful salon and nice friendly staff. Unfortunately the work left me in pain for a few days. I had my nails done by the owner and he cut three of my fingers! I'm work with my hands so you can imagine how painful it was for me. The nails were not shaped to fit the size of my hands and were cut way too short. Once he cut there was not much left to say. They were really nice but their skills are lacking. I feel as if I was ripped out. The lady doing my nails was annoyed when I changed my mind on the shape. She also seemed annoyed the entire time because I would tense my hand every so often. When we were finished she went to the front and told me it was 59!!! I asked if I could have my eyebrows too. As we are talking walking back she made some comment to another nail tech and threw the receipt and paper on the table. It was very obvious I was frustrating her but we didn't really talk the entire time so I don't know what I did. When we get back to the front I grab the price menu and then she tells me the new price is $60. Mind you all I had done was a French tip and eye brow wax. I was not super annoyed by the price but I think they were trying to upcharge me all because my nail tech didn't like me. read more

I will probably never step foot in here again. I felt rushed...and so did the technician since she was on a timer for my pedicure. As was everybody else. I came in for a full set and pedicure, a woman came in after me and is done with both... And they haven't even started my full set. I know she got the exact same thing as me since she is one of my friends. And the guy running the place is a bit rude. I don't expect them to spend hours on my pedicure, but I also don't expect to be rushed by a timer. The timer went off and my technician wasn't even able to finish my pedicure so they put my polish on and sent me on my way. It took so long for them to try to start my full set I had to not get them and I will now have to go back and get them done. There are plenty of other great nail salons around and I think I'll be using those. read more
