I was worried that there wouldn't be any new exhibits but I was surprised and happy to find the opposite to be true. They have definitely expanded and updated since my last visit. If you enjoy true crime and/or history this is a great spot to visit. On the crime side of things they have a wide range of crimes-not just serial killers or murder. (They do have a Ted Bundy VW beetle and 2 John Wayne Gacy clown costumes on display). They also have areas for financial crimes, etc. History wise they start off in medieval era, then the Wild West, mafia to present day. Nice exhibit on 911. Interactive exhibits too, like DUI and autopsy. Well worth the price of admission to me. Easily a couple hours of stuff to do. Especially nice on a rainy day!

So this becomes a 1.5-2 hour engagement. It can be dark in areas, so if you're the owner of old eyes. Break out the iPhone flashlight. The rooms are designed to be progressive thru the years (the Middle Ages were messed up!!!). So the pacing is well thought. We went in the off season and it wasn't crowded. I could see during the season, it could be a challenge. Lots of middle aged women that listen to "those podcasts". So husbands be wary when wives start nodding at one another. A great place to go on a "weather" day. As a side note, the staff made a point of stating that all but four display items were authentic and not recreations.

It was so crowded we could not in any way see the museum before our time for dinner. Our only problem was the museum allowed....I do not know how many to do a museum only tour at the same time as the at least 150 people to enter for the dinner experience. It was a huge cluster of people. My opinion is the dinner tour should be held alone without the tour only group. That aside, the dinner was delicious and the crew actors portraying the Titanic crew were amazing. We had an amazing view of what happened that evening and the actors portraying the sinking truly gave us an evening of the heart of all those on board. The beauty. The tragedy. The sadness of the loss. Most importantly is this Museum keeps all the people on board of this vessel alive forever for each and every one of us. It was an unforgettable evening. I hope the museum will rethink how the do the dinner and tour. They need to make this part private for the dinner passengers. It was too crowded.

From the moment you arrive and see the massive ship replica, you can tell this is something special. The exterior alone is stunning and immediately sets the tone for what's inside. As soon as you walk in, you're given a boarding pass with the name of a real passenger or crew member, which adds a deeply personal and immersive element to the visit. Throughout the museum, you follow their journey, and by the end, you find out their fate--it's a powerful and emotional touch that really connects you to the history. The exhibits are extremely well done and very interactive. You're not just looking at displays--you're experiencing them. From touching a real iceberg to feeling the sloping decks that simulate the ship's final moments, everything is designed to help you understand what it was like on board. The attention to detail is incredible, with beautifully recreated rooms like the Grand Staircase that make you feel like you've stepped back in time. The museum does an amazing job of balancing education and emotion. There's so much history to learn, with real artifacts, detailed information, and stories about passengers and crew that bring everything to life. It's clear that a lot of care and respect went into telling the story of Titanic in a meaningful way. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate, which made the experience even better. The entire facility was clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate, allowing you to take your time and fully enjoy each part of the museum. Overall, this is an unforgettable experience that goes far beyond a typical museum visit. Whether you're a Titanic enthusiast or just looking for something unique and meaningful to do, this is an absolute must-visit. I would highly recommend it to anyone--definitely a five-star experience.

Castle of chaos can be purchased as its own separate event but is usually bundled up with a 4 way attraction event with Hollywood wax museum, Hannah' mirror maze and the haunted house called "outbreak". The wax museum is in its own exterior building and at the rear of the parking lot is a second exterior building that is a castle. Inside the castle you will find the other 3 attractions. After visiting the Gatlinburg/Sevierville/pigeon forge areas I do feel this 4 attraction pass is the best bundled tourist attraction in all 3 towns. The castle of chaos has two theatre rooms along with two adventure or show types. On our visit we chose between carnival which is a creepy clown attraction or Los banditios which is a robot attraction. We had actually done the carnival attraction at a Destin Florida tourist spot so we all chose Los banditos. Like most 7d attractions you wear 3d goggles, have a hand held gun for shooting the "enemies" to see who scores the highest (I won!). Your stationary seat will move up and down and sideways as you go through the adventure. Overall while most 7d tourists traps are pricey but fun this one the blow is a little lessen since you can get it with that 4 ticket attraction. The whole experience takes probably 5-10 minutes. Between the two rides offered they both have there advantages and disadvantages. I prefer carnival but I enjoy creep and scare factors. So younger or more frightened folks would probably prefer Los banditos.

If you've ever been to one of these before (and we have) you've been to them all. It's about 5 minutes of giggling while you bump into mirrors trying to find your way out, with colorful archways and black lights guiding your way. Not very big at all, and not very challenging. As we had young children with us, we skipped the zombie area (? Can't speak on it) and instead hit up both of the little 3-D shoot-em-up video game/films. (If you do the zombie walk, you only choose one of these) The first one we went on was scary clown themed, and had I known just how scary, I would have skipped it. (My 4 year-old was a bit traumatized). The other one, where you shoot at evil robots in the Wild West(!) was much better, not only because it wasn't too scary for little ones, but because it was smoother and less headache inducing than the other. It was probably my favorite experience of the three, but not worth the price of admission unless you got the discount pass for the wax museum and you've got time to kill.

This is a great place for all ages, but I think older kids will get the most out of this interactive museum. Which was perfect for my family, as my kids fit into that "older kid" category. Packed with more than 150 interactive exhibits, we had a blast checking out all of the VR games, as well as the four-story-high, state-of-the-art Flyride, a flying adventure that makes you feel like you're really flying! What else? There are old-school video games to play, Big Foot exhibits to explore, skee-ball and basketballs to shoot in the game area, a giant white ball pit to jump into, and lots more. This is a very hands-on, interactive museum. I highly recommend Beyond the Lens for families with older kids. Sometimes, it can be hard to find things that older kids will like. But older kids will like this place! And it's also suitable for younger kids, too, so the whole family can enjoy.

I feel like…read moreyou're either all in on Dolly Parton's Stampede, which most everyone is, because why would you pay almost $75 per ticket if you weren't? So you're either all in, or you're like my grumpy self: wondering when you can leave, and wondering why your soup is being poured into your bowl from a foil-lined Tupperware container like you're serving time in a penitentiary. This show is bananas. I had no idea what was going on at any point. Don't ask me about the plot. All I know is that there were bison, and people riding horses, and people waving flags, and at some point there was a big boom and some flashing lights. It's a show, for sure. It's something to watch while you eat. The food is fine. You get a lot of it! This is a prix fixe menu, so I don't believe you can pick what you want. You get what you get and you don't throw a fit, basically. You get a whole game hen, for crying out loud. Contrary to what some people think, you are not forced to eat with your hands here. You are provided with forks and spoons. But the game hen is something that you can tuck into with your hands, if you wanted to. You also get soup (poured from the aforementioned foil-lined Tupperware pitcher), a biscuit, mashed potatoes, pulled pork, corn on the cob, and a dessert, which was some sort of vanilla and chocolate coconut cake. It's a lot of food. A beverage is included with the meal, but if you want an alcoholic beverage, then that's a separate charge. I got a glass of red wine, because there was no way that I was going through this experience completely sober. I am not the audience for Dolly Parton's Stampede, but I'm glad I visited. Before my visit, I talked to a friend who had fond memories of visiting this dinner theatre show with his family many times when he was younger. I think it's the perfect place to visit with kids: It's food and a show! What can be better?

No true special treatment. Only plus was guaranteed front row seats. Food was generally ok. Chicken was decent, the pork was really good. The corn was nasty and the soup bland. As a slow eater I wasn't able to finish my main before dessert came. Got to try both. One bite was enough. The show was decent. Tough to watch at times because of the servers. Even with a broken ankle I limped to our seats, handicapped seating was way up top. Maybe I expected more because of all the positive hype. Generally disappointing experience.
