I agree with most people: the service is bad, and the lead admin Steve is rude. Stay away!

One lesson a week, so to control cost and have time for other activities. Both coaches are not just good good players and coaches but also they are very professional, and patient with the boys. We tried the group lessons before that, which is cheaper, but they didn't go any where. Group lessons coaches hardly have time to focus on the individual player. They kids game have improved and as long as the kids still like to come and play with Mike and Barbara, I will continue bringing them. We are happy customers. I have actually started taking lessons myself with both coaches as time permits, I played some Tennis in my younger years but with no formal training. Let me tell you that my game has improved, they managed to correct many of my bad habits and I now started to enjoy the game more. One last note, it takes years to play Tennis good, and takes patience and persistence to master it. Coaches like Mike and Barbara will help you indeed, but the player (and his family if s/he is a kid) needs to have it in them. The coach is not a magician. Good luck everyone.

I like that the lessons are centered around actual game play and how to play certain points or types of players. As my son improved he was matched up with players either slightly above or at his level to challenge him and give him practice in areas that he needed improvement. He now competes in USTA tournaments and feels confident when he plays.

He teaches out of his backyard court in Yorba Linda, which is honestly awesome -- super close for me, private, quiet, and just a great environment to actually focus. What I like most is his coaching style. Scott doesn't give those vague, generic "rotate more" or "use your legs" comments that don't actually help. His feedback is specific, actionable, and something I can implement on the very next ball. He adapts to how I hit instead of forcing a one‑size‑fits‑all technique. My backhand has never been my best shot, and I'm not pretending it's suddenly my favorite shot-- but I could feel improvement right away. He also got me rethinking my forehand swing path in a way that's already giving me more consistency, which is exactly what I need to build a reliable rally ball for doubles and get my fitness back up. Scott's just a genuinely nice guy too. Easy to talk to, easy to work with, and zero ego. If you're trying to get back into tennis or level up your game, I highly recommend him.

I would definitely recommend him as a coach for anyone wanting to learn tennis or get back into it.
