When we started planning, we were looking at a lot of venues that were charging outrageous prices, and at the same time not giving us the wedding that we had envisioned and wanted to create. They left no room for creativity. After a few months of looking for a venue, we found one we loved. However, we had to find ALL of the vendors - as the venue was just providing the space. I knew we would have to hire a wedding planner. One night, I was on Instagram and stumbled upon an amazing wedding. It was beautiful, had style and so much energy. There, I found Hermela's contact as she was the planner and immediately contacted her. She responded right away and explained her services and what she offered. We set up a face to face meeting within the next couple of weeks and I was sold! We started planning in January 2019 for a wedding that was on October 4th, 2019. Right away, Hermela provided wedding planning worksheets that focused on the budget, guest list, tasks, etc. Everything was so organized. She was also so understanding that Sean and I live in New York, so when we did come back to Boston my day would be filled with vendor meetings to make use of my time. She is always so efficient and makes great use of your time. In one day, we had a caterer and cake tasting, mock reception set up, and make up trial all in one day! Her endless list of contacts made it so easy to select the best vendors. Everything was booked ahead of time and organized. During the planning process we had constant check ins as we were meeting deadlines for tasks. She was always available and naturally became a friend during the planning. Leading up to the wedding things got busy and payments were due. She made sure I was on a schedule and not waiting until the end to make payments and get overwhelmed. This was so helpful to us. She lead the rehearsal day and made sure everyone knew what they were doing. Then finally, on the wedding day she was up and making sure hair and makeup were in my hotel room at 6:30am. Making sure everyone followed the schedule provided in the Wedding Packet she gave the bridal party. While getting ready, she was facilitating everything at the venue. Then still made it to the hotel to help us finish up, take photos and get to the first look photo location. She was with the guys, us, and the venue. I'll never forget when I walked into the venue the feeling I had when I saw the place. It was beautiful and everything that I had envisioned. Hermela made everything happen that we discussed. My wedding was perfect in everyway and people are constantly complimenting the night. Hermela made this happen for us. She is extremely talented and down to earth. She is extremely easy to work with and very reliable. I booked a bounce house several weeks in advance for my three-year-old's birthday party with over…read more80 guests. Less than 24 hours before the event, I even confirmed with the company that everything was set. Shortly afterward, I received an email canceling my reservation because the bounce house had been found to have damage during its inspection. I understand that safety should always come first, and I would never expect a company to deliver unsafe equipment. My disappointment is not that they canceled--it is how they handled the situation. I immediately replied explaining that this was my son's birthday party, that the bounce house had been advertised on our invitations, and that we had already paid to have trees cut back specifically so it would fit in our yard. I also asked for a phone call to discuss any possible solution. I never received a response before the party. Because of the last-minute cancellation, I had to find another rental company with less than 24 hours' notice. Thankfully I was able to, but it cost significantly more because of the short notice. Between the higher rental cost and the money we had already spent preparing our yard, this last-minute cancellation became much more expensive than just the original booking. I did receive a full refund, which I appreciate. However, after the party, when I followed up about the lack of communication and mentioned that I would leave an honest review of my experience, I was told my message was "professionally unprofessional," that I "obviously could not understand" the circumstances, and that mentioning an honest review was considered a threat. One additional concern was that the cancellation email and subsequent correspondence contained numerous spelling and grammatical errors, which did not inspire confidence during an already stressful situation. Unexpected equipment issues can happen. What matters is how a company responds when they do. Unfortunately, after booking weeks in advance, confirming my reservation the day before, and then being canceled on with no response before my son's birthday party, I was left feeling that communication and customer service were lacking.

They were extremely prompt responding to our emails, exceedingly personable (our wedding guests LOVED them) and they allowed us to customize every single thing about our photo booth - we chose the backdrop color and even the photo strip colors down to the wording and font. They came prepared with a TON of cool props and printed extra copies of each strip, putting together a scrapbook for us to keep as a memento. They decorated the book with adorable jewels and personalized it with each guest adding notes next to their picture. The scrapbook was given to us at the end of our wedding and it was so great to look through later that weekend to see all the fun our guests had and read their well wishes, especially because it'll take weeks to get our professional pictures back & we were able to see these right away! OH! AND they put all of the pictures on a Flash Drive for us to keep & also uploaded them to their online gallery (password protected if you'd prefer). Seriously - they were incredible & really thought of everything. We would highly recommend Snapshot Entertainment for any function you're planning. They are well worth the investment.
