It'zaparty has been my go to place for balloons for the past few years. I usually get one or two clusters of balloons to put on either side of doorways for special events. The last few times I've gotten the balloons, they've lasted less than 10 hours. It was a little disappointing, but I thought this is probably standard. A week ago I needed two clusters of balloons again. So I went to my favorite balloon store. I happened to mention to the young ladies behind the counter about noticing how short of a time the balloons last. One of the young ladies asked, "you don't get the spray inside of the balloons?" I was intrigued so I asked, "what spray?" She explained that there is a pump spray that they put in the balloons before inflating them that will help the balloons to last 24 hours instead of 8 to 10 hours as I had experienced. it was a few cents more per balloon. But I thought, "what the heck? Why not?" I purchased my balloon clusters on a Friday at four in the afternoon. It is now the following Thursday at four in the afternoon. A full seven days. The balloons are still inflated, still bright and colorful, and still impressive. A little bit of the shine has gone. But that's not a big deal. I'm so happy they told me about the spray. It has made a huge difference. From now on, I will always get the spray to make sure the balloons last this long and possibly longer! Do yourself a favor when buying balloons at It'zaparty and spend the extra few cents for the spray. Thank you It'zaparty! read more

IZITAPARTY?IZITREALLY?! Not digging the all caps aggressiveness. I feel like this store is trying too hard. Like that guy in high school who invited you over for "THEBESTHOUSEPARTYEVERRR!"... one six-pack and the Smashing Pumpkins CD do not a kegger make. That wasn't a party- and neither is this. Small brand version of iParty-type stores. They've got lots of stuff here (event and party decorations, items for birthdays/graduations/theme parties, cards, balloons etc.) but selection feels less than your other larger party stores and yet somehow prices ring in the same or higher. Bonus for the 15% off your entire purchase when you show your check-in on the Yelp Mobile App. If I'm going to spend $40 on a basket full of bachelorette party doodads- I feel better knowing I got a discount. Suggestion to Management? Reconsider your merchandise layout. I'm sure you got a kick out of watching me debate which penis shaped shot glasses to buy while bumping elbows with Sister Mary Francis, but maybe next time don't put "Bachelor/Bachelorette" across the aisle from your "Religious" section? read more

Read the fine print on coupons, among other things. Brought in the 20% off coupon and they wouldn't allow it because the costume that my son chose was $2 off. Really? Add the $2 back, then subtract the 20%. So $8 is more important than Customer Service. I guess that they don't need our business any more. read more

I would like to say this store is okay seems like when I look for stuff it's never in stock BUTT I would like to say the staff is great very sweet and they go about every and beyond . They pay attention and help with whatever they can . On wend I was in and my son was chocking not only did the girl ask if he was okay but she offered her own drink to help him after when he was upset the poor girl probably had no drink with her lunch but super sweet and super thoughtful and it was very much appreciated . Been here a couple of times. Been to other party stores (like iParty) as well. Location: 120 Main Street. Not the easiest to park at, and they have stairs on either side. So a little challenging to get in/out especially with other people coming in / out. They do have pretty good selection of Hallowe'en costumes -- and that was impressive. Pretty big store with tons of stuff. Was not as impressed with their balloons -- which only lasted a week or two without deflating. Sure, they're on the cheap side ($3-5) but I can go across the street and pay for a Stop & Shop balloon ($6-7) and it lasts a couple of months. Service was okay. Not super friendly -- I usually initiated with them rather than the other way. I'd probably give it 2.4 stars. read more

The stuff here is cheap and junky looking, but that's what you get from any large party supply store. They carry all the same stuff (brands, colors, and everything) as Party City, so if you need something last-minute or one store is out of something, you can go to either store. I was doing a big trip nearby at Hobby Lobby and came here for a few shower essentials - plates, cups, napkins, etc. The Robin's Egg Blue color was exactly what I needed and they had a LOT of items in that color, but sadly nothing baby or shower specific (everything was either pink, baby or royal blue, or gender neutral green & yellow). But it got the job done since I was making everything else we needed for the shower. When I got to the register, the cashiers were extremely friendly. They let me know the cups were buy one get one free. I hesitated because I didn't think we'd need 100 cups and also because I was in a leg cast, but seeing my hesitation one of the girls offered to go get me a sleeve of cups. So helpful! Sure, these places sell cheap, overpriced crap but the friendly service and variety of colors made it worth my while for some essentials. read more

So sick of coming in here and having a rude older lady take forever to ring me out. It is almost as if she has no manners and doesn't understand the first thing about customer service. I give it 2 stars because the assistant manager who helped me (she was wearing a jacket in doors...shows how cold it was inside the store, poor girl) was actually really nice and saved the day. I cannot say enough about the Itzaparty store in Weymouth. First of all, I LOVE their new location at 120 Main Street! The entrance to the store is much more convenient and there is more parking!! I recently helped plan a bridal shower for a friend. The staff could not have been more helpful with ordering balloons and helping me find the items I needed for the bridal shower. I got some great deals using Itzaparty coupons on regular priced items and also by checking out their large clearance section! Lastly, the manager was wonderful when she helped me return items we didn't end up using. I would highly recommend Itzaparty in Weymouth. read more

I was in this store coming from out of town. I noticed this very customer was being very rude to the person who was helping her. I cant believe that no one would step to help this cashier with this customer. Then i came in and heard an associate screaming and cussing at a cashier in front of the store at your new location. He kept using the F word every other word out of his mouth. If this is the way associates and managers treat their employees i. Will never shop in this store again. You had a real friendly and very helpful cashier but i guess someone mistreated her and i havent seen her since all i see is employees talking on their phones and ignoring customers and no one said anything to her or to get her to help people but the friendly had took care of everyone thaat came in even when she was busy with other customers. So with this being said my friends who i visited who always spend mega bucks in your store will never ever come in here again and neither will anyone else that she knows. I am just glad i didnt have my young child with me when this associate was cussing her out in front of the store. Too bad i like the new store but if this is how employees are treated that is so sad. I went into the new location , I admire the cashier that I had waiting on me. in, I noticed she had an injury to her neck yet she was very friendly and concerned about our experience there. I probably went out of my realm of business asking about her injury but she was very polite explained it was a simple matter and she was fine. She did have to call "back up" to a Nancy 3 or more times but with no success! I could see this poor girl was in pain but she kept a smile on her face and plowed through even though I could tell she was hurting. I'm writing this just to say you have a good girl there and refreshing because no a days that's rare! I appreciated her professionalism a great deal, thank you! I came in on Thursday evening 9/24/2015 just looking for some last minute items for a fundraiser for a friend going through some tough times with diabetes right now. Since I don't really know how one goes about decorating a local pub for a diabetes fundraiser, I wandered around aimlessly. I finally happened on a young lady stocking shelves, I asked if they had anything in the store to represent diabetes. She took me around and gave me a few good ideas, then mentioned the banners that your store makes. I told her this was very last minute & I don't have time to order something as the benefit was on Saturday 9/26/2015. She had me follow her right to the front counter and showed me some ideas for the sign, colors, symbols, fonts etc...she then called the Pembroke store where they actually make the signs and asked if I could get this by Friday night or Saturday morning. She said no problem, ordered it up and amazingly made it happen. Her knowledge of what your store holds was impressive and for such a young person she was genuinely excited about helping me and setting me on the right path for my benefit. I happened to have to run in on Saturday morning to pick up some last minute tickets and ran into her,( I had gotten the banner on Friday) and told her again how thankful I was for all her help. Amanda Toma went above usual customer service for us and for our benefit. As far as we are concerned, you guys are our "Go to party store" from now on. Great customer service. Keep up the great work. Ugh- terrible customer service. I came in to see if they had an Elsa wig- the girl told me she did and took it off the high hook for me but said she coulnd't take it out of the packaging so I could see if it would fit my daughter. (not like anyone was putting it on thei rhead- I just wanted to see the size). OK- that's fine. I take it to the front and it rings up $20 althought there was a HUGE sign saying it was $16.99. I told this to the cashier- instead of just taking my word for it she makes me go down with her to where the sign was. Than it turns into a 10 minute ordeal that the wig I had was not the "real Elsa wig" but the generic and it was 19.99 (I'm not sure why the generic is more than the "real" on?) They had to ask multiple people to figure out the problem inclduing the manager who was as rude as they come. I didn't really care about $3- it's the prinipal. You have a HUGE sign stating the price and you are telling me I'm wrong? (BTW nothing in the store was price marked individually and the wig I was holding said ELSA WIG on the back.) When a business fights with a customer about $3 it says a lot about what is important to them. read more

Stopped by 8/5 to grab a couple items for a luau party the other night ...about 25 min before store closing... there were like 5 employees standing talking behind counter hanging out and talking who barely even acknowledged us walking in...ok fine...so i found the luau stuff easily and my daughter wanted a coconut cup but couldnt find the price...i sent her to front desk to get price the girl told her 2.99, ok perfect. grab a grass skirt and a couple leis and the cup...at register to check out cup rings in at 4.99 so i stop the casheir and was like she just came up here and was told 2.99 the girl said oops i didnt pay attention sorry ....i asked her to honor the price since she gave it to her she wouldnt ...so i said i dont want it and she had an attitued... she rang in the other items and i paid but before leaving the store realized the skirt was suppose to be 7.99 rang in at 9.99 and when i said something she rolled her eyes... i walked toward the isle with items again ( to double check the price ) and another girl followed me...we both double checked the item and said yes it rang in wrong she said she was sorry and that she would have her fix it for us... the original casheir wasnt happy but i didnt get the other $2 credit back.... very annoying... i mean i know its the end of the night but really your attitude is the reason this just became a last resort store to me...ugh. read more
