Big fan of this place. My 2nd trip to the Phils was coming to an end and I needed to do a few…read morethings in and around Clark that I didn't get to do the first time around. One of those to-do things included finding food. Around the park, there are numerous places to eat and a couple of places to grab coffee/tea. We decided on this sushi place! We decided to go in here just after lunch as we were waiting for our showtime(docu-film) at the museum close by. It worked out perfectly. The place wasn't too busy and the staff was excellent. It didn't take long for the food to come out and we were able to take our time eating and still make it to the film with a few minutes to spare. My partner ordered a salad. (I think it had crab on it or something. I can't remember for sure but it was good). I wanted sushi but I wanted an assortment. The Maki meal I ordered was perfect. It gave you 4 pieces of 3 different sushi roll flavors. It was perfect for the situation. I probably would've gone crazy here and ordered more if it wasn't the day before my flight(no need to overeat before a long flight). We've already talked about it. With so much great food in Angeles and throughout the Philippines, it's hard to eat at the same place more than once but next visit, I'm coming back to this place to try more of their menu. The place is masarap!

He is completely mesmerized and in love with those cars. When he grows up, my nephew will (hopefully) realize that style is no substitute for substance. We stopped by Genki for dinner and got a bunch of stuff. The typical ones were salmon sashimi, salmon oyako don, unadon, and flying fish roe. The funkier ones were the tempura spam and tamago roll, and the Japanese tuna adobo. Whether typical or funky, all of them were meh. Not awful, but also either on the bland side or not of high enough quality. And at those prices, I definitely expected more. Too bad I don't find food-bearing racecars that wonder-full.

The panel shows clearly how your order would look like and the images also present the correct number of sushi you'd be getting per order. Each table is also fitted with a source of boiled water for dissolving the Japanese green tea also on each table (recommended serving of two spoons per cup). What I enjoy about the manner of ordering and serving compared to the belt delivery system is the sushi seems fresher. Food wise, taste is surprisingly good (expected more a gimmick and didn't expect it to be flavourful), but a tad tuned for the Filipino taste of being sweeter than usual. A great experience overall!

It's usually always better quality and tasty. Im not talking about japan good which is always a 10/10 but this was more like a 8/10 and the pricing made it 9/10 lol. There was not a negative thing I could say about the times I visited and ate lol my husband did I am sure get tired of it. He's more into Filipino food of course but usually if you grow up in the provinces food like this place isn't a daily or weekly thing so for him he got tired of it quickly lol I went to the one at MOA near the road entrance and the location at SM Baguio and both were fantastic! You do not have to talk to anyone lol which is more of my style. You click and choose what you want on the TV screen and it comes out to you. If it is a drink or larger item like a soup, they will hand deliver it but it's a quick drop and go kind of thing. There is a hot water spout at your table with matcha (which isn't the best grade) but it works lol Air con worked, it was never really "busy" when we went. Only a few tables but I'm sure it's because everyone was working at the times when we went.

It doesn't have the international recognition of Ippudo or Santouka or the creativity of Nagi, but the ramen here feels as though someone is treating you for a nice dinner at home. There are only three flavors available of the ramen, the shiro (classic), kuro (garlic), and aka (spicy). I've had both the kuro and aka, and I can say that they are extremely satisfying. Neither the garlic nor the spice was too overpowering. The broth was also extremely well-balanced. Not too fatty but still smooth enough to make you want to slurp the bowl once you've finished. The pork cuts weren't as tender as I've had at other places, but still very well done. The tamago was also well done. Love the runniness! But what puts this place over the edge into 5-star territory is the price. You can get a super filling bowl of ramen here for only 230 pesos! And that's for the larger size! I wager that's basically half of what you'd pay at the more upscale mall places for nearly the same quality. I was also able to try one of their sets featuring a bowl of ramen of your choosing, their gyudon rice don on the side and a bowl of fresh fruits for only 360 pesos. I was stuffed after. So so worth it. The gyoza was also really well made, and a steal for only 100 pesos. The staff here is always super attentive and accommodating, even when we've come in with a larger group, and they do accept all major credit cards, which is a huge plus for me. Definitely worth a try. I don't have to venture out to the more upscale parts of the Metro to enjoy a well-curated bowl of ramen anymore!
