So the 3 of us went here for dinner last night. Now with me how i rate a restaurant is on certain criterias. I feel that if your salsa and your guacamole is on point then the main meal will follow. I also appreciate a warm salty tortilla chips. Everything was so so. Service was slow which made no sense cause they weren't busy for a Saturday night, we had to ask for refills. I had the shrimp chimichanga, it was tasty, rice was good. But my friends order different tacos but that was it nothing else was added such as rice and beans just tacos which were very small in portions. Overall I give this place a 4 read more

We had never been to this restaurant. We decided to give it a try. Glad we did! We each had a burrito. My wife had a veggie. I had a chicken. Both burritos were terrific! Plenty of filling. Perfectly created. Service was super friendly and attentive. Our special requests were complied with no hassle at all. While we were waiting for our burritos we were served chips and salsa. The restaurant was preparing for a haloween party and the decorations were great. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant. read more

Great selection of Mexican food! Outside patio is sunny but also well covered in case it rains. Lots of tables and the bar itself accommodates about a dozen stools. Very friendly staff! Highly recommend a visit! read more

The food was surprisingly good, but the knowledge of the wait staff needs improvement. Our wait person was not knowledgeable at all about drinks from the bar, and Insisted they could not make martinis.... I told her to bring me a shot of titos, glass of ice, and i would make my own.... Bartender brought me my drink and it was perfect!! Just a little training when hiring would be beneficial in many ways!!! read more

Great outdoor seating and pet friendly. Service was fast and very friendly. My husband loves beef tongue, which is rare to find at restaurants in this area. He mentioned to the owner that he likes tongue and she surprised him and brought him out a beef tongue taco! Good and margaritas were delicious! read more

Happy to find genuine Mexican food at this great, unpretentious restaurant in little Valatie. Huge backyard with garden tables and booths protected from the weather, Chatham Brewery beer on tap, and really sweet, professional wait staff. Bypass the phony gringo "Mexican" places in nearby towns and get the real thing. With better service! read more

We had high hopes for this bright and clean restaurant. Those hopes were dashed pretty quickly. First the seltzer and coke were flat, but hey, that can happen anywhere. On to the entrees..... companion had the chicken fajitas. Nice large but relatively tasteless pieces of white meat chicken, unremarkable tepid beans and room temperature rice. I had the enchiladas. The 2 cheese enchiladas were tasteless and cold and the cheese inside was the same cheese sticks that you'd put in your child's lunch. Unmelted. The frightening chicken enchilada was filled with the tiny bits of dark meet and tendons left after the white meet was removed for the fajitas. The meat was unseasoned and smelled and tasted like it had gone bad. We paid cash and ran. Fast. Update: just got home. The chicken in the enchilada was bad. read more

We have been here five times and it just keeps getting better. I especially love it now that the spacious patio/tiki bar is open. Best guacamole in the county, for sure. The shrimps diablo are fab as is the everything fajita, my wife's fav. Very strong drinks and a good beer selection. Plus the service is very good and pleasant. read more

Great restaurant with very friendly wait-staff. The chicken burrito is my go-to and the consistency is amazing. I have yet to experience a restaurant that delivers the same great quality as Tequila Sunrise, over and over again. I recommend this place to anyone I talk to. This place is a poor excuse for a Mexican restaurant. The food is terrible, bland and soggy. The drinks don't have any flavor. I ordered a frozen mango margarita and it tasted like absolutely nothing. I would have been better off ordering a water. I hope someone steps in to make this place better. read more

Drove by this place many times and decided to stop in, what a nice surprise this place was! They served tri colored fresh chips, with 3 different sauces, when we sat down. My husband ordered the chicken chimichangs served w/rice & beans (he doesn't usually like the black beans but thought these were great) I got the tostadas, asked for catnitas, which wasn't on the menu, but they made for me. My husband raved about the chimichanga, how fresh the flour tortillas were, excellent taste. My toastadas were delicious, again the corn shells were excellent!! We decided to share an order of churros...a serving of 6 pieces was perfect..freshly made and drizzled with chocolate and a scoop of whipped and sliced strawberries. The food is wonderful, the service could not have been more efficient, with the waitstaff as pleasant as could be. And the margaritas were actually great, something I virtually never say in NY Mexican restaurants. read more
