Fiesta Cafe - 2/5 Stars Cute location and cozy atmosphere, but that's about where the charm ends. I ordered a simple burrito and a latte to go on a Sunday morning. The café was moderately busy, but plenty of tables were open--so not slammed by any means. Still, it took 30 minutes to get my order. Absolutely unacceptable for a single burrito and a coffee. I had to go up and ask what was going on, and even then, there was no urgency or explanation. I wasn't expecting fast food, but come on. The food was just meh, not bad but definitely not worth the wait. Unless you're not hungry, don't have kids with you, and are in the mood for a painfully slow, lazy day experience, I'd say skip it. I won't be back. I literally think they forgot about me until I went up to ask. Very disappointing. read more

This was our first visit to Fiesta Cafe, and we're already looking forward to returning! Tucked inside a small group of stores on Main St., the cafe offers both indoor and street-side seating, giving you the option to dine in a cozy space or enjoy the open air. Ordering is simple: just choose from the menu on the wall, grab a tabletop number, and the staff will promptly bring out your food and drinks. The menu is wonderfully creative, with everything served 'with a Mexican twist.' We ordered the breakfast tacos and huevos chilaquiles (the latter may have been a special, as it's not listed on their online menu). Both dishes were packed with flavor and were ample portions. We also had a specialty coffees which were served piping hot. We sat outside, taking advantage of the lovely weather, which made our experience even better. And I have to mention the staff--they were exceptionally friendly and polite. All in all, we're looking forward to our next visit! read more

Came during lunch on a Saturday. It gets packed but worth it. The staff are lovely and food is totally legit. It has been a LONG time since I have had yummy authentic Mexican food in the East coast. My kiddo got a Jamaica and it was so flavorful. I ordered the chilaquiles but they gave me the huevos rancheros; I let them know but I took it since I didn't want to wait longer or bother the staff - the food was delicious! The rest of my family enjoyed their meals. Looking forward to try them again! read more

In my view, the most wonderful little eatery in Chatham. The menu is large, refreshing home made Mexican juices, terrific freshly made everything, cooked with care to order. Their prices are reasonable too, thank goodness. The people who run this are so friendly and kind and special... First time coming here since it became the Fiesta Cafe. Stopped in here for some brunch before the second day of the film festival. Staff was very friendly. Even though it was a bit crowded my food came out pretty quickly. I ordered scrambled eggs, toast, home fries, and bacon. Everything tasted delicious! The coffee was good as well. Reasonable prices. Excellent! My favorite place for French toast and terrific freshly brewed coffee!Breakfast all day long is such a treat.

The people are nice and friendly, the food is fantastic, the hot sauce is really HOT. Many locals consider this the best food in Chatham at this point in time. I would order ahead as they take a while to prepare it. That's not necessarily a bad sign as it means it's prepared to order. A friend of mine who grew up in Texas loves this place. First of all the place is hidden In a little walk in area next to the general store. Seating inside or out is very limited. Burrito was filled with nice vegetables cheese and sour cream. Very nice and tasty. They have have a very nice Mexican food selection and very helpful staff. Even thought their hot teas are heated up probably a little too hot this place is very good food. By far the best Mexican food in the Chatham/Hudson area! I can get a breakfast burrito within walking distance of my place in Hudson, but Fiesta Cafe is so superior that I always elect to take the 20 minute drive, as it just cannot be beat. Very similar to the chorizo breakfast burritos in SoCal, plus amazing coffee and nice people! An absolute win! read more

I found this great little cafe passing through the area yesterday afternoon. It's right off the Taconic in a nice little town on Main Street. I had the best burrito I have every had which came with homemade chips and the most amazing HOT sauce, I think you are supposed to dip the chips in it but I used it on the burrito. It is a wonderful surprise to find exceptional food found on the road. Another reason besides the view to cruise the Taconic rather than the Thruway on your way upstate. read more

Small cozy restaurant. Went here to rest from our road trip to Canada. What a surprise to find a such a gem. They have a small pot clean bathroom with paper, tower and toilet papers. We ordered shrimp sandwich, nacho, and fiesta salad. Food was excellent. Fiesta salad is with herb greens. If you don't like James, please ask them to replace it with a regular greens. Overall nice pretty small town. We enjoyed strolling around after our lunch. read more

Fiesta Cafe has the best food in the Chatham area. Chef Enrique makes everything with loving attention to the quality and freshness of his meals. Everything we have eaten there has been excellent. I love good food and my wife is a more discriminating FOODIE. We agree that this place is wonderful. The only problem is too many other people agree about this and the place can get overcrowded at noon , causing lines and long waits. read more

Fantastic authentic Mexican home cooking, you have to try. I have the Birria Tacos today, but I also enjoy the Tamales, the Enchiladas, Sopas, Chimmichungas, and the Chili Relleyenos ... great sauces , especially the Mole' that Chef Enrique' makes; it is savory, rich, but not spicy like others, and not too sweet, just perfect. Such a great place with amazing food! We had the Cajun shrimp sandwich and the California club and they were both delicious! Fries are nicely seasoned and the portions are just right.
