While we paused, the skies opened up and it started to pour rain. The owner and employees were so friendly, inviting us in and helping to bring the baby stroller our group had with us into the store. We sat down, drank some liquor and spent time with them while we waiting out the downpour. We didn't have the pleasure of trying out the actual charcuterie, but we left with some souvenirs, including saffron, and some wonderful memories of our brief time there.

We ended up ordering caprese salad (the freshest buffalo mozzarella we ever had), one pasta, and the bread loaf filled with meatballs and ragu. We were in heaven, and the portions were tremendous. Food is great and is a little different than your standard Naples cuisine, and fairly seafood-centric. We started the antipasti (one order for two of us) and at least nine plates came out with a variety of little things. Bruschetta, fried dough balls (never remember the name), some steamed snail dish, fried anchovies, something with couscous (unusual for Naples), and a couple other plates. We had two primis, a sepia di nero (cuddlefish) black pasta with mussels and a swordfish botarga (fish eggs) pasta with tiny clams. Both were amazing. We were so full after all of that that we didn't even get to secondi. Total price for all the above, with water and house wine was 35 euro. Awesome. We've already been back a number of times.
