Stopped in with the family today for lunch. Let's start with the egg roll....which was amazing! It was hot and crunchy. The sauce they serve with it was so tasty!!! I'd go here just to get egg rolls. Too bad they don't have a deal for them! The bowls...were just ok. They need to salt the veggies. They really have no flavor. I added some of my egg roll sauce and soy sauce to make them edible. The teriyaki chicken was dark meat, which I love. It was the best of the three bowls. The spicy teriyaki was barely spicy. They asked if I liked it. When I said there wasn't any sauce on it and it was dry they said next time ask for extra sauce and that there is sauce on the table you can add to it. I got the regular size and it was very filling, split it into 2 meals. I ordered online and picked up in store. Their prep and service was quick, the food was ready in 10 minutes. I gave my name at the counter and saw them pull out my order from a large cooler that kept my food hot. Was really looking forward to eating here. Moved here from Las Vegas and frequented locations back there all the time. Came in with my family of 5 and ordered 5 bowls and all the rice was undercooked. Asked gentlemen behind counter if he could just replace the inedible rice with noodles instead. He said sure no problem then told the cashier to tell me that I had to pay the difference. Told her why would I pay the difference for something that was prepared wrong. If I had to pay then I'll just take a refund. He told the cashier refund me with cash instead of on my card. If the owner or management is reading this. You really need to have a talk with your team. How are you going to run a teriyaki madness and not make rice properly? I come to this place two times a week at least and every time I have an issue where they mess up the order they never do anything to resolve it. I called and asked for a refund today because they gave me the totally incorrect food of which I'm allergic to and I had to throw away in the trash. Every time I leave pilates I smell the great food coming from Teriyaki Madness. I decided to give it a try and I was not disappointed! I came in at about 8 on a Monday. It wasn't busy and the cashier was very patient and helpful answering all of my questions. I decided to get a bowl with vegetable base and double protein salmon and steak. The restaurant was clean and the wait was not long. The cashier even brought my food to my table when it was ready! I took it to go and ate it a home. The food traveled well. This is a great low calorie high protein option restaurant. They also seem to have other great options including rice, noodles, orange chicken and even chicken katsu. Are the people who work here ok? Aside from one woman who greeted me, after being stared at blankly by the original dude who was behind the register, at least she said hi. I'm not even kidding I walked in and he just stared at me. No blink, no hi, nothing. So I started placing my order. Not sure if he was learning but it was such an odd experience. I don't know how to rate this place exactly. I have been multiple times and honestly love the food. But it just goes to show how one bad experience can spoil your whole impression of a business. I'll start with what I always love about the food and service here: fresh vegetables and a good amount of protein stir fried with your choice of noodles. As a family of four, we frequently order two large bowls, one with chicken, one with steak, and it's enough for all of us, usually with some leftovers. There are usually some discounts available by joining the Mad Club, too. I also really like their egg rolls. The service always seems very efficient and friendly. Which brings me to my most recent experience: I came down with COVID for the first time ever and wanted to order some healthy-ish food for delivery. I went onto the website and everything looked on board for delivery, for which I paid a $7 fee (this was through Teriyaki Madness, not another delivery service). I waited until past the appointed time, and food had not arrived. I then logged in to see my order had an error, and I was directed to call the store. I did so, and the person who answered was thoroughly confused. "Your food is ready -- we don't deliver, though. But you can come pick it up," he said. I explained that I was sick and couldn't do that. I hung up confused. I immediately emailed TMad, and someone responded that they would "look into it." And then I heard NOTHING. I was not offered the refund I was owed. I emailed several more times before finally getting the charge reversed through my credit card company. This is just completely unacceptable. I'm guessing the website erroneously allows people to place an order outside of the delivery zone. But two additional layers of customer service failed, as well. I miss the food here, but honestly I'm not sure I want to continue patronizing this company after they fumbled such a simple thing. read more

It's a small hole in the wall that has very tasty food. The only reason I would (but most likely won't) go back is because the food is tasty. It has a small feel to it and is kept very clean. It has a nice tv to occupy your time if you are alone. The service, on the other hand, is horrible. No customer service. I was confronted with cindy, who I guess is a cook. My wifes order was wrong. I ordered to go and the bag was tied. When I got home, she noticed it was rice and not noodle as ordered. When i drove back, cindy called a manager and said it was the front of the house's fault, not the cooks fault. I felt as though she was just throwing the cashier under the bus. I have been looking for a good replacement for teriyaki since Phoenix and Yoshi's (the best). This almost has it but not quite. The service was adequate but it's now clearly geared for Doordash and not take out or eat in. I ordered the spicy chicken teriyaki and an egg roll. I added tofu to the bowl. Overall the chicken was chunked instead of shredded. My preference of course but the chunks were big. The sauce was good but not exceptional. The egg roll didn't seem hand made so meh...maybe it was but...meh. On a good note the veggies were well cooked. I met a man who I think was the manager and he was very nice so that's a plus. He paid for extra sauce on the side. When we got our order we again asked about the sauces and were told they were in the bag. When we got home of course there was no sauce in the bag. The bowls had very little vegetables and a lot of extremely dry noodles. I called and was told to come back to the restaurant which is 35 minutes away. I explained and asked for a manager then was put on hold. The person came back and said the manager was gone. I asked for credit for my ruined dinner and was told were about to close. Well... I was starved and waiting for eyeglasses, so popped in for some lunch. The chicken was pretty good. They only gave me a fork so I was pulling it apart with my fingers. Oops. It wasn't busy so I tried to be discrete. The veggies were disappointing. Nothing like the "pictures" on the wall or menu. No beautiful broccoli flowerettes. The greens looked and tasted like wilted iceburg lettuce. I THINK there was some cabbage in there but it was so soggy, I didn't eat much of it. The rice was gummy and starchy. Threw most of that away too (which was a bummer because I love steamed rice.) So... for 14.00 and change, I was not impressed. Probably won't return. I love this place! I count calories and macros and I eat here about once a week. The chicken is tasty as are the veggies. I try to eat low carb so I skip the rice. Just had you guys for lunch. Even if it was free, I probably wouldn't come back. The potstickers were panfried too long, to the point that they were super hard and inedible because you couldn't bite through it without cracking your enamel. And the spice level on the spicy steak, is on point. It's a bit too hot for me, but I expected it to be spicy. I ordered a large Dr Pepper, got charged for the upgrade; but the soda was flat and had no ice. So with everything that I experienced in my $20 lunch, it wasn't a great experience. My son and I ordered bowls from Teriyaki Madness this weekend. Shortly after completing my order online I received a phone call stating that there was a wait of about 20 minutes for white rice so they wanted to know if I'd like to switch it out for another item (fried rice, noodles or veggies). My son loves his rice so he decided he'd wait it out. I just thought that was a little strange as it would seem that white rice would be an item you'd ensure is readily available on a Saturday evening. My son said his regular chicken katsu with white rice was delicious and always reminds him of home (Hawaii... sadly they no longer offer macaroni salad). I was thinking a reg size might be a little big for me so I got a jr sized teriyaki chicken with noodles and veggies. My son and I both laughed when we saw how small my container was. The jr portion is about $1.50 or so less than the reg one but it should really be advertised as kid's meals. If so, I would've ordered the reg as there really wasn't much food at all plus keep in mind that I paid an extra $1 for noodles which probably was about 3/4 of a cup. Also sadly some of my chicken was burnt to a crisp on the edges but their teriyaki sauce is always delicious so that was a good thing (they need to bottle it and sell it in grocery stores). read more

I'm writing this review, saddened at the fact that I feel mandated to, so that others don't have to experience what I've experienced here multiple times. Lack of leadership, lack of customer service experience, lack of people skills, lack of decision making skills, and the list goes on. I was hoping this would be our teriyaki spot, but multiple negative experiences have showed me, that it can't be. If you HAVE TO go here, get the chicken breast bowl. Beef is terrible, looks and tastes fake. But even in the chicken bowl, I had pieces of salmon. Veggies were terrible. Pot-stickers, and egg rolls, were still frozen inside, with multiple attempts at giving me a new order, in which all were still frozen inside. Staff didn't know how to replace item with something else without having to call the manager (who's conveniently out, often). Staff didn't know how to refund frozen food without having to call the manager. Manager wasn't available. Food sits there waiting for the staff to remember to call the manager back to make a decision, and receive direction on how to replace or refund item. So sad. Honestly - I don't blame the staff. This all points at the manager/owner. Bad leadership and training, and lack of care for employees, the business, and the customer experience. read more

I've only ever ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl here. It always comes with sauce on it (to be expected), plus some on the side. Today, I spent over $35 on 2 large teriyaki bowls via Uber Eats. They both came with 0 sauce on them, with the rice undercooked. I called to address the issue. The employee contacted the manager who advised, "There's nothing we can do about it," even though I offered to drive 30 minutes there for them to be remade. I don't think I should be paying this much for plain chicken and rice. Wouldn't have left a review if it weren't for the dismissive attitude of the employee and lack of options to correct the issue. The chicken itself was dry as chalk, it had 1/8 tsp of sauce, the rice was extremely undercooked and crunchy, and the veg in the bowl was barely warmed up, almost raw.
