The Liang Pi is to die for! I came specifically to try it, and it did not disappoint. The noodles are handmade, you can really taste the difference. They're perfectly chewy and soft, mixed with sesame paste and seasoning. Served cold, it has a savory, tangy flavor that's very refreshing. We also tried the Biang Biang noodles, which aren't really my thing. The noodles are larger, softer, and incredibly long. I think the oiliness makes them less enjoyable for me personally. Spacious restaurant, suitable for family gathering. Service does take a bit of time but totally understandable due to order choices. High recommended!

A friend of a friend wanted to eat here and they were not able, so we decided to come try it. What an incredible food and Service! Cantonese wonton in Chili Oil we're excellent! And the Pan fried dumplings were also delicious. We ordered the"Biang-biang" spicy handmade noodles vegetarian and Fought finish every last bite The Dried sautéed green bean lunch special was an especially good idea with hot and sour soup and steamed rice. We are already planning what to have on our next visit: stirfry green beans with eggplant and spicy chili dumplings with a selection

    27. Cumin Marinated Beef w.Biang-Biang Noodles Loved it! Tender cumin beef and those chewy biang-biang noodles were perfect together. 74. Crispy Spicy Chicken - Loved how crispy it stayed and the spice made it addictive. Big portions for both dishes. Excited to try other dishes, especially some of the authentic Shaanxi dishes.

HUGE PORTIONS on the House Fried Rice

This place has some of the best House Dried Rice. Their Fried Rice reminds me of how it tasted Beck in the 90s out of the small take-out carry cartons (Those cartons breakdown into a bowl). The portions are HUGE in the Fried Rice. The service was great and people were friendly. Thr place isn't always packed which is fine with me, but I think they're good enough to be.

Love love love that we have a place for hand pulled noodles because I've tried to make it myself several times before, and it's hard to get those noodles perfect! My first impression of this place though, is that it's a little understaffed. I came on a Wednesday evening, and I think they only had one person serving the whole establishment. He looked super stressed and frazzled, and there were a lot of tables that hadn't been cleared yet, so there were a lot of used dishes around. But he was still super friendly and helped us get seated. The menu is also another beast to navigate. There are soo many options, I was starting to get a little bit of choice paralysis because I wanted to try practically everything. Also side note: I asked the server what the difference between the hand made noodles and the biang biang noodles were. And he said the biang biang were wide flat noodles while the handmade one were more the shape of udon. But my friend ordered something with hand made noodles and it still came out with the wide flat noodles. But regardless, he did say that both noodles were made in kitchen, so it's not a big deal but it did cause some additional confusion. Anyways, the food came out pretty quickly and everything was delicious! I loved the texture of the noodles. They were so bouncy and chewy and even better when covered in the sauce. It does take some working at to get everything mixed with the sauce but it's worth it! The meat is super flavorful, and the spicy is the perfect amount of spice. I def wanna come back to try some other menu options though!

We visited for an early dinner Sunday (around 5ish) and the place was quite busy! We got a seat in a booth and were able to order through an online QR code though they also gave us a menu. The options are a bit overwhelming but we tried the beef cumin biang biang noodles and the crispy fried chicken. The portions were generous. Next time I think my husband and I could share just one noodle dish. The chicken came out later and was piping hot. We definitely had enough for leftovers. The pricing seemed fair for the portion. I wanted to try the cucumber dish but it felt pricy for what it was compared to the main entrees. Maybe next time. The taste was very authentic. I'm glad this place is up north as an asian option. Only thing that fell a little was service. It took a while to get attention again for a box and the check. Otherwise I highly recommend!

Definitely matches the hype and all the Tik Tock recommendation. I love that they don't cater to the select few palate because they don't ask how how and what level of spice. You just have to be prepared for spicy because of how it is made. Love it. We went several time and working our way down the menu. The lady is always happy to help and balance out meal and make sure we didn't unintentionally order if the same. They do have the self ordering with the scan if you see they the waitress is too busy. They are a small business so please pack your patience because it's well worth it. Trust me the noodle is very good and worth the try. Don't order the fast food Chinese, they have way better food here that you can't find elsewhere. Leave the orange chicken at Panda Express.

Been going here enough that we are now considered regulars. All the things we've tried have been amazing. The crab puffs and soups are among the best. The egg drop soup is flavorful which is usually my complaint elsewhere. The seating is informal and it is ALWAYS busy but we've rarely had to wait. To be honest, almost everyone eating is Asian, which I consider a key indicator that the food is authentic. Their hand made noodles are so very good especially with their hot oil...which is very, very hot. Melt and numb your tongue hot. We're going again tonight.

Got a dish that I really enjoyed this time! #28 with the pork and handmade noodles. The sauce is pooled at the bottom so make sure to thoroughly mix. Came on a weekday and there was no wait, though it was not empty by any means. Many tables were uncleared and still had dirty dishes for a while, giving it that family establishment feel.

Exceptional authentic and delicious Shaanxi flavors with generous portions! Fast service and all of the food came out soon after we ordered. They have a large selection on their menu at reasonable prices. Convenient ordering with the QR code at the table and many items had pictures online for consideration too. This place was highly recommended by friends and I was very impressed. I was pleasantly surprised by the large plate of Pig Ears in Spicy Chili Oil. Usually other places serve this dish as an appetizer small plate. Definitely enjoyed eating more! It had the perfect texture, tender exterior and crunchy cartilage interior. The Cumin Marinated Beef with Biang Biang Noodles was my favorite. The beef was so flavorful and savory with a nice punch of garlic and chili. The hand pulled wide noodles are wonderfully springy and chewy. The paired veggies were bok choy and red/green bell peppers that also provided great crunch and color. The vinegar sauce is at the bottom of the bowl, so make sure to mix thoroughly to enjoy the full flavor. Crispy Spicy Chicken was amazing and actually had a lot of chicken, as opposed to just mostly being chili peppers. The exterior was so crispy and the interior was incredibly juicy. The toasted peanuts and green onions on top gave extra crunch. For the veggie dishes, we got the classic Eggplant with Garlic Sauce and Dry Fried Green Beans. Both were fantastic and paired well with our meat dishes. Bowls of rice can be requested and the number of free ones are based on the number of meat/veg dishes. They do fill the bowls overflowing the top, about 1.5x a normal bowl elsewhere. To go containers and plastic bags are conveniently placed on a table near the front counter for you to pack leftovers. It is located in the middle of a shopping plaza next to HEB, so you can get groceries afterwards. Plenty of parking in the front and side of the plaza. They have a relaxed atmosphere and 2 TVs on the wall that play music and cooking videos. As a noodle lover, I am excited to try their other noodle dishes next time!

    Crystal C.

In a plaza off near the HEB behind the Starbucks. Came out to meet with a girlfriend and was promptly sat it's a stereotypical Chinese restaurant with a large menu some normal American Chinese take out options and then some options for those who want something more authentic! Service is sub par and not super helpful but the food especially the noodle dish and fried chicken we ordered were superb. I'm taking one star off for the slow service and no refills for waters after being there for a couple hours. Other than that the food is really tasty but the menu is super large so from now on we'll use yelp and point to the pictures of what others have ordered!

    4. Liang Pi "Cold Noodles" with Sesame Seeds
    Thu T.

Liang Pi - the cold noodles with sesame paste is my favorite. I also tried biang biang noodles but it was just okay. These are thick, wide and super long noodles. I believe there are probably only 2 noodles in a bowl but the length of each one is super long. It's also very garlicky and oily so be prepared to have strong garlic breath for a couple of days after eating this. Beef noodle soup is not very good, mainly oily. I'd only go for the Liang Pi here. The restaurant is spacious and clean. Service is a bit slow.

Had to repost my review but will say that I've gone back again since my initial visit and the food is just as amazing as it was the first time. We got there mid day Saturday and were able to get seated right away and some more delicious food Absolutely blown away by the food here. The pig ear was perfect texture for me( my husband would have preferred it to be sliced thinner). The meat was so tender and the mixture of peanuts, cilantro, onion, and celery was such a pleasant texture combo. My only complaint is that I wish it was a little spicier. 4/5 The Chinese hamburger/ classic stewed pork was so close to being perfect. The pork was so flavorful I could have eaten a whole bowl of it. The flatbread is what I'm sadly docking points on, it was good but I wish that it was crispier to add that nice contrast with the softer texture of the pork and crispiness of bread. Would I get it again? Absolutely. 4.5/5 The biang biang noodles oh my god they were amazing. We got the highly recommended noodles with pork and the cumin marinated beef with biang biang noodles. In my book both of these are 5/5 but I will say that I preferred the flavor of the marinated beef noodles versus the recommended noodles. On the other hand I loved the texture diversity of the recommended noodles. The thickness of the veggies, the bouncy texture of the noodles, and the soft texture from the tomato. 5/5 We arrived at around 1:20pm on a Saturday and waited about 20-25 minutes to be seated but honestly for the quality of the food it was worth it. We did have a little bit of a wait for food but I think it was just the time we went, how busy it was, and the freshness of the food. Also note that they switched owners about 3 weeks ago at the time of this review so try to ignore any negative reviews before 2025. I can't wait to come back and taste more dishes from here.

Even with a heat index of 108°, I still walked in for their hot, succulent bone broth ramen...that's how good it is. The "LIVE NOODS" neon sign above the open kitchen is a perfect touch, you can watch the team pulling fresh noodles and building bowls right in front of you. It gives the place that energetic, authentic feel while keeping everything clean and modern. Wooden counters, red accent lighting, QR code ordering, and those sturdy stools make it comfortable for a quick solo meal or hanging with friends/family. Shout-out to Ana -- she was the absolute guide to deliciousness! She took my order with a smile and gave spot-on recommendations that led me straight to the good stuff. Service like that makes all the difference. I went with the Texasy Tonk (deep 60hr+ tonkotsu broth loaded with smoked brisket, smoked jalapeños, takana mustard greens, ajitama egg, and thunder oil) rich, savory, perfectly balanced heat, great chew on the noodles, and melt-in-your-mouth brisket. For the side I grabbed the Hot Pocketz from the Summer Combo (crispy birria-style brisket pockets with Oaxaca/Monterey Jack blend and birria dip). They were straight fire...crunchy exterior, gooey cheesy interior, spicy kick, and that dipping sauce took them over the top. Pro tip: Pour the remaining au jus from the Hot Pocketz into your Texasy Tonk broth at the end, it takes the flavor to another level! Cold beer + sake chaser rounded it out perfectly. Pro tip for first-timers: If you're new here, stick to the OG classics on the menu (like the straight Tonkotsu or Miso) -- they're rock solid. Once you're hooked, branch out to the fun Texas twists. Fast counter service, generous portions, and solid value (especially with the Summer Combo). Whether you're coming from Austin or just passing through Round Rock, this spot is worth the stop.

Lamb noodle soup was the same as the beef noodle soup; it did come with the black fungus, seaweed, tofu, and some vermicelli clear noodles, along with their handmade noodles.
