The terminal was very large so you need to pay attention when you get on the train. Bathrooms were disgusting. There was plenty of seating and the piped music was not too loud. There is no Starbucks here, but there is a Caribou coffee in the food court that has a lovely piano being played beautifully! read more

Located at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta, Concourse E (along with F) is part of Maynard H Jackson International Terminal and was our gateway for our Delta Flight to Montego Bay, Jamaica. So technically, this location should be listed as Concourse E since there are only 2 terminals at the airport (Hartsfield terminal used for domestic and Jackson terminal used for international). E has 28 gates, and there is plenty of seating around (the gates are not squished together, though it does make you walk a bit if your gate is at the far end). Our gate was configured for passport control as we boarded the aircraft, just requiring a facial scan. The Plane Train is great to use to get around the various concourses. It does have a Delta Sky Lounge which we visited, but next time, would take the train to visit the other concourses when we have a long layover. read more

Probably another Delta customer, but nonetheless "foot smell" was my takeaway. I imagine the ATL janitorial crew does a great job, typically, and this was just a one-off situation. When I fly, I fly multiple airlines Delta is one of them. Today has been very uncomfortable day. My flight was delayed by four hours. And The young lady Jayla, who was sitting at the counter was very rude and disrespectful. and doesn't have any people skills . And doesn't know how to talk to customers.. if you get up and be angry before you get to work, you should stay at home with an attitude. You will not be good employee for the day. It doesn't help to have an attitude, especially at the airline when you have to talk to people. I think Jayla needs to go back and review her people skills and take a class on how to help customers out in customer service. It's not nice to be rude and mean to elderly people that's unacceptable. And then want to sit at the desk and hold conversation with her coworkers, as if no one's in front of her and as if people are not standing in line to ask questions. Delta needs to put more friendly employee's at the desk where friendly people with nice attitudes in a positive workspace. A good attitude will help you even better. read more

This review is for Concourse E at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. At some airports, concourses and terminals may be synonymous, but not in Atlanta, so calling this "Terminal E" is technically incorrect. Currently, the Atlanta airport has seven concourses, A through F and T, and two terminals, Domestic and International. Concourse E serves domestic and international flights. It has 29 gates. Concourses E and F, which are part of the same building as the International Terminal, are the only two concourses at Hartsfield to serve international flights. Strangely, this concourse seems to be missing Gates E13 and E19 through E25. Anyone know what's up with that? Unlike most of Hartsfield's concourses, Concourse E has a north-south hallway and an east-west hallway. Together, they form a T shape. Concourses T and A through D are straight shots, north to south. There are five main sets of restrooms, equally spread out. For as much volume as this concourse and airport see (this is the world's busiest airport), the restrooms are as clean as one could reasonably expect. I like the green/red lights above the toilet stalls to let you know if a stall is occupied. There are touchscreens on your way out where you can provide feedback to airport staff to let them know how they're doing with the restrooms. It's nice that they cared enough to add that feature. Concourse E, and the Atlanta airport in general, have received facelifts over the years. It looks nicer than it used to. These days, the concourse looks brighter, cleaner, and more modern with touches like digital displays, containing flight information, beneath each gate sign along the walkway. Concourse E used to handle all of Hartsfield's international flights until the "new" Concourse F and International Terminal opened in May 2012. Aesthetically speaking, Concourses A through E and T are relatively boring and literally straightforward. Like most of the rest of Hartsfield (https://www.yelp.com/biz/hartsfield-jackson-atlanta-international-airport-atl-atlanta-2), the concourse functions well and gets the job done, but it's not particularly impressive or memorable from a visual perspective, especially when you compare it to other major airports around the world. Concourse F is a different story. In Atlanta, Concourses E and F are the only concourses that have duty free shops. One of my favorite brands, Brooks Brothers, has a shop in Concourse E near Gate E26 (https://www.yelp.com/biz/brooks-brothers-atlanta-10). Concourse E is also home to the airport's best restaurant, One Flew South (https://www.yelp.com/biz/one-flew-south-atlanta). If you have time to kill, a preflight meal at One Flew South is the way to go. It's an "upscale" restaurant that serves New American cuisine and sushi. It's some of the best airport food I've had. For locals, I recommend arriving to the airport extra early and starting your vacation off right with a meal at One Flew South. Just take the Plane Train to Concourse E. The restaurant is centrally located at the top of the escalators. Pro tip: If you're leaving the airport via rideshare (e.g. Lyft, Uber) and have no checked baggage, consider exiting the airport at Concourse F / the International Terminal. There's a rideshare pickup point there that is a shorter walk, faster, less congested and more convenient than those at the Domestic Terminal. read more

This terminal is the international departure and arrival at ATL. The baggage claim for international arrivals is next door at Concourse F. The picture is a wonderful display of lunchboxes here that makes many people reminisce about their childhood and which one they had during their childhood. Lights seem to be brighter, and the concourse is quieter than the others at ATL. read more

This airport has it twisted with the process. Their length of distance for passengers is ridiculous. No tissue paper in any restroom, no drinks anywhere within 440 yards, is insane. I found a local novelty shop and the attendant was too fat to get up and answer my question.. Instead she grunted at me. Dirty facility and carefree attitude of employees. A lot of different terminals at Hartsfield has different offerings. This terminal has a bunch of different places to grab some grub if you have time. I did notice they had a Panda Express as well as others. However I didn't have time to get any grub because I always play it close when I get to the airport. I will get there an hour and fifteen minutes early. Going through TSA and especially on a holiday wasn't bad at all. I got through TSA within 22 minutes. Now I have 40 minutes to spare. 40 minutes where I don't want to wait. So for this concourse I walked the entire distance without taking a train. It took me 30 minutes. By the time I got to my gate, they were going to board within 5 minutes. So if I had known what was there at that concourse, I probably would have taken the train. However I did already have a 32oz protein shake already. So word to the wise, if you just want to kill some time, just walk to your concourse and get some heart healthy exercise in. I do it all of the time. The only time I don't is when I only have 30 minutes or less to spare, then I will hop on the train. read more

Terminal E Delta flight has the rudest and unhelpful staff ever. They closed the doors early on our flight and didn't even have the courtesy to call our names. This is my first and last time I will fly with delta. We had to change planes and get from the front part of the airport to the other side. On our vacation to the Dominican. We had to spend the night in the airport until the next flight @9. We had to walk all over to find blankets because he was cold. Again no one would help or be accommodating. Nice big comfortable seats with cell charging stations also the food court is straight down the terminal. Lots of bathrooms I like that the seats are spread out so your not on top of each other. Clean too with nice art work. It is along walk from one end to the other. read more
