Customer service is horrible. I have gotten 3 texts messages from 3 different people about the day & time for our annual inspection. First text was for yesterday between 3 & 5 so I arrange my schedule to be home then (no prior phone call to ask if that day/time is ok), then I get a text at 3 pm from another tech saying he will be here today from 3 to 5, then I get a 3rd text from a different technician advising he will be at my home in 11 minutes at 11:00 am. Fortunately I was home though just about to leave. I tried calling the local office to find out what is going on but got a general customer service number that couldn't answer any questions or give me the branch manager's name & number. We've paid for this year but we're done - I don't appreciate these last minute changes via texts. Terminix use the phone & call your customer especially when something changes! read more

Been with Terminix since 2001 for my termite bond it's gone up a little each year last year it was 330 this year still no termites and jumped to 999....... What I called them lady said eastern states have Termites bad this year still I repeat I HAVEN'T HAD ANY..Guess they expect me to pay for other peoples damage not going to happen very unhappy read more

We have had our termite bond through Terminix for three years now, and the price has always been $200 a year to renew. This year, however, when we received our renewal letter, I was shocked to see that the price had skyrocketed to $500. We haven't even had any termites! There was no justifiable reason for such a drastic increase in price given that the protection offered is shady at best in the first place. Needless to say, we're going with a different pest control service this year. I've already found one for $330/year, and they check your house three times a year instead of only once. read more

For the past 15 years I've paid about $300/yr for TERMINIX termite coverage. I get this renewal notice today for $2500. They obviously want to all their customers to dump them. read more

Termite bond over 25 years (20 years prior to that with previous owners) and my bill quadrupled - yes - four times what I've been paying. They have no local number, the number you are forced to call is of course overseas and they cannot help. Were supposed to call me back within 48 hours, but they have not. The foreign "assistance" stated that the price cannot be reduced for any reason, and that they have no local numbers to give customers. So.....four times the price with no way to speak to the local office? Why would I renew with them??? read more

I did not receive a freebee for writing this review. My story is like the others. Had Guardian since 2003, they were acquired by Terminix, first year pricing was same as Guardian, next year jumped to $150, then this (2019) year $999. Wow, the most I have seen was an annual inspection. I will find another provider. Customer service is poor, first inspection (2017) they did not show or attempt to contact me when they could not make the appt. I had to schedule another day off to complete the first inspection, and no apology from the provider, just a mix-up on their end. :( read more

This entire organization is as crooked as they come.... Move over Mafia, these guys are "the best" shakedown artists around. First of all they think that NO ONE else can take care of termite damage.... Let me tell you how it goes down when you call them.... First they do a FAKE inspection - it takes about five minutes to walk around the house ( didn't even check my basement or attic)... And then the agent will walk into the kitchen and declare "this house is clean".... Then they slap you across the face with an estimate bond price..... $1,900!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I laughed and said "That isn't going to happen...." He "acted" like he was doing calculations and said "I can give you a deal - ONLY for today!" "How about $1,300?..... I knew he was a crook and that I wasn't EVER going to pay above $500... So, to be nice I said "Let me think it over and talk to my wife about spending that kind of money". (knowing in my head I was DONE with this asshole).... Then he has the NERVE to say "Can you call her now because I can't give you this deal much longer".... I then lost my humility and demeanor saying quite loudly "Get OUT!!!!" He looked shocked and then had the nerve to laugh when I slammed the door in his face.... I now have a new bond through Cooks for $289 ...... So, STICK IT Terminex! And you cannot get in touch anyone to complain about their employees.... They transfer you to other states and will not connect you with local offices because they receive so many complaints.... I hope it was worth it Terminex!! I will make it my passion to help other potential customers see the light for the rest of my life!!!! read more
