I have been a Terminix customer for approximately 20 years. I had my quarterly service a few weeks back, and the Technician suggested to get a free termite inspection. The tech scheduled me for 6/23/25 between the hours of 3pm and 5pm. A few days earlier, I received a text from Angel, the guy doing the termite inspection. He asked if he could come a week earlier, June 16th between 3pm to 5p. I told him that would be fine, and he confirmed the date change and time. I left work earlier on the June 16th and the tech never showed up or texted me advising he was no longer coming. A few days later. I received another text saying they scheduled the termite inspection on June 23rd. I acknowledged the text and confirmed the new date and time. Again no one showed up and I had to leave work early. On Monday June 23rd I contacted the local branch (West Berlin) to speak with a manager. The lady I spoke with said Richard Leatherman the branch manager will respond within 48 hours. Of course no one called back. I called again on June 25th and they advised Richard was notified via email but still no call back. I was very pleased with my service until now. I had to leave work early both days to accommodate the inspection and no one showed up on both days. Not to mention I am still waiting from Richard Leatherman the branch manager to call me back. Looking at other comments I see a trend that they don't show up on the date they say. I am very dissatisfied with Terminix. read more

When I first signed up I had a positive experience with Terminix. However, over the past year things have soured. They do not show up for scheduled appointments 50% of the time. I had an appt for today from 1-3pm and it was rescheduled for June 26th without my knowledge or consent. I stayed home from work in order to accommodate this appointment. Now I am told I have to wait 48 hours for the District Manager Rob Byer to call me back. So disappointing and frustrating. read more

stay away from terminix ! hire a professionals ! they came from west berlin nj branch for an inspection to my house amd they said there are no termites . right after the inspection i found termites !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i did complaint to the west berlin nj branch manager but he ignored me. then i requested the regional manager contact me regarding all that mess but the regional manager ignored me ,too. they cant detect termites! and they will not care about your problems and complaints and they will ignore you . so, save your time and your house and hire a different company . read more

I have had nothing but awful experiences with this company. The complaint I had was an ant infestation. I initially tried to solve the problem myself, but after finding ants in my master bathroom, I decided to use this company. After paying the $191 through a debit card online to schedule an initial appointment, a technician showed up. He sprayed the house and put gel bait down. He stated that if my problem persisted within 10 days, to call and schedule a follow up appointment. When he left, he stated he needed to take a check as the company never charged my debit card.I wrote a check for $191 for this service. After realizing that my card and my check were cleared for that service, I called to ask for a refund. I was told I could not get a refund & I would be issued a credit. I spoke to a manager who stated he was not able to refund my card because it was a checking account. After that manager disconnected the call, I spoke to another representative who was able to refund the check back into my account. Ten days later, I needed to schedule a follow up appointment as now I am only seeing ants in my master shower. The appointment was scheduled for Friday the 18th between 9-11. However, no one showed up. At 1230, I called to get a confirmation if someone was coming to the house. The representative ended up rescheduling the appointment and assuring me that someone will be out on Monday to service the house. I will never recommend this company to anyone. They are unprofessional and a complete waste of time. read more

I had a technician come out on Thursday 5/26 to service my garage for squirrels getting in. He came out and sprayed foam and set traps. During the service he also noticed ants in the attic of the garage but he couldn't service fire them as he was only able to treat for rodents. When the service was complete he stated he would be back on Tuesday 5/30 to follow up for the squirrels and would also have someone out for the ants as well. I took off work to be at the horse that day and no one showed up. A few days later I reached out to the technician to follow up since I hadn't heard anything and was told he was super busy and would let his boss know. A few more days go by and still didn't hear anything. I then started trying to call the office to only get in touch with people in a regional office who said they would have someone from the West Berlin office contact me. Still haven't heard a thing. I spent over 1300 for a single service to just get left in the dust with no follow up communication. Go with another company. read more

Don't even bother using them. They charge you a high price for absolute garbage service and customer service. The scheduling people have no idea what the services entitle so they inform you incorrectly. Our service tech arrived on our first initial appointment, only to tell us we had to leave for 4 hours, which we were not informed of and couldn't get our pets out of the house in time after he had shown up. So he rescheduled the appointment for Sat 8-10AM. Then on Saturday, after getting our pets all in kennels and ready to leave by 8AM, I called to find out when my appointment was after 9AM to be told it was 10-12AM. Then when I tried to tell them that it was scheduled for 8-10, and tell them that there was a promotion for my service for $99, they pretended to not be able to hear me and then soon enough ended up just ending the call. So now our cats have been in carriers for over 2 hours already. 12:10 the tech finally shows up late, after our cats had been in carriers for 4 hours, anticipating we had to be out of the house for another 4 hours, so now I'm already frustrated. Come to find out that THIS tech, a different one, said we only had to be out for an hour, which wasn't too bad of course but the information that each individual working there gives you doesn't match anything that another gives you. So this tech goes inside and literally just sprays the floor, absolutely nothing else. Took him less than 5 minutes and we were paying over $150 for this initial service that was supposed to be exterior and interior. Extremely dissatisfied and aggravated, and I am not paying them a single dime for this crap service. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. Still waiting on this business to refund me $1,000. I was told it would take 3-5 business days but here we are over a month later with no refund. We prepaid for services that were never completed and decided to cancel after the third time they did a no call/no show after I took off of work to accommodate the appointment. I've called probably 10 times at this point, spoke to "management" and was promised that someone would call me back. I'm still waiting on that call. To make matters more comical, after cancelling the services due to them not showing up for appointments then they randomly called me to let me know they were coming. They still don't have the story straight. I was told yesterday someone would call me back and nobody did. I'm not sure what I have to do to get this matter resolved! i has this product installed in my house on friday march 2nd 2018 a rep came out wed feb 28th 2018 for an inspection of the house at the time my appointment was 3 to 5 the rep did not come until well after 6pm this is only after i called at 5 to find out what was going on. when the rep came i informed him that my main concern was mice that i had in my basement. An appointment was set for friday march 2nd. the appointment time was 8 to 12 again the rep was late i called at 915 to find out what time the rep would be coming i was told that they would have to find a rep for me and they would inform me when he would be here. i then received a call saying the rep would be there around 10. the rep then laid wooden mice traps 1 bait station and glue pads. and 2 termite stations and sprayed. i called on saturday because i was not satisfied with traps that were laid i was told that the next appointment would be 1 week from then. on Sunday i once again called to cancel my service the lady was very combative and told me that i was not playing for just mice control but mostly termite, i informed her that my main concern was mice not termites and that i was not happy with how i was being treated and talked to . i was told that a manager would contact me in 24 to 48 hours. after hanging up i called the local number on my contract to again express my concerns about how i was being treated as well as how the lady was talking to me and the lack of professionalism i was told that this would be escalated and again a manger would be calling me in 24 to 48 hrs. today is not Thursday march 8th at 12:11 i again called to say that i have not received a call from a manager in regards to my canceling services. i was told that the manager is in a meeting and they would call me i then asked if i could talk to a manager in that department and was told that the manager was on lunch. Even after being assured yet again that one of 3 managers would be in touch with me today March 8th 2018 i have yet to hear from anyone. the professionalism is horrible at this company i have sent a letter to the bbb and am extremely disappointed with how i am being treated read more

Did not do a return time of 24 hours they told me give it 7-10 days but fleas have 40 eggs at a time every two days so you see the issue there I would have had a infestation by then I called three times and no body called but when I removed their payment from my card a specialist called me ! The most unprofessional experience ever. Scheduled initial inspection for Friday, inspector was a no show, when we call to follow-up we received a callback from the inspector advising that he had our appointment scheduled for Saturday. Mistakes happen, so we thought, and we provided a second opportunity for Terminix to prove itself. Appointment went well on Saturday so we decide to purchase the preventive program. Our initial appointment was scheduled for Monday 2-4pm, again Tech is a no show. We follow up with the inspector who scheduled the appointment, who quickly responded he would reach out to the technician and would give us a call back. An hour later no callback. We call the call center to find out the initial 2-4 appointment was never scheduled by the inspector. There is also no easy way to contact the Branch Manager nor corporate to try and get resolution. Needless to say we are taking our business elsewhere. read more
