When the responding officers confirmed that his ID was completely valid, the employee's response was, "So you're not going to do anything?" Even after being proven wrong, she still appeared determined to have a paying customer arrested. That was honestly the most shocking part of the entire experience. Mistakes can happen, especially with different forms of identification such as enhanced driver's licenses. However, there is a significant difference between asking questions or involving a manager and immediately calling law enforcement while falsely accusing a customer of using a fake ID. He was treated like a criminal over a legitimate ID, and it was embarrassing, unnecessary, and completely avoidable. This experience reflects a serious lack of training, professionalism, and customer service. There are too many dispensaries with knowledgeable, respectful staff to tolerate being treated this way. We will be taking our business elsewhere, and I will no longer be recommending The Flowery to friends or family.
