I love how to the tour guides take the time to learn everyone's names. While you're on the edge, the tour guides point out landmarks and explain some history. The guides pose you for individual and group photos. This was very exciting for me, but I wouldn't do it again just because I don't need to. If a friend was paying for my second trip I'd definitely do it though!

We were a bit skeptical of how it would measure up, because it's in a much smaller unit, but we turned out pleasantly impressed. The one obvious improvement is that it's newer than the old facility, but it's been a few years since they moved. Yet, it is still very fresh and clean. We booked our tickets online prior to going, as recommended on their website, to avoid any wait behind others to get started. Sure enough, we only had to wait a couple of minutes once we arrived to get started. In the meantime, we wandered among the arcade amusements you can enjoy. You can purchase ticket packages in bulk if you want to enjoy the arcade machines and games in lieu of or in addition to your mini golf experience. We were handed out putters and able to choose what colour glow-in-dark ball we wanted. We were able to begin right away. Throughout the entire 18 holes, we rarely had to worry about waiting on people ahead of us, or causing delay to anyone behind. It wasn't perfect, but it was a testament to how well they manage to stagger entrants. All of the holes were different, in terms of layout and paint design. Everything was aesthetically pleasing. The challenge level was a good medium so that you don't want to scream with frustration, but not so easy as to make it absolutely boring. I'd say we spent maybe 90 minutes or so in total to complete the course. We were asked if we'd like to have a scorecard to keep track, which we did. It wasn't always easy keeping up, moving along, and writing scores on the fly, but it made it a little more fun to keep the competitive streak running. We dropped our putters off before exiting the course and were done. It was a great family activity, which I'd recommend with any group you might want to play with. They also offer party packages, with a full sized party area to accommodate a celebratory meal. We'll definitely return every so often for a fun, family experience.

The other issue was that they didn't space the groups up enough so we spent a lot of time waiting in line for the next hole, and there's not much room so you feel like you're in the way of the course. However, we did get very wet and some of the wooden obstacles were quite slippery. I would definitely recommend wearing the right clothes! Wearing grippy running shoes helped get through the obstacle course - even in the rain. And the long pants and long sleeve hiking jacket kept me from getting rope burns. It was overall a good time and would definitely recommend it to other people. The only thing is, we were only able to get through 4/6 courses with a short break in between because we were a bit more cautious than other groups. It took us 4 hours so we ended up getting kicked out in the end because it was only supposed to take 3 hours. I wish they had let us stay a bit longer. 6 courses in 3 hours would only be possible for people who are already quite athletic I think. Otherwise staff were friendly, the orientation at the beginning was helpful, and the snacks are a really good price. I think it was less than $3 for a mini can of Pringles or a small bag of chip nuts. There's also water and popsicles available too. Washrooms weren't the cleanest but I wouldn't expect them to be in an outdoorsy place like this.

Since it was winter make sure to enter the inside facilities to see more. The restrooms were warm and clean! They even had a way to call if a restroom needed service. For three adults it was about $96 CAD. We spent probably two hours there and saw almost everything. Although we went on a weekend, it wasn't very crowded (likely due to the cold). There is something for everyone. For my infant daughter is lulled her into a deep sleep. For my son, it gave him lots of fun adventures and for the adults, I wish they has a spa that incorporated some of those elements (that's how relaxed I felt). He then led me to a game and let me know how to use the bracelet. When you find a game that interests you, you tap the Enter button on the touchscreen and then scan your bracelet on the GoToTags scanner. I played these games: - Basket: I chose the game where you shoot at the green backlit basket. If you shoot at the red one, you lose a life. I enjoyed this game a ton. - BallToss: You have inflated balls that you toss through green-lit rectangles. If you throw them through red rectangles, you lose a life. I didn't like this game because I lost two lives right off the bat and I didn't even throw balls through red rectangles. I didn't get it! - C-Target: You use a laser gun to hit circular marks. I liked that there were chairs if you needed to sit down to play this game or just take a breather. I did fine shooting at targets, but I wasn't sure how I was doing until I ran out of ammunition. It was okay. - Seashells: You run around the room listening to sounds that each seashell was producing. You have to weed out the sound that doesn't belong. I loved this game so much. It was fun and a bit tricky as I moved up each level. - Pizza Delivery: You have to take a pizza box with a specific pizza order and place it in front of a door. I didn't get this game. The buttons were confusing and there needed to be more instructions at the pizza box station. - Hexa Quest: I chose the game where you get two targets and you have to hit them with small red balls. You need to hit each pair of targets before time runs out. I played this game twice. It was awesome. I successfully got through all five rounds twice. My favourite games in the order in which I played them: - Basket - Seashells - Hexa Quest I read the experiences from a few Yelpers who said that this place is for kids and that the games are boring for adults. I respectfully disagree. The minimum age is seven years old according to PIxel Pulse's site. If I were my seven-year-old self, I'd have a difficult time shooting baskets, as the hoops were high up. I was a tall kid, so my saying that I wouldn't do well speaks volumes. Maybe if a parent lifted me up, I'd fare better as a kid. Folks who felt that these games were boring likely didn't find games that matched their skillset. I do well at throwing games, which explains why I liked shooting balls in basketball hoops and tossing red balls at targets. I also have decent hearing skills. It's why I ended up having three favourite games that I played more than once. I found the washrooms towards the back to the gaming area. There are two single stalls. The one that I used was exceptionally clean. You lock the door with the red button when you're inside the stall, and use the square button to unlock and open the door.
