From the very beginning, I clearly communicated my situation to the property manager, Brittany, by email. She instructed me to provide a letter from the Army, saying the company would review it and potentially relieve me from termination penalties. I submitted the letter, only to be told it was insufficient. Brittany then referred me to Melissa, who told me over the phone exactly what additional information was needed. I went through the expense and hassle of translating, notarizing, and revising the letter exactly as instructed. After waiting days, I was abruptly informed my documentation would not be accepted simply because my husband serves in the Israeli Army rather than the U.S. Army--a fact they knew from the very beginning. Instead of being upfront, they misled me into wasting time and money, making me believe compliance would resolve the matter. To make things worse, Melissa ignored my emails and calls entirely. I had to send multiple follow-ups just to get a partial response from Jamie, while Brittany also stopped replying. This is the type of customer service they provide--unprofessional, unresponsive, and dishonest. I was transparent from the start, but Primrose and Olympus Property were not. Their lack of accountability has caused me unnecessary frustration and hardship. I would never recommend doing business with them.

I have lived in a lot of apartments and houses and I can easily say this has to have been the worst…read moreexperience thus far. So bad, I planned to leave early. I have a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment. Things constantly break here and management has been awful. They're pretty slow to respond back to emails and calls. But also, I've never had someone in charge of a complex pop an attitude with me so intensely, I hung up the phone. But apparently that's normal here? With the exception of Anna. She was lovely. 10/10 on her courtesy. Everyone else is horrible to deal with though. That's why they have you meet her first. Please keep in mind too, If you move here, you're going to pay a lot of money but don't expect a lot for it. For starters, the apartment complex is next to some kind of plant that releases a smell that can make you vomit. It's like someone pooped across the property and if you open your windows or your car doors too long, the smell will fill the area and linger. It's horrendous. That alone would make me want to move. However, the appliances have caused me a lot of problems. Like my air conditioning, heating. It broke numerous times over the summer and now it's cold, my heat doesn't work without setting off the fire alarms. Maintenance always comes and "fixes" things just for them to break shortly later. My dish washer's liner came out twice and the sink water sealer broke within a week of living here. You'll need to expect to pay $25 for trash valet but you're limited as to when you can put trash out and the amount + type of trash that's taken. They will charge you if this is done incorrectly and not immediately taken care of after a notice. They will also charge you for the package locker room. There's not really another option, but if you go out of town and receive mail during your time away, they will return it to the sender within a few days. You might as well just get a P.O. Box if you plan to not be home for more than 4 days at a time. Terrible place to live if you travel often for work or pleasure. On top of that, I have never been spoken to by anyone in the community aside from being told I'm at the pool late (it was still an hour till they closed) and a lady telling me to get out of her parking spot, despite that there are no assigned spots. I also was signing my lease when they let me know that I would be on the 3rd floor with no elevator and if I wanted one with an elevator, I'd need to wait a longer time than I already had. Also please keep in mind there's no smoking on the property. Living here is great incentive to quit nicotine and hopefully you don't need a medical card. The list goes on but all in all, I can say I hated this place and I would never recommend it to anyone. It's pretty, yes. But you can get so much more for so much less down the street. Save yourself the headaches and maybe some money by skipping this one. I wish I would've.

This is in addition to a wide variety of social activities provided at the clubhouse by management during the entire year. The complex has a reliable and very capable 24/7 on site courtesy officer and a gated entrance for security. An outstanding responsive maintenance department is also greatly appreciated. My wife and I reside in a 2 bedroom unit that is very spacious and smartly designed giving my visitors privacy with their own full bath adjoining the guest room far apart from the master. My wife loves the spacious kitchen, it's stainless steel appliances and lots of cabinet space. Our outdoor views are all natural and wooded which we love. Lastly and probably most importantly is the always kind, competent and hard working management team that without their consistent efforts, the Sanctuary wouldn't be what it is. And that is a true community feel, that helps to create new friendships, a beautiful well maintained environment and much much more. As with everything in business, all good things and success starts at the top. The Sanctuary has an outstanding management team making it a great place to live. Sincerely Frank and Jing

The property is clean, and very well kept. For the past 3 years, they're very consistent with yearly inspections! This is by far, the best apartment complex we've lived in! Never really had an issue while living in here except maybe some dog owners are very lazy and not picking up after their pets despite the fact that the property has several pet waste station! They have a very decent trail where you can enjoy morning or evening walks. We felt very safe here over the last three years, we're only leaving due to job relocation. Highly recommend this to everyone!!!

I certainly did not anticipate living in an apartment surrounded by short term rentals. Such a bummer. If you have ever lived in a short term rental community you know the downfalls. Amplify those downfalls when you share walls, ceilings, floors, elevators, pool, gym etc. Beware because the leasing office will likely not advertise that they turned dozens of the units into short term rentals, and will not tell you which units are included in their short term rental program. Paying a premium price to share walls with short term rentals is a hard pill to swallow.

The biggest issue is the management and upkeep of the property. The grounds have been poorly maintained for months -- overflowing trash cans, dog waste throughout the property, and inconsistent lawn maintenance. Residents are charged for services like lawn care and pest control, yet those services often appear neglected or nonexistent. Management selectively enforces rules depending on who is complaining. Residents are restricted over minor things, while larger issues throughout the community are ignored. Amenities are frequently used by non-residents, and security/enforcement feels almost nonexistent. The maintenance staff spends more time driving around in golf carts than addressing resident concerns, and getting real issues resolved is frustratingly difficult. Communication from management is disorganized, especially regarding garage and storage rentals. Multiple residents have openly discussed inconsistencies with leased spaces and billing. Another major concern is the tenant screening and overall decline in the community atmosphere. Police are regularly called to the property, and many long-term paying residents have chosen to leave because management seems more interested in filling units than maintaining a safe, clean, and respectful environment. The most disappointing part is that Saltaire markets itself as a luxury community, but the reality falls far short. If you are relocating, building a home, or looking for a peaceful apartment experience, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Who has a position in a leasing office that would not be expected to call a resident or former resident back and address their concerns/questions, isn't that their job?! Where is the customer service or accountability, this is unacceptable and I believe it's a scam. I find it interesting they warn you that you need to patch nail holes but even when you do as is expected they still charge $200. I think we had a total of 6 in the entire space all were taken care of as instructed, refer to photos below, this unit looks move in ready versus damaged and needed extensive repair! An active duty military person lived here that was gone 2 weeks out of every month with no pets and he owes $600? Maybe they aren't calling back because they can't explain why?! The buildings are so dirty, windows, siding, sidewalks, stairwell and halls smell like garbage. The pool is closed often, the gym was closed for a month, mult machines are broken and not safe, a piece broke off and hit him on the face, no one cares!
