I'm going to out myself here because I think it is important to raise awareness. When I would see someone without teeth I would in my head assume drugs. For everyone's sake, please don't be judgemental like I was. On April 9th I was scheduled for a full mouth extraction with immediate temps. This has been a mental and I mean extremely emotional journey. To this day I've still not come to terms with it because it does hurt to be "young" with dentures. I've cried so much because I looked like I was from whoville. With no top lip really to begin with I talked to Anjee and had lip filler just because I wanted "my smile" I'm not here for "I'm sorry's" I'm here this morning to show the raw truth of what a judgemental soul such as I was can perceive things. My shameful ways of thinking about others with dental problems. So God gracefully humbled me and I'm here to tell my story. No drugs. Am I ashamed? Staff is incredibly helpful and upbeat; Mr. Tony and his text specials - it's like he's a mind reader I swear. They also offer IV injections, i just found out. I used to go to to a different place in Clarksville for those last year; it was a good way for this old Veteran to help get more vitamins in.
