When I contacted them, they admitted that during the roadside call they relied on the tire size provided by my renter, who had simply read the size from another tire. That is exactly the problem. Why is a professional tire company relying solely on a customer's word instead of verifying that the tire being installed is actually appropriate for the vehicle? Their own response to me was: "We can't put a wrong size tire because the tire can blow out!" Yet when I asked them to correct the tire they installed, suddenly their position was that the customer signed the invoice and "all jobs are final." I wasn't demanding hundreds of dollars. I found the appropriate replacement for under $100 and asked them simply to replace the ONE tire they installed. They refused. Mistakes happen. Refusing to take responsibility after a potential safety-related mistake is brought to your attention is a choice. I would absolutely NOT trust this company with my RV tires again. If you use them, verify the tire specifications yourself BEFORE they install anything--and apparently before you sign anything, because afterward their answer may simply be: "All jobs are final." One star. Would not recommend. If there is zero star review , that is my strongest consideration.

We called AAA and the Salinas Tow company numerous times to see what was going on. The dispatcher told us it would leave the tow yard at 2:30 PM When the next driver clocked in. My question is, then why take the tow, if you can't provide the service in a timely matter? She was very rude and defensive. I got another call from the dealership that the car never arrived and they will be closing soon, and my car could stay out in the unsecured parking lot. And the dealership would not be liable for loss, stolen, or damage to our car. Turns out our car was towed to the wrong dealership! My goodness this Salinas Tow company is very unprofessional, now my car is down the entire weekend for a 2-hour job! And a 30-minute tow. Do Not use Salinas Tow for any services. I was forced to use Auto Care Towing after a one-car accident, and the experience was awful from…read morestart to finish. My vehicle was taken to their Watsonville/Royal Oaks yard, and dealing with both the office staff and the tow yard attendant was unnecessarily stressful and hostile. I paid $1,500 to retrieve my vehicle, yet once on site, the yard attendant refused to give me his name, acted aggressively, and attempted to prevent me from leaving with my car after it had already been fully paid for. He became confrontational, behaved in an intimidating manner, and even tried closing the gate while I was inside the yard. I felt genuinely unsafe during this interaction and simply wanted to back my car out while waiting for another tow, but I was still denied access. While dealing with this unprofessional behavior at the yard, I had to call their office again. I needed my car towed to a tire shop and literally had to call their office three times before anyone was finally dispatched. Each time I called, I was told it would "only take about 20 minutes," which was repeatedly not true. It wasn't until that third call, while the situation was actively escalating at the yard, that they finally seemed to take the situation seriously. Once we were finally on the road, the tow truck driver followed behind me. During the drive, I received a call from a random office staff member telling me that I should have paid for the tow before leaving the yard and that my car would not be delivered to the destination until payment was made. This was never communicated beforehand. I pulled over to the side of the road, spoke directly with the tow truck driver, and explained the call I had just received. I asked whether I should pay immediately or upon arrival. He confirmed that paying at the destination was fine and that this was customary. The conflicting information and unnecessary call added yet another layer of stress to an already chaotic experience. The entire interaction was recorded, and I will be sharing the footage with my large local social media following so others are aware of how customers are treated here. Accidents are stressful enough. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. I strongly recommend avoiding Auto Care Towing if you have any other option.
