We cannot say enough amazing things about TerrAdorna and getting to work with Tom and Dory (the owners) and Sarah (the venue's coordinator). They went out of their way to make sure that we had an incredible experience. First: the venue. It's close to Austin but far enough away that you can feel the wide open space. The outdoor patio is a perfect ceremony spot, and the interior is bright and airy. There were dozens of unique spaces, inside and out, that make for amazing photos or fun details to comment on. They've really thought of everything, and it shows. Our guests could not stop talking about how cool the space was. Second: TerrAdorna provides a day-of coordinator that will work with vendors and handle the day-of logistics. We would never have been willing to hire a planner or coordinator on our own ("oh, we can do it, it's fine") and it's the kind of mistake you don't realize until it's too late, so we are so, so happy we had Sarah working with us. She was really helpful in pointing out some details we hadn't thought about when we met a few weeks before the wedding, was great in answering questions, did some awesome decorating tweaks the day of, and handled several minor mishaps with grace and charm. Third and most importantly: working with Tom and Dory. Much as we loved the venue itself, it was meeting Tom and Dory that made our decision clear. They were so lovely to talk to, and were genuinely interested in us and the plans we had for the wedding. Our wedding ended up being postponed twice thanks to the pandemic, so we had three years of communication before we were actually able to come for the wedding, and they were always so helpful in answering my (numerous) questions. We asked Tom to be our officiant, and it was great to see Dory during the reception as well - it just seemed right that they should be part of the day too. My husband and I got married here last weekend and everything was perfect! TerrAdorna is located on a surprising ridge in Manor that has beautiful views. The space is so unique, it was difficult finding a venue that was not so "rustic" in its charms here in central Texas. Tom and Dory were awesome to work with and obviously show so much care in owning this venue. I was so sad when the day was over knowing I probably wouldn't go back to TerrAdorna for a while. TerrAdorna is one of our favorite venues to photograph. It's simple but stylish, spacious but still intimate, and has the perfect combination of beautiful interiors and lush natural grounds. There are so many options for photos we never run out of ideas. The interior is a pretty blank slate that can look great with even the barest of decoration. Outside, beautiful landscaping and lush grass greets guests most all seasons of the year. The view from the ceremony is beautiful, and you can be blessed with wonderful Texas sunsets. The bridal getting ready area is considerably large, which is perfect for large bridal parties. There is a lot of natural light and it's a very comfortable space. (We've never had issues with temperature here, which is not the same for other venues. It is well air-conditioned.) We've never heard any of our clients say a bad thing about TerrAdorna. We always love shooting there, and the owners are very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended. read more

Choosing TerrAdorna was something we were as sure of as, as we were in choosing to spend the rest of our lives together. We wanted to find a place a short distance on the outskirts of Austin with a view that also offered additional items (tables, linens, decor, etc). Other vendors offered inclusive packages, but they were way out of our budget . While TerrAdorna is not cheap, it is a significant deal compared to other venues, and comes with a great deal of "extras" (tables and tablecloths, day of coordinator etc,) They also offered many extra add ons that helped contribute to the wedding we've always dreamed of. Dory and Tom had amazing referrals for a florist, caterer, bartend service and Tom offers officiating services as well! We went with their recommended vendors and with Tom. Everything was absolutely perfect. Tom was incredible in working with us to perfect our vows and Dory was engaged the entire process to ensure we had the perfect day. It was perfect. Can not say enough good things about TerrAdorna! We chose the venue over two years ago and each time I visited I fell more and more in love with the beautiful eclectic barn, calming and lush pond and breathtaking view of the hill country. Tom and Dory will make you feel truly at home and I've seen that place reimagined time and time again for each event. TerrAdorna is a little piece of Heaven! We were recently wed 5/17/14 on a beautiful Saturday Evening. We initially found this venue by chance but knew it was the place for us as soon as we visited. While the inside building is modern and unique, the outside is a hill country dream. The owner lives right next door so they are available for any issues or concerns. Not only is there a spacious upstair Bride's room, including a bed, shower and amazing views, but there is also a separate Groom's cabin located out front also including a bed and shower. We had a full 24 hours at the venue, arriving at noon the day of and staying until noon the next day. Having the option to spend the night, waking up to a beautiful sunset was more than I could ask for. We also used their recommended wedding coordinator and catering, making the event top notch. Dory also does her own flowers and I was almost knocked off my feet when I saw the arrangements and bouquet she made for us. All our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful and amazing the scenery was and how the venue really captured our personality and style. Everything turned out much better than I could have imagined. I recommend this venue to everyone! read more

I will start this review by saying that Tom & Dory, the owners of TerrAdorna, are nice people, quick to respond/communicate, and TerrAdorna itself is absolutely beautiful. It is obvious that the land and venue are well-loved and well-maintained. I cannot, however, in good conscience, leave a glowing review of my experience with this venue for my wedding. I genuinely hope (and believe) that my bad experiences were an anomaly, but I would like to leave this review so that future brides have the whole picture when searching for their venues in the Austin area. My wedding day was perfect, but when the majority of your budget is going towards your venue, I believe 50% of the experience is how happy you are the day-of and 50% of the experience is also whether or not this venue and its owners do all they can to settle your anxieties leading up to your big day...which they did not. If you are bride who is planning your own wedding, this may not be the place for you. Almost every issues that came up was well communicated and re-solved from decor drop off to not having the table linens discussed. There was also issue with the timeline...TerrAdorna's contract states you have the venue until 12 midnight, when in reality your send off needs to be at 11pm to give them an entire HOUR to clean up! I do not think these things should have presented themselves as issues in the first place and definitely left me questioning leading up to the day of my wedding weather or not I did, in fact, pick the right place for us. Again, I sincerely hope that my experience was a fluke, and hope that other who use TerrAdorna have the wedding of their dreams free of any issues. read more

Terradorna was the first venue we visited when we were looking for venues, and after seeing a handful more venues around Austin we knew Terradorna was the complete package. Both Tom and Dory were easily accessible via phone and email throughout the process and responded quickly. They were very flexible with accommodating our requests, such as being able to drop off drinks/décor the day before on the rehearsal evening since there was no event that day, and being able to use the bridal suite earlier than planned due to my hairstylist wanting to ensure she could get through 7 updos that day. The scenery is stunning and there are so many good photo ops around the property. The landscaping around the property is so beautiful with blooming flowers and green foliage that not a lot of extra décor is needed, like some other venues we saw. We got married in April so not sure about other times of the year. Dory did our florals and did a great job. She made a beautiful arch with hanging flowers and the bouquets and centerpieces were one of a kind. Tom was our officiant and everything went very smoothly - he has a way of wording everything that just sounds fantastic..the first draft of our ceremony was perfect. With everything included with this venue (tables, linens, chairs, day of coordinator, speakers/lighting for the DJ) and how beautiful it is, it is well worth the value. Many of our guests and vendors were wowed and even said it was the best venue they had ever been to. read more

TerrAdorna exceeded all of my expectations. This venue has a beautiful, rustic but modern feel. It was the perfect fit to my shabby chic decor theme. I had a list of venues to visit when my husband and I were planning our wedding. TerrAdorna was the first and only visit I made. I was sold once I saw the beautiful outdoor landscaping, huge outdoor patio, whimsical fountain, and gorgeous barn for the reception. Dory and Tom made us feel like family. They were so accommodating and easy to work with. TerrAdorna had so many extras that many venues charge for that we couldn't miss the value. My husband and I got married at TerrAdorna in June, and we couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue. The scenery surrounding the venue, the beautiful native flowers in the landscaping, the reception "barn", the flexibility with vendors, and the owners, Tom and Dory, are what convinced us to choose TerrAdorna. Tom and Dory are lovely people, and really went above and beyond to help us make our wedding day memorable. They readily supplied suggestions about space usage, and created an absolutely beautiful overhead installation in the reception area with hanging vines and white flowers. We liked that it was close to Austin, and our room block hotel offered a shuttle service to TerrAdorna. TerrAdorna supplied and set up an arch, chairs, tables, and linens; this was important to us, as we did not want to have to rent. We loved that they supplied this basic framework, and we supplied the decorations and tableware. They are also flexible with which vendors you use (apart from bartenders, they have a list you select from) as long as there is the opportunity for communication in advance; we had Torchy's Tacos bring their truck out to TerrAdorna, which was great. We really liked that the reception area was large and open, like a barn, but as we aren't very rustic people, we appreciated that the aesthetic was more corrugated metal and glass and concrete on the inside. It was large enough to fit I think about 12 round tables and all of our guests, and still left plenty of room for dancing, including most of the audience learning a big group Irish ceili dance. TerrAdorna was one of the very first wedding venues we visited (we visited about 15 in total!) and we couldn't stop thinking about the views of the fields and hills at TerrAdorna, and also about how great Tom and Dory were, so it ended up being a very easy choice for us. Dory and Tom are the #1 reason you go with Terradorna. These two were 100% committed to us and our wedding. No call or email was too trivial and no request was above accommodation. Caterer wanted to meet Dory in person to talk about the layout for the food table? Done this Tuesday evening. We lost the contract? Scanned and emailed immediately. We need extra time to set up? There's no event the night before so we're welcome to come early for decoration. They were there every minute we needed them and were out of the way during the ceremony. We can't thank them enough for the perfect day. It isn't enough to say this place is beautiful. The venue is constantly being upgraded, improved, and generally invested in. We had a popular wedding date so we made sure to reserve our date two years (!) in advance. We fell in love with the venue as it was, but that didn't stop Dory and Tom from installing gorgeous stonework on the ceremony floor, improving the weather plan and patio coverage, and adding new, rustic lighting. The layout works wonders in keeping the crowd centralized, and remains as such no matter the weather. The weather plan is actually one the things that took Terradorna above and beyond the other locations we were considering. Rain, heat, wind, whatever; there's an answer and it doesn't much affect the party. The Bride and Groom rooms are truly A+ facilities. Both are spacious and have all the amenities you could ask for. Terradorna was a most crucial element in making our wedding the best it could be. read more

My hubby and I got married on 3.21.15. Unfortunately, that was not our original wedding date and we had to reschedule (was supposed to be 11.21.14). Dory and Tom were very flexible and work with us on rescheduling. The venue is clearly well thought out and has everything from an integrated speaker system to power outlets down by the terrace to decking with a great view to caterer prepping facilities and even a bridal suite should you decide to crash on site after the party. In addition to all of these things the venue supplies table, chairs and linens. Dory and Tom have added some weather proofing options to the awnings that expand the space in inclement weather, but if you are lucky enough to get a blue bird day then the venue is set up perfectly for an indoor/outdoor feeling by opening up all the garage type doors that run across two sides of the venue. When we rescheduled Dory and Tom had put a day of coordinator on contract as a part of the venue rental and extended this service to us even though it was not in our original contract. The wedding coordinator, Crystal, did a great job and really made the night go off without a hitch. There were numerous other little things that Dory and Tom did to make our day special and memorable, but theres just too many to mention. TerrAdorna is such a great value! The TerrAdorna venue is approximately 5-10 miles on the East side of manor and is on a back country road (which we loved), although this did make for some added travel for our guests since we got married in the church in downtown Austin. It's no further than any of the other venues on the West side of Austin, and once we saw the venue and what it had to offer, as well as the professionalism and helpfulness of Dory and Tom we had no doubt that we made the right decision. We had the most stunning, breathtaking, BEAUTIFUL, and unforgettable wedding at TerrAdorna on April 2, 2016. As a bride, everything was taken care of, from start to finish. There was no stress on my part in getting things done and making sure it was all run smoothly. Dory, one of the owners, is a huge blessing to have taken part in my wedding. She is so helpful and kind, always answering my questions very quickly and with grace. She did my flowers for my wedding and absolutely blew me away with them. Her husband, Tom, the other owner, was our officiant and did a fantastic job. He is also extremely easygoing and fun to be around, but still makes sure everything gets done exactly the way you've always dreamed of on your wedding day. I got so many comments from my guests on the view from TerrAdorna and how gorgeous it looked both at sunset and at night. My son and his wife were married at Terradorna in September of this year. Dory and Tom took a personal interest in making it the best day of their lives from the beginning. They made lots of helpful suggestions along the way, and their follow-through was great. My husband and I absolutely LOVED our wedding at TerrAdorna. Dory and Tom are a delight to work with and so so so helpful and accommodating. They were there even before we were on the day-of to help us setup our decor quickly and efficiently. The space is gorgeous. You've got so many options. We had our ceremony outside with the vista as the backdrop, but there's also a wonderful deck. The interior is where we held our reception and it was a good size for our wedding (~65 guests) with a dancefloor. A lot of our guests put the deck to good use in the nice Texas evening once the sun went down. The bridal suite is hands-down the best-lit, largest one I've ever seen. We had tons of room for all the beauty vendors and we were able to lounge and enjoy ourselves before the ceremony. My husband and his groomsmen had their own little cottage to get ready in which also served well as a place for family to hang out during our first look photos. Yes, this venue is a bit out of the way, but it's MORE than worth it for how cool and different and interesting it is!
