Book Barbara and Gerad now! I work in the wedding industry and I know the value of a planner but you really don't know what they do until you experience it first hand. Barbara comes with years of experience and knows this industry like the back of her hand. She guides you on vendors and will give you a realistic view of expectations. She was an advocate for me during our floral meeting. She got to know me ahead of time and what me and my fiancé like and don't like and our budget. During the floral meeting, she knew exactly what to ask for and how to articulate what we liked and didn't like. She saved us money just in that meeting alone! They made everything happen on wedding day and I had no clue when things were getting fixed (I messed up the seating chart and they used their resources and figured it out without bugging me during my hair and makeup). My family felt so much love from them and knew they could ask her questions or count on her to make things happen. Her company offers everything from limited service to full service and packages in between. I know there are so many wedding planners out there so you need to find the right one for you based on personality and experience. For me personally, I loved Barbara's years of experience and her ability to say no if it would not work and protect me. She was a mother figure for me and someone to really count on. I had a small wedding with no wedding party and my mom passed away, so her expertise and guidance and protection was perfect! Gerad on her team is amazing and a rockstar and so wonderful to work with. You would be lucky to have either of them as your planner for your wedding.

The Austin English Tea Company brings all of the aesthetics, ambiance, and flavors you'd expect in a proper British tea room. Spent a lovely Sunday Funday morning with friends celebrating Galentine's Day (albeit a day later) with fresh and yummy tea sandwiches, scones, clotted cream, mini, quiche, cream puffs, macarons, Prosecco, and more. We had four pots of tea: Classic English Breakfast, Earl Gray, Peach White, and Coconut Oolong. It goes without saying that the English Brekkie and Earl Gray were perfectly brewed and delicious. The Peach White and Coconut Oolong were also perfectly brewed. The Peach White was fragrant and flavorful. Same for the Coconut Oolong though it was more fragrant with a less robust flavor. Still delicious. The tea sandwiches were served on perfectly fresh and soft white bread. Cucumber and cream cheese sandwiches are always my favorite, without question. The Strawberry Devonshire Scone was to die for! I really enjoyed the heart-shaped Rosemary biscuit that had a hint of parmesean flavor as well. The apricot Stilton cheese was flavorful and exactly how you want a Stilton to taste. Service was outstanding. The decor was brilliant, absolute perfection. The entire experience was reminiscent of tea rooms I've visited in England and Ireland. Looking forward to another visit soon! Note: the tea room is located inside Michelle's Patisserie in a shopping plaza---once you enter the tea room you're totally transported to another time and place of elegance, tea, & sweets.

Got the Khuroos E Tursh - would recommend! The cream sauce was sweet and delicious. I LOVED the rice that came with the dishes - it already had some flavor and the texture was similar to Thai broken rice. Naan is a great value - 4 pieces for $5. Ordered the Jalapeño cream cheese naan and it had a generous portion of cream cheese inside. However it wasn't spicy which I was expecting - the jalapeño pieces just tasted like bell peppers but it needed a kick of spice. I would try the palak paneer naan next time instead. We were too full for dessert but the options sounded quite tasty. Something was cracked us up a bit was that their straws don't sit in the glasses well - they kept rising to the top of our waters Service was great but it just took a little time for them to set up our table after our reservation time.
