I should have posted this long ago but maybe time has proven that our decision to do a full crawlspace encapsulation with a dehumidifier and sump system was the right one. It's been a couple years and everything has been working perfectly. Right after we got it all done we had a massively heavy rainstorm and I was shocked to see water being pumped out after just ONE storm. The space is also now usable (storage and storing root vegetables) and healthy. Morgan, who oversaw the project and did the bid, was incredibly thorough and patient, answering far too many questions we had before we made our final decision. He get's 5 stars. The only reason I am not giving a 5-star rating here is because we were quoted a certain kind of insulation which wasn't initially installed. They did however come out and reinstall with the insulation we were quoted. As for price, it's costly, no getting around that but it was TO THE DOLLAR the same price as John's Waterproofing. "My" foreman Drew and his crew were well prepared and informed of the task at hand. They had quite a job in head of them and even though it was pouring down rain all but 1 day of the 4 they took to complete the job, they never once complained or gave me the feeling they wanted to be somewhere else. My foundation had cracked in several places and sunk 1 1/2 inches, which resulted in many many issues with my walls cracking, a broken window and doors not closing, they were able to secure my foundation using push piers down to bedrock and raised and leveled my house back to within 1/4 inch, without breaking any windows or causing new cracks in the walls. I now have peice of mind and feel safe in my home for the first time since I purchased it as a newly constructed house. I would and will recommend TerraFirma and this crew to anyone who needs this work done. read more

We just had our foundation repaired by Terra Firma out of Roseburg, OR. They did an exceptional job....went above and beyond what they had to do. One really nice surprise was that when they got into the job, they saw that one thing that was included in the estimate wasn't needed after all....they were up front and honest about it, letting us know, and reduced our bill by hundreds of dollars! One corner of our basement always flooded during heavy rains. Terrafirma installed a trench at the base of the wall and a sump pump. So far, so good. We haven t had any classic northwest downpours to really test the system yet, but those will come. The crew that installed the system did a great job working with the quirks of our old house. They were completely dedicated to doing our job in the best way possible, even though they were under a lot of pressure to finish quickly and move on to the next job. Great job ! - My home had a very wet basement every winter during the rainy season. I couldn't utilize the space at all - anything stored there would be ruined.... We had persistent and worsening flooding in our basement, and sought bids from several companies. Chose Terra Firma because their analysis of the cause was the most in-depth and detailed, including that our foundation was shifting and needed anchoring along 2 sides.
