What do you need in paper and boxes - they got it! Well at least everything we needed. We stopped in to get boxed and shredded xmas paper for sending gifts ( early!) Simply put what make them special, besides the selection, is the welcoming and friendly folks. Everyone gets greeted, they checked in on what we needed. Last time we visited, we asked about small rolls of brown shipping paper to warp some for the boxes we had at home. What we saw was a HUGE roll. Other stores would have said, "no, sorry". This tore, "hold on, we will open this and cut/roll what you need". Awesome.

Sal and his sister run this family owned business and one of the two of them are always inside when it's open. They have helped me with invitations and with choosing gifts within my budget. One example was that I was looking for "Evil Eye" jewelry for a couple of gifts and Sal showed me items ranging from $25 to $950. that were all unique. I'm sorry but there's no place like this. I have a set of heavy leather TV/lap trays that I wanted to give as a gift but couldn't part with. Jeweled photo frames, scarab jewelry, artistic pieces everywhere and just being in the store with room scent sprays and little chocolates makes me smile every time. It's right in the center of Branford across from The Green. Don't miss it!

They have an amazing selection of books; old and new; they also have puzzles, mini science experiments, and so many other cool activities for yourself or to do with your kids which I really enjoy. Their coffee and food is pretty good - but the only thing I do not like is the volume of the noise inside. Between everyone talking and the appliances.. you can't hear yourself think. So if noise isn't a bother to you- then i would absolutely recommend coming here I have one place for that needed quiet time and then here for those more vibrant days.
