No one should live like that. Chris and his crew stepped in and cleared out all rooms, taking many items for donation and other items to be trashed. They cleared out his kitchen which had so many canned/boxed food items that were expired. Chris even moved items so they weren't a tripping hazard, he pointed out fire hazards too. He did all of this with compassion and understanding, even recommending a company to help with ongoing cleaning/care to avoid my relative's place returning to its unlivable state. He even provided tax documents for donated items. I live out of state and couldn't be there, and Chris communicated with me throughout the process, sending me videos as he progressed. I even got quotes from competitors who weren't as compassionate or affordable. I highly recommend Orion's Attic!! Chris is amazing!!

I used that as an opportunity to visit, and I got to explore the rest of the store. They're located in that random giant industrial area that runs alongside Route 1 on the side where the train tracks are. It can definitely be easy to miss, and parking in the lot itself is quite limited. The adjacent street allows parking too, but sheesh it gets crowded. The vintage store is bigger than it may appear from the outside, and there's truly a LOT to sort through. Furniture, trinkets, pillows... you name it, they have it. There were some small tables and stools that almost found a home with me, but I was like... where am I going to put these things?! My kitchen is already being to be overloaded, and I rather not have that same energy rippling through the rest of the house. I ended up seeing this beautiful and vintage black and gold highball and shaker set that fit my bar / living room space really well, and I couldn't resist. I haven't been back in a while, but I'm sure if I returned I'd find something else neat. We'll see!

My overall experience with this company is that they are not customer-focused and can be unprofessional as well as condone inappropriate behavior by employees. Moreover, their refund policy is outdated and outright illegal. By not offering refunds for items, not picked-up they are violating people's rights. There is nowhere in the world where customers have to pay for items not received. In addition, giving only 2 days to request a refund is ludicrous especially considering most laws offer a 30, 60, or even 90 day refund policy. I have also been harassed, targeted, and discriminated against, and treated unfairly by this company and a few of its employees. The concept of this company may work well for sellers since the buyers literally have to work for what they pay for...but their delivery and customer service is entirely flawed.

Seen they were having another sale on the estatesales app in Bowie, MD and decided to check it out…read more Very friendly employees and even greeted me upon entering. I had been to two of their prior sales. One of them was a massive mansion in Chevy Chase and the other a victorian house in Bethesda. At the Chevy chase sale I must have spent a little over $500+ on various luxury furniture items which would have cost a fortune in the high end stores and also purchased a couple of small items like books and stuff. The guy running the sale I forgot his name but he gave me a awesome deal on the stuff. Also even help me load the small stuff in my car. Had to call a buddy with a pickup truck to haul the furniture items. At the Bethesda I purchased a diamond ring for a girl I was planning on marrying which didn't work out. I didn't want to continue the relationship. So I took it to a jewelry store to get it cleaned and polished and they said I got a good deal on it so I'm still happy. I can always get it resized for the next fiancé. Lol. The Bowie sale I just purchased a few silver coins. I would advise everyone come early to these guys sales. The Chevy Chase sale had a massive line of people waiting but they were letting like 30 people in at a time. They tend to get the big houses and mansions with the rare and awesome stuff so I definitely recommend checking out their sales. Only downfalls is parking can be a little tricky due to the massive crowds of their sales. But with any estate sale I always go early. Also some of the other customers get a little crazy at the sales because of the rare stuff people find. Overall A+++++
