Amazing place, with a large selection of high-quality and clean office furnitures. Only negative thing is the location: it takes a bit time to find the door and parking cost $1 per 15 minutes (paid by the meter using credit card). However, if you know what to find, you can get in and out in less than 10 minutes. The staff is very friendly and also help you load the furniture to the car. I have been buying from them from years. Definitely worth a visit! I have purchased computers, office furniture, musical equipment and an 80 piece set of dishes for my son. There are so many things to look at. Just remember, no cash! You also need your own transportation for larger items. The staff will help you load though. read more

Why doesn't this place have more reviews, seriously? This place is truly amazeballs. It is located right off of Rte 1, if you go to Rhode Island Ave you have gone too far. Nope you can't see it from the road, nope there isn't any grand signage. It just is what it is. Metered parking is available. So what is it, you ask? It is the surplus from the UMD system, like everything that you can think of related to an office; from monitors, desks, file cabinets, computers and more. Oh and it isn't cheap stuff either. This is the real deal Holyfield stuff, heavy wood desks, Dell monitors, apple producrts, etc. Now keep in mind that because this is a wwarehouse, theventory fluctuates as it becomes available. Things don't last here long folks. The prices are very reasonable and the items are barely used in my opinion. No guarantees, and no refunds are offered as items are sold as is. I have no problem with this because the prices are uber reasonable and you can tinker with things if needed. Before buying dual monitors (less than $100 total with cables included BOOYAH!) they were set up and tested. They are closed on Mondays and follow the closure of the school (think spring break and the like). My suggestion is to call before you venture out. I've been to TT many times and it's actually amazing what they have -always something new. TT doesn't just offer surplus items from UMD but also the University System and even some other local colleges and universities. After operational costs, the remaining "profit" goes back to the originating unit so they can recoup some of the cost of the surplus items. Ever want to go dumpster diving but without all the messy things connected with it? Well here's your chance to get that true sifting through other people's throw aways but not getting too dirty. Located in a secret location in College Park... uhh right across the street from the UMD Fire & Rescue training facility and not too far from the University itself you will find this sort of dusty old thrift store no airconditioned warehouse for used and discarded surplus plus from UMCP. What would interest you here well let's see. Perhaps some classroom chairs complete with the little fold away writing desk arms... no? Well how about some chemistry sets test tubes, beakers, petri dishes the works or how about some black boards, filing cabinets, over head projectors, conference tables, stack-able banquet chairs, old computers, gym equipment, test equipment... okay what about vehicles? White UMCP maintenance trucks, vans, shuttle buses even. The thing is they have all kinds of stuff here from the normal to the weird. Like old ancient scientific equipment that looks like it belongs in a 1950's Sci-fi flick. If you are in need of class furniture or equipment like a chalk board for your up and coming school or business then you should check it out. Warning a lot of stuff is sold "as is" condition. which means it's broke or haven't been tested. BUYER BEWARE you cannot return anything here you buy it's yours. To get in here you have to be connected to the University in some way, either a student, alumni, or member of the faculty. I got quite a bit of things from here for work related purposes including a spectacular conference table for the conference room of my office and some other things that didn't work out like a work van that needed too much work in the end so had to sell it.
