A family-owned Lavender farm located in Milton divided into two separate plots of containing Lavenders, Sunflowers, Buckwheat, and Poppies. Perfect for a small family getaway from the city and a chance to experience some nature. Entry tickets were $20 per adult and parking was free. The main attraction is definitely the Lavenders as witnessed by the many many rows of them once you enter. Very pretty to look at and many other families had the same idea, so the fields were filled with visitors. Staff were nice and explained things concisely. Besides the Lavenders, the other main attractions are the "Yellow Door" and "Yellow Bench", both can be accessed by following a small forest-esque path. Long lines can be found at each attraction, but it is ultimately not the farm's fault. Many bees and other critters can be found among the flowers. For the most part as long as you don't bother them, they won't bother you. The farm also has a small shop where you can buy souveniers as well as a refreshment area where you can purchase Lavender Ice Cream and Lavender Lemonade. The ice cream was a light purple colour that can't be described other than "Lavender" and was Vanilla based. The floral tones were not overpowering and pleasantly complimented the Vanilla, though the prices were on the higher side. All in all, a great experience and I will be bringing other people in the future for them to experience as well.

Terre Bleu was a fun little day trip! It took about 1 hr 45 mins to get there from Markham. Right as we were pulling into the entrance, I noticed that every single employee had giant smiles on their faces as they were directing you to the parking lot. Service was amazing and this was consistent throughout the entire farm. Everyone that worked there was extremely friendly and engaging in conversation with guests. Parking is free and there's tons of space. It's $20 to get in on the weekend (I felt this was a little pricey and it could've been $15). You'll sit through a brief 3 minute presentation that gives you some history on how the farm began. After that, you're free to explore the Lavender Farm on your own or join a free tour. We decided to explore on our own. It doesn't feel like it, but you can easily spend 2-3 hours here. Breathe in the fresh air with scents of lavender, follow the Yellow Bench Trail, photo op at the instafamous Yellow Door, live music, cocktails at the Herb Bar and of course, try the delicious lavender ice cream! There's also a lot of interesting things at the gift shop including lavender macarons, lavender cheese, lavender honey etc. I also really appreciated their initiative to reduce plastic waste (many people were asking for straws for their lavender lemonade).

Shout out and thank you to my sister (Maria Christina) for treating me to see the Terre Bleu Lavender Farm last Sunday on the 4th of July. We arrived at around 3 p.m. as our ticket was scheduled for that time and unfortunately the farm closes at around 5 p.m so we were not able to visit the other part of the farm with the lavender oil distillery, bees and pop-up shops, etc. What we were able to see was a pretty relaxing scenery away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Ambience- 5 stars Unfortunately only a few of the lavender flowers were in bloom as we were too early. As per my mom, if will probably be better to visit during August time when the flowers are more in bloom. However, we were able to visit now during their opening week. There are lots of things to see such as the gift shop, a field of lavenders, a relaxing forest area, a yellow door in the middle of a field of lavenders and even staff on horseback! Food 4 Stars I appreciate the free sparkling water which came with the trip ticket. You can choose your sparkling water to be either lemon or strawberry flavoured. However, I did not receive it cold and it would've probably tasted better cold so just a tip to get your drink at the gift shop where it is kept in the fridge. As for the taste, it was interesting and had a hint of lavender with strawberries as I chose the strawberry flavoured sparkling water. The drink tasted like a carbonated pop and was a nice touch to the farm visit. I also had a chance to try their lavender ice cream. It was a great experience to try it but I didn't really notice a stark difference from a vanilla taste of ice cream. Gift shop had different offerings such as lavender eye mask, lavender mask, lavender sanitizer, plush bear toy, and even cheese! I'm sure there were more products and you have to see it for yourself! Cons- mosquitoes in the forest I think one of the cons would be the very hungry mosquitoes lurking in the forest. After a day or two, I saw that I received some bites from the hungry mosquitoes. Don't get me wrong, the am I in the forest was so calming but I don't think you can stay too long if you didn't put any insect repellent on because of the mosquitoes. So, just another tip is to wear a long sleeve clothing with no holes and maybe put on some insect repellent. Yellow door: so with the pandemic going on, there is a line up at the yellow door for photo-ops and it may take some of your time from exploring other areas of the farm if you decide to line up for the photo at the yellow door. As for washroom, there are some porta potties near the parking lot. Pros There was also a lovely stream and bridge in the forest which just adds to the experience. The place appeared clean and well kept. Ample parking space. Friendly staff and organized.

This is a great place to visit if you like the outdoors. We were lucky to visit when the lavander was in peak bloom. I loved walking around and looking and exploring the farm. Definitely take advantage of the free tour! The yellow bench trail was like walking through a fairy tale forest and the shade was great. The yellow bench and the yellow door make for a great photo op!! I really appreciated seeing their bee colony. Don't worry about getting stung! The bees are too busying doing work to pay attention to us. There's a bee tunnel if you want to get close but are afraid. There is a nice herb bar area with a large variety of herbs growing. They were all sold out of herb cocktails when we were there. The lavender ice cream and lemonade were great especially in the hot weather. I wish they would do single scoops to accommodate kids.

Throwback to last year at @terrebleu! They're known for their beautiful lavender and sunflower fields lots of lavender-themed goodies at their gift shop, INCLUDING this lavender ice cream! 2/5 This is definitely a must-try if you ever come, but sadly it doesn't taste as good as it looks. It melted really fast and it tasted more like nuts than lavender. Overall I would only recommend purchasing this to "complete" the trip at terre bleu because it's just that popular! I got it a minute before the fields closed, raced to the gift shop, and there was still a long line!

Admission: $17. If you want to just go into store and buy some ice cream, you don't need to pay admissions. They have 2 large Lavender fields. One is near the front and is visible from the non-paying area. The other field is through a 2 minute walk through the woods. The inner field has a yellow door in the middle for some nice photos. They recently added another circular structure with some wild flowers for more photo opportunities. Bring bug repellent for the mosquitos in the woods. This year, the bloom is not good. Half of the inner field were dead from the winter. The outer field had about 2 rows of bloomed purple flowers. They also had a few rows of fully bloomed white lavender, which was interesting to look at. Not quite as nice as the purple in full bloom though. The ice cream is a must try, but I think the macarons are more impressive with stronger lavender aroma and taste than the ice cream. Overall their products as high quality, just expect to pay a pretty penny for them.

The infamous Yellow Door and Yellow Bench - finally got to see it for myself . Of course, the main point of coming here was for the endless rows of lavender... however, I was quite sad. Because of the harsh/cold spring we had, they didn't bloom . Worse thing was, we didn't know that until we got there (as their website said they were at full bloom). A little disappointing, but the girls at the entrance did say that if we wanted to continue, they would email us another set of tickets (it's been two days and I'm still waiting for that email) - so that we could visit the farm at a later date. And if this actually does happen (or when I actually get my tickets via email), that would be totally amazing of their owner. Aside from the disappointment over something they had no control over, I did want to make a couple of comments about the people that work here and their signature foodies!! The staff they've hired, they're AMAZING. Very friendly, very sweet, informative, and helpful - best of class customer service!!! If I didn't know any better, I would've guessed that they owned the farm (they took care of their guests like they were family)! Another thing is, their lavender lemonade and lavender ice cream!! I've never been a huge fan of food that's got that flower flavor to it... I'm not even a huge fan of rose tea. But I had to try this!! I mean c'mon, I'm at a lavender farm, why wouldn't you try their famous lavender ice cream, lavender lemonade, while purchasing their lavender products (put me in a farm and I still manage to find things to buy)!! I can't wait to get my admissions and revisit them at a later date!!!

Beautiful fields of sunflowers and lavender! Nice for families as well as groups. Nice trip out of the busy city to enjoy natures beauty! The lavender ice cream is a must try and the lemonade was perfect for those looking for a less sweet option. They do have a gift shop that sells a variety of items including lavender honey.

It's a little bit late when I visited this beautiful lavender farm. Everything is very expensive, the shops and entrance fee $20.00. Most of the people are lining up in the yellow door and ice cream. On the other side of the farm is their sunflower fields and a cafe with patios if you want some coffee and refreshing drinks. They accept cash only. It's great place for instagramers and other social media's. Go earlier if you want to see full bloom flowers.

I loved Terre Bleu! The lavender smelled heavenly and everything was aesthetically pleasing. The ice cream was some of the best ice cream ever - I can see why they charged $6.50 for ice cream. The macarons were some of the best macarons that I've had - my boyfriend and I actually had a moment of silence as we slowly appreciated every bit of flavour from those macarons. The farm also has a distillery for lavender essential oils and they had an apiary where they make lavender honey. Their store is stocked full of everything lavender - from culinary items like lavender honey, lavender vinaigrette and lavender hot chocolate to bath and body items like lavender essential oils, lavender body lotions and even lavender mosquito repellant. They also offer photography services, tours and yoga - how awesome is that? Just imagine having yoga in such a serene place...would love to try that out. I love that the farm is expanding as well - they now have a sunflower field for everyone to enjoy (and for IG opps lol)! I would definitely come back again - it was therapeutic walking through the fields, taking in the fresh, lavender-scented air and seeing so much lavender. Everyone needs to go - it's a great place to stop by to get away from the hustles of every day life. A visit to Terre Bleu should definitely be on everyone's bucket list!

Came with a large group of friends for Sunday morning yoga. It was hot and sunny. There is a parking lot across the street where the "ruins" (old burned down barn) and new cafe are. Pretty with tables and chairs. There are staff to guide you across the street from the parking lot ;near the 2 port a potties (). You walk along a path and across a field with horses in the adjacent field. You go through the entrance into a tent to watch a short video...but it wasn't working when we were there. Then over to the area with the shop and lavender fields (purple and white lavender). After yoga they put cold wet towels with lavender oil on our forehead and it felt amazing. The cold lavender tea was also nice. Since we did the yoga, we were allowed to stay for the 20 minute tour where we saw the fields, the distillery where the oil is made and the bee hives. There is a small bar to get non alcoholic lavender cocktails and hubby got the lavender ice cream at the store. He also had the lavender sparkling water and croissant with lavender Gouda from the cafe. We paid $35 each for the yoga which included access to the whole farm and the guided tour. The crop was not great due poor spring weather Come early as the line up to was long by 12:15pm.

Wonder why I haven't yet written a review about this place. I love this lavender garden since it is the biggest and prettier one you can reach in about an hour drive from Toronto or within GTA. There are always different types of beautiful lavenders in the farm. The entrance fee is a bit on the expensive side but it worths the value since the farm has put a lot of effect in making the place fun to explore and beautiful enough for photo shoots. I love their yellow door and yellow chair. There are some special events during weekends like mini concerts or DIY classes. If you haven't been to this place, make sure you come in the morning before their famous lavender ice cream sold out for the day.

Two hours of romantic getaway experience with your significant other or family in this photogenic farm! Terre Bleu means Blue Earth and this farm has everything lavender imaginable!! Entrance fee of $20 to see their main lavender farm and an additional $10 to see their newly opened sunflower field!! Since the sunflower field closes at 4:20 p.m. and last admission there is at 4 p.m daily, it is encouraged to visit there first as the lavender fields are not closed until 5 p.m. and the gift shop around 6 p.m. Staff were super friendly and upon entrance, they provide a general overview of the farm and its history over a video. The sunflower field is on the opposite side of the parking lot away from the actual lavender farm. There is a pathway from the other end of the parking lot that leads you to another field that is across the road. Friendly staff and a police officer will guide you there. Terre Bleu is proud to have 200,000 sunflowers open to the public for the very first time this Saturday, August 4th for the Civic Holiday long weekend!! My beau and I came here at the perfect time! Many have not fully blossomed yet, but at least the field is quite pristine and profoundly gorgeous to be in!! At the sunflower field exit, they purposely have a FB inspired photo op area where you and family/friends can take a group photo among an immense field of yellow in the backdrop. They have two lavender fields, one at the entrance near their gift shop and the other beyond this forested Yellow Bench Trail! Essentially, at the first field, you can buy souvenirs and eat lavender ice cream for $6 and/or drink lemonade with English lavender buds for $6.50. Both are must-try experience, especially in hot summer weather! The trip to the second field brings you over a wooden bridge and as suggested, a yellow bench. This place really gives off the Wizard of Oz vibe to me, because of its reference to the Yellow Brick Road. Pass yellow bench and out the forest trail lies the second lavender field and it is here where their famous Yellow Door is located. Seriously, maybe the beautiful scent from the acres of lavender would dowse me into a deep wishful sleep to meet Dorothy and her friends; now wouldn't that be something. Their gift shop sells distilled essential oils, sleeping mask, bath bombs, honey, maple syrup, stuffed teddy bear, neck pillow, and many more, all made with... you guessed it... LAVENDER from their own farm!! Lavender is a great stress reliever and great sleep induced, especially during exam periods or work projects with strict deadlines. You can also use it to treat bug bites (including any received while at the farm itself)! This place is a definite must visit for all naturalists, hikers, explorers, adventurers, selfie lovers, lavender lovers and nature/flower lovers, lovers in general and just about everyone!! Just please respect the property and walk along the intended paths/trails and NOT over any of the lavenders, sunflowers or even wild flowers!! Staff riding horses circulate around every field to ensure that visitors are respecting their grounds and you can even take photos with them. I found that all the staff there were well-trained and educated on the different properties of lavender and their various products that you can buy in their gift shop. Super friendly folks, who you can also ask for photos. They charge the $20 entrance fee and the additional $10 fee for the sunflowers to ward off mass visitors in their attempt to educate and imbue in everyone the respect and appreciation for their lavenders, sunflowers, property, and nature itself. Come share your beautiful photos and selfies of this place, but do not damage it. Thanks in advance. This place is truly a gem and I am excited to see it expand even more!!
Beautiful place. Extremely friendly staff and fun tour. I also like that it's not too far of a drive from the city. It's definitely a nice place to spend an afternoon on the weekend with family or loved ones! read more

Beautiful day at Terre Bleu. Lovely lavender, bumble bees, great staff and amazing grounds. Bring a camera and spend time walking amongst the lavender. Local and sustainable. read more
What a beautiful venue! I would highly recommend making a visit out here. The farm is so pretty and there are 2 big area of lavender for people to take photos in. There is also a free tour that showcases the distillery process and also the bee hives. Very educational. The farm is not that big but it is very relaxing (probably because of the smell) and the perfect photo op! read more
This review is based on the experience my wife and I had last weekend. If i can give them a Zero i would. I CHALLENGE the owner to be a better person and to fully respect WOMAN especially if you're business that caters to customer service experience. You're arrogance to follow us on the way out of the parking lot after my wife was over it and being rudely aggressive and agitated "Cursing at my wife and saying this your land i can do whatever you want" attitude is not acceptable. I hope you come to realizations of your actions and regret what you did. Anyways would i personally go back to this place??? probably not Ice cream is Ice cream i can get it anywhere without being berating from an owner. Stay classy Yelpers and respect one another. CHEERS!!! In short - pricey admission fee ($10 + tax), pricey ice cream ($5 + tax if you could even get some). Features: informative tour regarding lavender plants, nice lavender plants, not much else to do for the pricey admission. Staff was friendly enough but owner (Ian) is extremely rude and ruined the entire experience. Full review: I've been wanting to come here for a while since I've heard about this place and was really excited. There's a nice tour, the lavender flowers are nice, and you can probably spend 90 minutes or so there if you like to take a lot of pictures. I was really looking forward to trying the lavender ice cream too, but unfortunately since I missed their last call, I wasn't able to purchase a ticket for ice cream. This is where the experience goes south. I was redirected to the owner, Ian, and asked kindly if I could please get some ice cream since people were actually still being served ice cream as I was speaking to him. He started to tell me this is his home and they need to shut down the farm at some point. I didn't think that by asking as a paying customer willing to give them more business by buying $5 + tax for an ice cream cone that I would then be so RUDELY declined. Rude is the key word here. There are nicer ways to say no to people. He became argumentative, told me I was being unbelievable and compared his farm to a bank??? (Weird). I told him I'm going to walk away from him now and end this conversation because I actually enjoyed his farm. It wasn't really a conversation though since he was actually just yelling at me even as I walked away. He then followed me to the parking lot?! He over heard me talking to my husband about our confrontation and when I asked him "why are you following me?" He said "because this is my home and I'm listening to you b*tch to your husband." When he tried to complain to my husband ABOUT ME my husband said to him "don't curse to me about my wife that's just disrespectful." Wow. I feel so disgusted by this experience. There have been very few establishments where I've seen such blatant disrespect and this tops them. Overall, the farm was okay but the owner totally ruined part of my Canada Day long weekend. We chose to spend our time there and are now totally regretting it. Go if you must, but I'll never go back and I wouldn't recommend anyone to go and give this guy Ian more business that he clearly doesn't appreciate. Terre Bleu lavendar farm is what it is, but don't expect the owner to provide customer service that goes above and beyond. And if you go, hopefully you don't encounter Ian, so you don't get cursed at during your visit. read more

Owner was very rude and showed no respect for women and others! Farm was full, the staff was turning people away. Website didn't mention they were at full capacity, phone went straight to voicemail. So people were driving 2 hours to get there just to find out they cannot get in. So we left, 5 minutes later, our friend called us and told us they just got in. What? OK so we turned around and drove back. Now the owner was at the gate turning people away. We asked him why were they so inconsistent and tried to explain to him our friend just went in. Within 2 sentences, the owner started yelling at us. Saying the capacity was set by the city and this is his home he has right to not let people in. Fine, we stopped at the side of the road and my wife walked to the gate and was trying to call our friend who went in to figure out what to do next. The owner then started yelling at my wife, telling her to leave right away and accusing that she was trespassing. And he threatened to call the cop. She was only standing at the gate, waiting for our friends. She told the owner to go ahead and call the cop because she did nothing wrong. He then accused my wife of being rude and said he was an a-hole. My wife started crying since she did not say that. The owner is very disrespectful to others, accusing people of something that people never did. Yes that's your home mr. Owner so why don't you just shut your door forever and you can enjoy your own home all you want and no one would ever care. After experiencing this, we found that we are not the only one who was treated in such a disrespectful way by the owner of this farm. If we had read these reviews before, we would never visit this horrible farm. read more

I follow a bunch of Canadian influencers on Instagram and I saw a lot of lavender fields and farm post. I just thought how interesting so I looked at the ones they went too but they were too far. My family and I were driving to Hamilton and noticed a sign for a different lavender farm. I got into yelp and found Terre Bleu and all it had to offer. Perfect for IG pictures and some yummy treats! So my sister and I made the drive out from Cambridge which only took us maybe 30-40 mins. From the second we got out of the car, the aroma of lavender hit us. It smelt incredible, very calming and I've never experienced anything like that it was so beautiful. The staff was incredibly nice! It was $15 a person (during the week). We went on the farm tour of where they make the essentials oils, and their bee hive and learned a lot of new things about lavender itself and bees! We took tons of pictures and tried a lavender ice cream and the lavender lemonade. Both super yummy however I liked the lemonade more then the ice cream. Overall a great time and highly recommend going if you want to spend a couple of hours in pure serenity. read more

We went yesterday. It is a beautiful little farm for a nice summer afternoon getaway. However it is a little overpriced. They charge $20 per person and there are only 2 patches lavender fields to see. Not much other activities to do there. Plus it was really packed. We stayed about 2 hours. But the lavender ice cream is absolutely delicious! read more

What a wonderful experience! Terre Bleu has the nicest and friendliest staff we have ever met! My husband and I planned a summer day date there yesterday and enjoyed our experience so much. Plenty of parking, with staff to help you. We payed a 20$ admission fee each which was perfectly reasonable. It included the entrance and a free 30min tour of the farm, distillery and apiary. At the herb bar they had delicious mocktails like lavender peach Bellini and pineabpin lavender mojito. We got to try lavender Gouda cheese and purchased the lavender ice cream which was out of this world!!! There is a really pretty mini hiking trail with plenty of picture perfect spots all over the property. There were horses, and a harpist, lavender macarons and lavender lemonade. Every staff member was pleasant with a huge smile welcoming you despite having to be out in the sweltering heat! The herb bar staff didn't even accept tips and worked hard making drink after drink outside. A beautiful place with wonderful people and lots to see, do and eat! Thanks Terre Bleu read more

Terre Bleu has been on my list of places to check it for quite awhile now. We planned a trip there on a Friday because we thought it would be less busy. I didn't realize that there was a $5 price hike on the weekends. We paid $10 entry fee but $15 does seem a bit too high for what you get. Kids under 2 are free. The fields are beautiful and lovely to see. It smells so nice with all the lavender. I love how all the staff wear these bright purple t-shirts or sweatshirts. There is an organized tour that seems to leave every hour on the half hour. We joined the 1:30 tour slightly late and then needed up catching the beginning of the 2:30 one. The fields are completely stunning to look at and smell. The tour will take you to see the distilling process to make the lavender oil and you can also view a herb garden and an apiary. There's also a 2nd field that is through a beautiful 200 year old cedar forest. I found the entire experience very relaxing. The gift shop is stunning but the prices are high. Given that it's quite expensive to grow and process lavender, I can understand the high prices. I can see from other reviews that the owner isn't too pleasant to interact with but we didn't have any issues. The only food sold on the premises is the lavender ice cream which was nice, and a lemonade which we didn't try. read more

Stunning lavender farm. Great place to take pictures. I like that they had a couple different fields to visit and seeing the Apiary and the Distillery was cool. It was quite busy when we went, but the staff were friendly and happy. They said it was their "busiest day ever". I did deduct a star because it was soo pricey. $15 to get in, $5 for a small ice cream (it was delicious and worth it! Not grainy.) The gift shop was adorable but again..very pricey, ($30 for cheese, $25 for honey, $10 for soap). I am sure it is well worth every penny, but they really shouldn't charge you to come spend money. This would be an amazing wedding venue! Worth the drive and a 1 time visit. Unsure if i'd go back though. read more

Wednesday night's event "Into the Blue" at Terre Bleu Lavender Farm was truely amazing. Thank you Lululemon and the Terre Bleu family for the wonderful experience. The three meditation/yoga sessions in the lavender fields were very relaxing and mindful, and the treats (lavender lemonade, lavender cookies, popcorn and s'mores), music and whole experience after was a pleasant surprise. Loved the family's story, being able to explore the Yellow Bench Trail...and the meaning of the Yellow Door, "Walk through the door, your worries behind you, your joys are ahead". Although I attended a special event, the farm hosts yoga sessions on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the summer. I will definitely be back. read more

We visited Terre Bleu this past weekend and to be honest - it was not worth the trip. There is an admission fee of $15 per person, no senior or children discounted tickets. Now the $15 just allows you to walk amongst the field and go into the gift shop. If I want to buy a gift from the gift shop, I shouldn't have to buy admission to enter?! My husband and father decided not to enter and just hung out around the parking area until my mother and I were done with our visit. My mother and I decided to buy ice cream on our way out. We didn't like the ice cream too much and I was having a bit of an allergic reaction to the lavender in the ice cream. We gave our ice cream to my father and husband to finish as we left. A Terre Bleu staff member walked up to my father and started accosting him if he had paid admission and where he got the ice cream. I said to the staff.. I was inside and my mother and I, who paid admission bought the ice cream. The staff member proceeded to say that we could not share the ice cream with my father if he didn't pay admission. WHAT!? How does that make any sense!? I buy your product and leave ...and you are telling me who and what I can do with it. I couldn't believe the staff member would accost my retired older father, who was simply eating ice cream. The staff member even asked us to pay admission for him. I said we were leaving any way. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE, WASTE OF TIME, MONEY, AND RUDE STAFF. read more

The staff are amazing and very accommodating. The fields were very beautiful but I can't really compare it to other farms because I've never visited other fields. Their lavender cheese, shortbread and tea tasted really good but their ice cream and hot chocolate was sort of disappointing. The hot chocolate tasted like water with chocolate sauce and the ice cream had a icy consistency instead of creamy consistency. Regardless, I enjoyed my visit and like most of my products, especially the tea. read more
