Gesturing to this woman with a bunch of children running around the entire place. They were grabbing stuff, not even ready to check out yet. I checked my phone for no more than 30 seconds and now some girl behind the counter is like "HELLOOO?!" I look up and suddenly another register is open. I smile at the new cashier and say hello, she rolls her eyes and ignores me. After the transaction I said thank you and goodbye and this woman continued to act like my existence is bothering her. This type of behavior is unprofessional and unnecessary, even for a gas station.
