I tried the drunken chicken which was cooked with tomatoes and beer and served over a generous bed of white rice. I had a bit of indigestion afterwards, but it truly may have been me versus the tomatoes. We also ordered a prepackaged Kizito chocolate chip cookie, which made for some happy patrons. My neighborhood association had a pop up business day this past weekend and this company was setup manning the grill and selling some of there Philly cheese steaks and other items such as chicken sandwiches. Spoke to the the people who run it while waiting for the food and they seem like genuinely good people and are Definitely local business so it is easy to support that. From my understanding the long term goal outside of catering and pop up events is to grow to a food truck. Which I think would be great. The area needs a good Philly cheese steak food truck. For a sandwich and a bag of chips it ran around $10. Me and my wife both got Philly cheese steaks. I got mine without onions and mushrooms and she got hers without onions only. The steak comes with the meat, Mayo, cheese and ketchup. Decent sized sandwich and while it looked real messy was a pretty clean eat. I'll be honest. I'm not a huge Philly cheese steak guy. I seen this and thought I'll support local and give it a try. To double down on my honesty I was pleasantly surprised. This was a phenomenal Sandwich. Had amazing flavors and the ingredients mixed perfect together. I've tried some other local phill cheese steaks that's people swear by and I never understood the allure. With this one I can get it.
