the mushrooms put this Cheesesteak over the top
    James P.

Daydrinking and cheesesteak eating deep in the pine barrens!! The size, taste, appetizers, beer selection and conversation we overheard from the bar all make this a great place!! The cheesesteak was very good. The mushrooms were amazing and added a ton of flavor to the CS. The appetizers were Fairfield Inn made and amazing. Our bartender/waitress was amazing and could describe everything on the menu. The prices were amazing.

Parking was both behind the building and in front across the street. I could even see the car. Room had the basics, clean, quiet, comfy bed and pillows, shampoo toiletries, dryer. The king size bed was fantastic, with great space on the left, right, and in front of the TV console. Could fit probably close to 2 twin air beds if you have more travelers. Seriously, it had breathing room not like some other hotels rooms where you are 6 inches from the wall. Very roomy. The room was quiet, no noise from other rooms, no noisy kids, sometimes I heard a revving motorcycle on occasion but did not lose a blink of sleep. I was on the 3rd floor. Yes, it's looks more like a building office from the outside but you are on a business corner, and it was not crazy busy. You can walk to Walgreens or KFC, or the barber, or go to a nearby restaurants. ( you can drive to The Golden Pigeon Diner which was amazing and great price) The location felt more like a diverse community neighborhood with character than a sterile shopping strip. High maintenance xenophobes should stay away.

Hotel location is back behind a large shopping area. Felt like I was driving into a scary movie setup. An odd odor hit me while associate was making a key since digital check in was down. Smelled like a sweaty pool. Since I figured it was just the floor I went upstairs to my room. Unfortunately, was on the 3rd floor too. Room was dark even after i flipped on all the lights. Brightest room was the bathroom which helped with makeup in the morning. **Not tech friendly** Maybe I travel with too many devices. Decided to use plugs in the bathroom to charge work phone and iPad instead of crawling on the floor unplugging the lights. No extra plugs on the desk. Side table lamps had one each but needed those for my phone and watch. Small TV kept cutting off saying I may need to log in again. Shower was hot! Best part about the hotel was the people! Check in associate was friendly. Breakfast host was attentive while I was working in the area for more lighting. If I'm in the area again I think I'll pass and drive a bit further.

Four of us were looking for a 5-star hotel experience less than hour from Philly as a little overnight treat for Thanksgiving weekend. We checked in around 3, pulled up to valet and the valet guy was nice but offered no help with our bags or anything. He said he didn't have a cart at the moment and I thought it was a little odd given how quiet it was. We went to check in at the desk and the attendant gave us our room number then told us he messed up and it wasn't inspected yet so we had to hang in the lobby. I was fine with that because I was excited to sit by the fire that they have marketed on their website (photo attached). No fire- just some electric candles. We grabbed a drink on the roofbar which was vibey but they charged my sister twice for incorrect items so we had to wait 10 minutes while they fixed that and we needed to leave for a dinner Rez. The room itself was nice, but the air was not working. The four of us slept terribly because of how warm it was- honestly so disappointing. We were also told they there was a nice breakfast in the lobby with pastries and things- again, not correct. There was one pastry type (good but still misleading) and some cereal boxes with warm milk. For $450 dollars this did not land at all. Would rather spend a few hundred more and stay at Four Seasons in Philly to get a real hotel experience. I would say go ahead and grab a drink here but save your money or stay somewhere else.

To elevate the experience the staff are top notch; welcoming and accommodating. We got to the hotel at 8:40pm and were directed straight to the restaurant, so that we could order before the kitchen closed. While we feasted the staff brought our luggage to our room. It was only after we ate that we checked in to our beautiful rooms. We then went to the rooftop to grab a few drinks and relaxed on the outdoor couches. We were bummed to miss the speakeasy in the basement but can't get too upset because being outdoors on a warm summer night with a delicious cocktail is a great way to start a vacation.
