It's still a great location, less than a block from the boardwalk and the beach, but they really need to make it a hotel again. The only way to stay there now is to rent from one of the owners on VRBO or some other site.

My only complaint is that the futon in the living room as ridiculously uncomfortable. But thankfully the beds were super comfy! The pool at the hotel is really nice and there are plenty of chairs, so you don't have to get up at dawn and throw your beach towels down! It's heated too. Considering what it used to be it looks horrendous and just terrible. It used to be a landmark and a famous hotel on OC with beautiful plants, facade, a cool waterfall and looked like a nice little tropical escape. Yeah 4 years ago were the rooms looking a little worn and needing renovation but it was still cleaner than any other hotel I was ever in and noting broken. The pool was so much fun, plenty of shade a really cool waterfall, nice tropical plants. The office was warm and welcoming. Now it's just a hunk of "modernization" if that makes sense. The office looks like a dentist office. All white, no character. The famous exterior lava rock , plants, and waterfall... gone. Plain old wood panels with the "modern" white wood tile things. All the plants are gone in the front and replaced with grass. Everything is white, gray, and blue gray. For lack of better words it looks like crap. Worst thing tho is the pool looks sad and empty, no more waterfall. ITS GONE!!! It looks like how the pool used to look in the 60's and 70's. The fun welcoming atmosphere is gone. And it's sad to see it go. Ocean city lost a gem, hopefully to be one day restored to its former glory. The new owners made a promise to continue the legacy of the hotel and keep the name. LIARS!!!! It's now named "Ocean's Edge" and are quickly killing (if they haven't already) the legacy.

Did some research and decided to give this motel a try based on the many positive reviews. Well, The Forum did not disappoint. The room was a very nice size and had two queen size beds. The room was also exceptionally clean with a powerful shower. The Forum is located minutes from the boardwalk by foot and right near coffees shops, shopping and restaurants. The pool was also large and well maintained. Unfortunately, we didn't get to use it as the weather did not cooperate. Hopefully, next time. Kumar, who greeted us at the front desk, was warm and pleasant. In fact, he provided my wife with a complimentary beach bag and my daughters with cute stuffed animals. If you are looking for an exceptionally clean, reasonably-priced motel that is minutes away from all of the attractions, this is your place. Highly recommend and we would definitely return.

I was here in the off season so wasn't able to go into local beach water or rooftop pool, but had opportunity to visit both. Much of the local shops and restaurants were closed or opened only limited hours during this off season, but could see the potential in season for more. The gym onsite was sufficient enough for my 3 visits during my 5 day/6 night stay. Equipment all functioning, clean and adorned with personal TV monitors. Earphones to be obtained gratis from front desk. Unit was pretty well kept, with only a few minor distressed spots here and there from previous occupant usage. All in all a convenient location for anyone fortunate enough to capture a unit like myself. Was able to get in some gaming, dining, Tanger Outlet and local shopping, historical site visit and some well deserved R&R before the holiday. Lovely experience with very cordial staff from front desk, doorman, shuttle driver and housekeeping staff. Look forward to seeing if I could get a unit during prime season.

We didn't make it to a room- one of us was scared to step inside. Take my advice and get a room somewhere else before you arrive in Ocean City. We had to make a couple phone calls to find a place. But there was no way we were spending a night in this pile of human excrement masquerading as a hotel. Run, don't walk, from the Glen-Nor.
