This place was excellent (especially for Delaware). The drinks and food were innovative and tasty. Really enjoyed the deep fried octopus and my pork shank

The Quoin has a restaurant open to the public with only a $15 valet, which is super worth it if you're going on a busy night. We made a reservation and we're sat at one of the larger round tables. The ambience is perfect for a date night or girls night out. There's candles everywhere, multiple unique seating options and fire wood stoves. We ordered a lemon drop and dirty martini- both delicious! To start, we tried the endive salad which was earthy and fresh tasting. My friend and I shared that and the mushroom ravioli. The raviolis were cooked in a creamy mushroom sauce and were SO GOOD. We finished our meal with the flavorful banana bread dessert served in a cast iron. Service was quick, our waters stayed full and they provided great recommendation! Some of the menu items are super pricey (they have a rib eye option for over $100) but there's plenty that's affordable. The rooftop bar is also open year round and offers a great new spot on the city for happy hour!

had the most lovely evening here a few weeks ago with a couple of my girlfriends. we started off at the restaurant patio for happy hour. we had the pleasure of receiving outstanding service from our waiter brandon. after happy hour, we traveled up to the rooftop bar to enjoy another drink and watch the sunset. following that, we went downstairs to the "simmer down" bar in the lower level for additional drinks and vibes! highly recommend for a fun girls night/date night! food and drinks were amazing! here's what we ordered: - grilled caesar salad - big eye tuna tartar - dry aged beef sliders - fried baby artichokes - potato coins - drinks: quion spritz, garden party, into the groove, fancy free, dirty martini, merry jane follow our ig @eatinglavishphilly for more delaware and philadelphia food reviews!

I have had so many great meals in Wilmington, I am not easy to impress. Wilmington has stepped up their food game and there is no need to go to Philly. I was blown away by every bit of our meal, even food that wasn't mine. I couldn't believe there was not a bad bite between the 4 of us. The service was incredible and then there is the rooftop bar. I almost wish I was from out of town so I could stay at the hotel...so adorable!!!

Enjoyed dinner with friends tonight and I have to say- Quoin is a special place for a lot of different occasions. I once hosted a large group at the bar between the lobby and restaurant and the cocktails and service were amazing. Pricey? Yes, but damn that was a great espresso martini. I went back tonight with 2 girlfriends, started with a tasty rye cocktail at the rooftop bar (we stayed indoors) and then went back to the restaurant for dinner. It's an open kitchen concept and the room was warm and lively. The service was outstanding. We were given suggestions but never made to feel like we were not ordering enough. We each ordered a different wine and they brought each of our bottles out to pour the glass. Such a nice touch! The food was incredible! We stayed and chatted a bit after the meal and felt welcome to do so. I highly suggest going with friends - it's a wonderful place for food and conversation.

It was our first time here and we had a great time. Food, drinks, services and atmosphere are phenomenal. They have the rooftop to oversee the city of wilmington and a basement full of lounges for unwind after a long day. Each floor has a bar. Place isn't loud either. In the winter, they'll provided a throw for guest while on the rooftop. Great place, great foods and highly recommended!!!

    Sinner cocktails!

We had barely…read morewalked in, and I was already counting down the minutes until I could leave and write this review. The staff were shockingly rude--especially the woman with red hair in the cafeteria, who seemed irritated by the mere existence of guests, snapping at people like we were a burden rather than paying customers. And the room? Absolutely unbelievable--in the worst way. It was so dirty it felt like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. I had to drape sheets over the couches just to sit down without feeling gross, thanks to visible stains, what looked like layers of grime, and an alarming amount of dog hair--despite specifically booking a hypoallergenic room. The kitchen was practically useless, with barely any equipment to prepare even a simple meal, and to top it off, the coffee machine didn't even work. The bathroom sink was clogged and emitted a strong rotten egg smell that filled the room--it was impossible to ignore, even when trying to sleep. We're supposed to stay here for a few more days, but honestly, it feels like a nightmare I can't wake up from. I've never been so eager to check out of a place in my life.

Someone answered and said that they could. When I arrived later that day, Jeannette checked me in and gave me a great room on a higher floor with a great view of the Christina River. Jeannette later told me that she had replied to my text. Our room was perfect. It had everything that we requested starting with a king bed. The room had a small kitchen area. There was plenty of desk space and a small sofa with a computer desk. The bathroom was adequate. The view from the room was great. It was nice that we could see a high school rowing race one morning from our room. Breakfast is served downstairs. They had a pretty good offering of breakfast items. They had the usual items like scrambled eggs, sausage and potatoes. One of the mornings they served a smoked chicken for smoked chicken burritos. It was different and good. Along with these breakfast items, they also had coffee and juices. The gym is located on the first floor. They had sanitizing wipes to clean the machines before and after using the machines. A large screen tv was there for watching. Ellipticals and treadmills are available for you to use. It was enough for a good workout. The Homewood was a good hotel for me. Both my wife and I liked it. If in this area again, we would stay here again.

Aside from a great breakfast, they provided "Evening Socials," from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. We had a selection of drinks, full salad bar, mac & cheese, and assorted desserts. A Dogs skin wouldn't look like that, and it was A LOT OF IT! It was NOT scotch tape, duct tape or another sort of tape! It was MOST DEFINITELY SKIN CELLS. I took photos of it both times and showed it to your staff. You could even see the prints of the skin. I know what skin cells look like. I am a Retired Police Officer, I've seen more than most and I certainly know what Skin Cells look like. Based off of the responses I've received, it's quite obvious that you(Sheraton Suites) don't truly value or care about your Guests. When I first presented the issue, it should have been rectified then! Especially, since I was told that Housekeeping was going to vacuum. But NEVER showed!! The hotel rooms are well equipped with a sizable mini fridge and a microwave. Unfortunately, my room was a bit shoddy. The sink drain was stuck and didn't drain, the shower was a bit dirty and on the ceiling you can see paint peeling from water damage. I requested to have the sink drain inspected and fixed the same night I arrived, within 10 minutes or less a maintenance worker comes by to check on it and he said he would get it replaced and fixed the next day. When I came back the next day it wasn't fixed so I called again, and it was fixed later in that day. I do commend the hotel front desk for great customer service, I think it was the manager who called my room to check up if the sink has been fixed or not. The cleaning staff was extremely helpful and the bistro afternoon workers were also excellent. The bed after a long trip was so comfortable. Things will be really improved. Once all renovations are done and rooms are consistent. The reason I didn't read a five is because it's not good when you call an 800 number and the information discussed on that call is not communicated to the actual hotel. I had requests that were resolved when I got on site but I thought when I called into the 800 number they would documenting my call for the front desk of the actual hotel. Marriott could begin with connecting or improving the communication process between the 800 number, the online application and the Front Desk of the actual hotel where you are staying - this would remove a lot of frustration and confusion from the customer/guest.
