She then told us it would be an extra $800 because I made a mistake with his social security number, when we went into the office to discuss with someone else they told us she should have never said that and then when she was brought in the office to figure it out, she rolled her eyes and had a very distasteful attitude when asked if she remembers handling my dad's arrangements. They also had someone else's paperwork inside my dad's file and had "no idea" how it got mixed up. Finally KITTY told us we were able to set up a payment plan to pay the balance but when I called to set it up, I was told by another staff member that they do not accept payment plans and the balance would have to be paid in full before we could receive the death certificates. When KITTY was asked about the payments plans she stated "well we aren't going to refuse any money so pay whatever. " VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, UNORGANIZED and NOT empathetic at all. Go anywhere else but to Savin. The only reason we went there is because they had done previous services for my family. My sister and I are young and my dad's death was unexpected so we really didn't know anything better but now we do.

Mr. Lyons met with my father, sister, and I and explained everything thoroughly. He assisted my dad in choosing the casket and making arrangements for flowers, the obituary, and even contacted the church for us to make an appt. Mr. Lyons was kind and considerate. He did not try to sell us anything extra, nor did he recommend the highest price items. He was fair and professional. My mother's body was prepared for her funeral with the care and dignity. Mr. Lyons and his staff did an excellent job. Her makeup was perfect, as was her hair. She looked beautiful and natural, and I'm certain she would have been very pleased. Violating our privacy and protection. Article was placed on their website, the Philly Tribune, and google. When asked to have it removed, daughter told me it was my responsibility. If you care about your loved one, this is not the place to go. As it should be investigated for theft amongst other things.
