Still waiting on my deposit to be returned since 12/18/2023. They seem great at first but they will run your credit a lot; they ran mine 5 times. I decided not to take the lesser option and the sales Rep Jason has yet to reply to my request for the $500 deposit to be returned. Very questionable on are they a scam? I hope this review helps someone not to be so trustin.... I went with friends to see what they had on the lot and there was quite a selection and the prices were fair to good on what I was looking for. While being a tag along and getting my own ideas, Sean was the salesperson and such a great guy. He was very knowledgeable and down to earth. You could tell he was truthful by the comments he made. Wished Sean worked elsewhere as I will never buy from this company. During the visits, I over heard phone calls and witnessed customers that were extremely unhappy and the general manager using very colorful language. His responses to the customers needs were unchristian like. Once I saw the hypocrisy and the way management acts towards issues that arise, buying anything from this company is not an option. We had a great out of town buying experience with Terry Vaughn RV - Spring. Adam worked with us and got us a great deal on the RV that we were looking at and didn't try to sell us a different one. We were afraid since we were coming from far out of town that there would be unexpected fees when we arrived but Adam had advised us of all the fees upfront. The RV was ready when they advised it would be and the paperwork was completedly quickly. Phil was a very straight forward and easy to understand financing person. We stayed in town for a few days to make sure everything was working as it should. We did find a few items to fix such as our AC fan hitting the shroud, the fridge latch not connecting correctly and couple other minor things. We called them and they said to bring it in when we were ready, when we brought it in on Friday, they started working on it immediately and had us back on the road in 30 mins. They were fantastic and really listened and worked with us. We're sad to leave since we are 2000 miles away. read more

With everyone buying RV now I expected to have to wait for warranty work done. It was ready in a 7 days time which I think is excellent. I had expected to have to wait a month. All repairs were done in a timely manner. Very nice server manager. This is our second RV and after dealing with the other camper place, Holiday world, was leery about buying from Terry Vaughn RV. I can tell you this Terry Vaughn is so much better! Really no comparison . Would differently recommend them. read more

Do not expect any help from this company once you drive that RV off the lot. You are on your own. If your fridge breaks down after just 3 months on a brand new RV, so what. And did you know that if there was someone who could work on it,,, they won't. Because they can't get paid. So your warranty isn't worth the ink that's used on the paper. Buyer beware. read more

I do not recommend anyone to buy an RV here, STAY AWAY!! I bought a brand new RV from here, I paid 29k cash for it. During the process of looking at rv's the salesman was good at working with me until I purchased my RV. After day on of sleeping in my all climate RV I called the salesman explaining that the heater wasn't barely blowing any heat out of vents in living room and kitchen area. The weather was 35 degrees outside but the camper wouldn't heat this trailer. I was told to try certain things to correct issue but nothing. I called everyday for 5 days complaining about this RV. I explained that I even asked questions about this RV being able to stay warm in cold weather and cool in hot weather, salesman said that this RV was a very nice camper that he'd put or sell his own family in. After bringing my RV back for their service department to look at this camper they said that there is nothing that they can do and that's how this model camper it. I expressed my concerns to salesman Sean and his manager Matt but I was treated poorly during this process. After everything this camper wasn't even used for a full week, I explained how I work out of town and live in this while I'm out of town working and that my family will visit and I cannot have them staying in a camper that will not heat. I asked to get a different camper as this RV wasn't even a week old and nothing could be done to correct this issue. I was willing to upgrade to a higher priced RV so my family and myself could be comfortable while staying in the camper. Again I paid 29k cask for this camper but the salesman Sean and his manager Matt said that I would only get 19k towards another RV. This is ridiculous especially after having issues from day one, I explained all of my needs for a RV and was insured that this RV would be suitable. Racist employees as well as uncaring. Marty (Martin Dorio) who is the General Manager is so unaware of what is going on. He's constantly on medication and taking it while working there so when a customer needs to speak to him he doesn't fully comprehend the questions or tasks that's being asked. The sales employees makes racist remarks towards all people; mainly Muslims, Hispanics, and people of the Asian Descent. A lot of people complain about the Service department but there are so many issues because of the problem RV's that they are purchasing and reselling to potential customers. ***Please be aware and cautious of going through this company. They were knowledgeable, fair, helped us find exactly what needed and walked us through every step. I bought my RV from terry Vaughn In Alvin almost 8 months ago. The salesman was very nice and worked very hard to make his sale. Unfortunately this is where the hard work stops. The stove in my brand new Highlander RV didn't work. I called and reported as soon as I got set up at site. They said that it would be a couple weeks for part to come in. Having to wait is not the problem, the problem is that after 5 months of waiting someone finally came out to fix the stove. Now this would have been great news accept that the part he had was not the right one. The gentleman informed me he would be taking care of the problem personally, as soon as the right part showed up he would bring out a fix it. Well that was 3 months ago and my stove still doesn't work, the exhaust fan above the stove now doesn't work. I have been EXTREMELY patient with them and at this point I am done. This has got to be the worst service I have ever had with any business ever!!!!!!!!!!! Our sales guy really took the time to find out what we needed/wanted and made it happen. The finance/delivery process was a breeze and Phil was with us the whole way through. Bought a TT from Terry Vaughn everything went perfect! Very happy with the service and our travel trailer had no issues.

They're quick to get a deposits regardless if you are approved. Once you pay the deposit you then get to apply for credit and promptly sent home to wait for an answer. "Don't worry we will call you tomorrow morning with an answer". The following day after hours in the PM I recieved I recieved a voice mail that they call back the next morning for information on financing . No call in the morning hours so I drop in to check on the status. Was told the finance guy (who said he would call me that day), was off. They assured me they would call the first thing the next morning. The next morning came and went with no call. I again dropped in that afternoon and finally met with the finance guy. After a few days of waiting I finally get told that he could not get financing for the agreed to price. So instead of me offering to give more of a down payment I went to a different location and purchased a new RV without any hassles read more

3/10/17 terry vaughv rv General manager Dustin and service manager Rudy lie to you and totally blow you off..I have purchased 60.000 worth of rvs.my 2nd rv six days off the lot I have big issues with refridge/lighting/hot water heater. Rudy tells me well have someone right out to you,general manager Dustin well give you a credit card over the phone to take care of service call to send you a tech.Never happened at all,call Dustin ,oh I lost my phone /rudy no answer for weeks... Highland ridge the manufacture is totally useless and rude.I submitted invoices after repair heritage glen says we cant pay you we need pictures/go back in and undo the repair? Invoice not detailed enough...not so happy its fixed let us pay for it like a real customer service dept should do six days off the lot... To date I have received excuses/lies/and no money for repair costs or the multiple service charges to have a tech from a local company come out. The worst bad advertising is word of mouth. read more

This is not the experience that I had on my new 2016 KZ Venom 4013TK when it caught fire and I had to take it to the Spring location for maintenance. Between the new service manager that didn't know a thing about RV's, the really inexperienced techs, and the general manager Marty Dorio it was a nightmare. They would call and explain what was wrong with something on the RV and it didn't make sense, they didn't communicate and keep me up to date on the progress, they did things in my RV that just wasn't appropriate ~went up on a weekend to get something out of RV and saw what they had been doing~. I would recommend the Alvin location as long as David is still there, but I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THE SPRING LOCATION. I filed a formal complaint with the KZ - V.P. of Sales so she could have a discussion directly with Terry Vaughn since you can never get to speak with this man directly. I've purchased two travel trailers from Terry Vaughn RVs in Spring, TX. The first in 2004 and our second in May 2011. We bought both from the same salesman, John Zuehlke, who was very professional and pleasant to work with both times. He is very up front and honest, and never once tried to play any sleazy salesman games. Once I chose the trailer I wanted, I got online quotes from several dealers around the state on the same trailer set-up just to see what prices were, and John beat all of them without even knowing I had done that. He also searched around for a great finance rate and even called the banks personally to discuss my personal situation and convince them to finance me on my terms. He even threw in a free hitch for my truck. If I were rating them on sales alone, they would get 5 stars, but their service department ruined it. When we took delivery of our new trailer on May 3, 2011, we noticed a hole in the pantry door as well as a tear in one of the decals outside. Their service department noted it and took pictures, and said they would order replacements and call me when they came in. I called a month later to check on these items, and was told nothing had been ordered for me and they had no pictures of what I was describing. Luckily, the guy who did the walk-through with us on delivery remembered the damages and came out to take new pictures so they could order the items under warranty. Another month passed and I called again to check on it. Told me they had not received the parts but would check on it and call me right back. THREE WEEKS LATER, I got the "right back" call to let me know the parts were in. I asked the girl who called how long they would need to keep my trailer and she said they could probably install the items "same day", so I made an appointment for the next week (5 business days notice). I dropped the trailer off with them on Tuesday, Aug. 16, expecting to get a call from them in the next day or two telling me it was ready to be picked-up. Today (Aug. 25), I called them since I have not heard from them, and they said they have not even started working on my trailer yet. I explained that I had waited 3 months for them to get the parts in, then given them a weeks notice that I was bringing the trailer in, and was told it would only take a day to install the parts. Their response was to the effect that "If you didn't tell us when you needed it back, then we don't make it a priority because we have a lot of units to work on." They now have it on their schedule, and said they "hope' to have it ready next Wednesday, 4 more business days from now. There are plenty of other shops that do warranty repairs on travel trailers, and Terry Vaughn RVs will not get another chance to ever work on my trailer again, nor will they get a recommendation from me. We purchase an rv back in 2014. Everything went smooth because we had our own financing through our credit union. Fast forward to 9/2017 and we are wanting to sell our camper. I called in and spoke to a salesman who says they can list it for consignment but I would need to speak to the general manager. I called 3 times for the general manager, left my name and number every time and never got a call back. The 4th time I called back another gentleman told me that the GM was on the lot but that he could help me. Was rude and condescending (maybe because I am a woman) but told me the opposite of what the first man told me and still wouldn't put me through to the GM. Service is horrible, once they make the sale you are nothing to them. read more

Bought a travel trailer from them in late spring of 2014. Purchase experience wasn't too bad. Since then it's been in the shop with them for almost 12 months over the course of 2 years. RV repairs typically take a while and that's been my expectation, but in 2 years I've not had the unit to use for nearly 12 months of that. Most recently a 6 month stint due to a bad roof on a nearly brand new unit and had to get a lawyer involved to resolve. Got trailer back in March of this year and it's already leaked water again and now can't even get it in to get it fixed. Been trying since mid May to get it in and now they won't even return a call. Look somewhere else for an RV. This dealership is not interested in good customer service after the sale. read more

I have never done this before but I thought I should let everyone know not to have your RV repaired at Terry Vaughn RV on 45. Customer service is awful! Our camper has been on their lot for 2 weeks waiting on AN ESTIMATE for repairs and after MANY phone calls to them and not one returned call we still don't have an estimate. My husband even went by there yesterday and the manager assured him he would get a call - 24 hours later they still haven't called. We are picking it up today and will find another repair service. read more
