In the three months we have had it, we have only been able to use it one time. The front door does not close properly and the gray tank does not work. Once we realized we had these issues we called Camping World in Katy and was told to speak to Shawn, the Service Manager. The first call was the first week of July. I am still calling as of this post trying to get in touch with Shawn. We've been told he will call us back, a message was sent to him, he was busy and he will email us, yet still nothing. So I'm paying for a brand new 5th Wheel I am unable to use because we can't get the help to fix the problem. I traveled nearly 3 hours to buy this camper and am unable to just drive up there, otherwise I would. They were very persistent in contacting us to make a sale, but leave you after that. He charged me $550.00 make ready fee for locks and keys. Delivered with 2 keys. 1 for storage bins and 1 for front door. None for the bedroom door, cargo bay door or gas cap for the generator. Got ready to cook breakfast and the pilot light in the oven didn't work. Nothing to hook up trailer at the park. Had to buy sewer line, electric cable, and water hose. Delivered with 1 20 lb propane bottle. Should have had 2 30 lb bottles. Had to buy a new battery just to try to level trailer as the delivery man pulled in jacked the trailer up with a jump box and took off. Found water in storage bin coming from a leaking sink faucet in the bathroom. Now I'm having to have rooftop ACs serviced and new gaskets put in them as well as cleaned. $700.00 for this, $200.00 for plumbing. $320.00 for hookup items. $59.00 for 2nd propane bottle. $17.00 for pilot light assembly. $1286.00 dollars above the cost of the trailer that was advertised as EVERYTHING WORKS READY TO GO. To start with we got a call a couple days before pickup from them with some sketch deal, wanting us to finance, pay interest for 1 year... "to help others who may not qualify"... Then, when doing paperwork he told us the tires were going to explode, and basically the entire camper would fall apart on the way home, so we needed to pay an extra $12K for his coverage... we didn't appreciate it at all.

Let me start with the fact that we should have stopped going a long time ago but there are some employees there that are good people and we did give them the benefit of the doubt. We have purchased 4 RVs from there hoping that things would change...they haven't. This is our bad. Having said that, here is the worst of it. About a year ago, we took our Class A in for service. After a TON of run around they had our RV for 5 MONTHS. At one point, we went in to see what was going io and nobody even knew where it was. One of the salesmen had to drive around and look for it. It was tucked away in the back on their lot. This is quite frankly unacceptable. There is no communication, there is one excuse after another, and nothing seems to get done until you throw a fit. On a recent trip, one of the things they fixed turns out wasn't fixed properly so back we go. Again after 5 weeks this time and the same runaround, they say they finally have it complete. But now, here is the kicker. Due to an error on their part, they are telling us due to an error on they made, they won't release our RV until we pay them $7,000. Yes, you read that right. They told us at the time (a year ago) that the claim on our warranty was approved so we paid the deductible and considered the matter closed. Apparently, they lied and the claim was not approved and expected us to pay for the work. This is the most SHADY business practice I have ever seen!!!! We will NEVER give Holiday World another penny of our money. We have hit our limit.
