I have gone to Teri's claws and paws for several years. Brian is the owner and he is impeccable at bathing Grooming and challenging dogs. I have a miniature Australian Shepherd who has multiple coats and some of you have dogs that need special cutting. Brian is the one to do this. Again he's incredible. He's trustworthy and I have no problem with him taking care of my dogs in his salon. Due to my one dog skin condition he sees Brian every two weeks. I can't say enough about this busines and his staff. They're all incredible. We recently moved out to Palm Desert and when it time comes time for my dogs to be cut, I'll make arrangements to drive to Orange to Brian. read more

I took my two terrier mixes for the first time. They did a great job! My dogs can be fussy and anti social but they took great care of them and even walked them to the dog park next to them. Both pups look absolutely great, followed precise instructions on haircut, very good grooming and they also put little bandanas on them. My family has been taking their pets to Terry's for as long as I can remember! When I finally moved out and got my own dog I thought I'd just take my beagle to Petsmart to get a bath (since there's not grooming/haircut involved). Bad idea! Every time I took her there she would smell dirty again within days and that is unacceptable for an indoor dog! My parents were watching her one weekend for me while I was on vacation and took her to Brian (current groomer at Terry's) and when I got home she smelled amazing! Her ears were all clean and her nails were trimmed and filed. Best part of it all - it's only $5 more than Petsmart and that's with my tip! Nice people, amazing job on the bath/nails/ears, she smells amazing and my pocket book is happy. Give them a try! You won't regret it! PS - for those of you needing your dogs cut as well my mom has a mini schnauzer and Brian always trims her to my mom's preference and they continue to bring her back as well because they are so pleased with his work. read more

I have a Wheaton terrier that is a bit crazy. And I went to petco first and the lady that cut her was exhausted and sweating and my dog looked horrible... So my first time @ terry's I was nervous. But he was confident and friendly. And when I got back a few hours later my dog was done and looked and smelled great! It was 50.00 for her and shes about 25 pounds. My mom started taking her little Havanese there too. And they charge 40.00 for her wash and cut. I just like the no frills, confident atmosphere. Very officiant. read more

I was never all that excited about her taking him to Petsmart and then recently someone in my family had a bad experience there with their dog so I decided to find somewhere else. I called the first page of places listed on Yelp and not only was Terry's the closest, they were also the least expensive. I have a 30ish pound beagle pit and he was $25 for wash, nails, ears and anal express. Not too shabby. The place is a little hidden. It's in a trailer in the parking lot behind a Vet on Tustin Ave. between the 22 and Palmyra. The staff was very friendly, helpful and he was ready before the time promised. I will definitely be bringing my dog here again! read more

I took my dog there twice, I in the neighborhood with my dog and stopped to make an appointment, my ALWAYS HAPPY dog turned into a shaking frightened mess when I carried him in with me, I was surprised by his reaction, I made the appointment for the third visit, but when I opened the screen door to leave my usually friendly happy dog darted out running as fast as he could to the car, by the time I reached the car to let him in he was panting & shaking, he couldn't get away from there fast enough. I've been taking my toy poodle here for almost 2 years now regularly. I love the service, and I love the cut she gets each time. They do get booked up, but I always call a week ahead of time and never have a problem getting in. She never has a problem getting dropped off and always seems happy when she leaves. Don't take your dogs there. I recently read the reviews from others and thought I would try it. One of my dogs had his anal area injured. No wonder he pooped everywhere. I'd taken him to be groomed before with no incidents. Obviously he was in pain and scared. Now I will need to incur a vet bill because of his injury. I also told them to just cut the mats out, not comb them. They disregarded this info. My other dog, the trim of her face was not good. Again the got a little to close in areas. Both of my babies seemed traumatized when I got them home. Yes, the price was good, but in the long run due to vet bill will cost me more. read more

I have taken all my dogs here for over 30 years. I knew the original owner, Terry, very well. She became like family. And, Brian, who now owns it is equally as great. The dogs I have had were really hard to groom. We originally had two (2) old English Sheepdogs, then a labradoodle and now another Labradoodle. All long hair dogs. My dogs have always been cut exactly the way I requested, I'm not over charged ever and usually I wait too long and my dogs would even be a bit matted too.
