Today Feb 22 2024 we had our sliding door replacement completed. Service manager David Dunn completed the removal and installation. The door is squarely mounted, caulked and foamed in place 100% The exterior moldings were fastened and caulked neatly. Both the door and screen roll very smoothly and latch with great ease. TDW is a rip off and their customer service stinks. Unless you enjoy being talked down to by their service reps and general managers.

A representative from TDW came out and talked at us for nearly two hours. He made some measurements outside, recommended sliders over double-hung, which made sense. Then he did some calculations and came up with an estimate. My husband and I didn't bite. He then told us, "it's a good thing it's May. We can save you some (I can't remember what it was) percent." We still didn't move. He gave us a military discount, which wasn't much. He offered us "interest free" financing and asked us if we were ready to sign a contract, since we (the decision-makers) were both present. He said the offer was good until two days later. We said we would think about it. He didn't look at the inside of our windows, and didn't tell us exactly what we would be getting for the price. I e-mailed him the next day and asked about what the estimate covered. He never responded, but called on the deadline day to see if we had any questions. We had siding and windows installed in the fall of 2012. In August of this year, we noticed several panels of siding have "bubbled". The finish of the siding is defective. We have contacted Terry's several times. The first time, they said they would be out to inspect it. They never came and we have received no response to our numerous requests. Once they have your money, they don't stand behind what they sell. Don't give them your business! You will regret it!! read more

I do not recommend Using TDW. We hired TDW on June 21st, 2018 to install new siding on a rental home. When work didn't start on time(6weeks) called to check when work would start, and reminded TDW that we need to give notice to the Tenants when work begins. Received a call at noon from TDW asking if they can start work the next day at 8am as a job got cancelled. Before I could get the tenants permission, material for the job was dropped of on the property. Upsetting the tenants from the start. We go out to inspect the property and they installed the wrong color siding around the windows and corners. Unable to come to terms over a $ discount, TDW is going to fix the color. On Monday sept 17, they return to fix siding. On Wednesday Terry immediately wants a check and threatening collections. Terry then texts insults and threats until he gets paid. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. On top of that, they claim to be "Christian". They give actual Christians a bad name. I do not recommend this company. Terry is very rude and unprofessional. Terry told me that business had been slow and he really wanted our business. I felt sorry for him so I said ok even though we had gotten a better bid somewhere else. We were closing on our house and told him we needed these windows replaced on time. We were assured the windows would be installed before closing. After they had not delivered the windows on time, I called him and told him we would like our deposit back and to cancel our order because we wanted to go with a company that would install by closing. He told me he would not refund my deposit and the windows would get installed when they got installed. He also called me my husband's girlfriend which of course was wrong. Because I owned a business under my maiden name, I had not legally changed my last name. I didn't feel that I had to explain that to him. It was none of his business. He said he didn't have to talk to me because I was just the girlfriend and not the homeowner. Inferior work and even worse customer service. Buyer beware! read more

So dissatisfied with the customer service of this company, it's truly not hard to be kind especially if you advertise as a "Christian" company, if you can't be kind please don't even put God on your company name....we have an infant in the home and my mother called about getting someone to look at our window that broke and without warning or saying they were coming, they showed up and only my brother was home and he didn't know what was going on, we would have been at home if we were warned that someone was coming. Then we called and rescheduled and no one ever came. Someone has been home every day except thanksgiving and they claimed they came on thanksgiving and then said no they didn't. Besides. We had an APPOINTMENT for someone to come and a time and no one showed up. Then when we call they are so rude and claim someone's been here twice when that's not the case. People have lives I thought when you make an appointment that's when you come ? I'm extremely disappointed. Please do better. It's not hard to be kind and follow through with what you say. Please take a look at how you operate and treat people like you would want to be treated. Our experience with Terry's Discount Windows has been incredibly frustrating. We ordered windows in May and waited 6 weeks before they were delivered. Come to find out they didn't have all the parts needed and we had to wait another 6 weeks for additional parts. Three months after we placed the order the windows were installed, but didn't operate properly. Weeks later, after a visit from the ProVia rep, it was determined that they'd been sized incorrectly. The prescribed fix was to remove the windows, trim and re-install. Two weeks have passed since then and the salesman is not returning repeated calls regarding finishing the job. We would not use Terry's again and would not recommend them. read more
