It takes about 6-8 weeks once you order. We had problems with our install on 2 of the trips. The second install the guy left caulk in 2 spots on our hardwood floor. We never called about this because we are planning to resand them. This is very careless on his part because he did have tarps down. The 3rd install the guy who put one of the octagons in never leveled the window. So as they were ready to leave and my husband checked the work it was obviously off center without even placing a level. The guy fixed it before he left. Now that the work is done, we are happy. Windows are beautiful. Just make sure to check everything over before they leave.

The salesman knew the product and did not try to weasel us into buying a bunch of stuff we didn't need or want. 6-8 week lead time on delivery (actually only about 5 weeks). Immediate appointment for install. Installer showed up a little early (Yippee). BTW, returning customers get some significant rewards. He removed the screen door; removed the old door, frame and locks. Installed the new frame and door and reinstalled the screen door. This guy was wonderful, super clean and put up plastic sheeting (no damage to walls) inside to keep all the mess in the foyer. Spotless cleanup inside and out. He did everything but scrub the floor. He hauled away the old door, frame and all packaging. Very polite, nice man. Wonderful experience!

It's a builders grade glass door, so the lower quality of the door made it more difficult to repair. All of the other companies we obtained bids from said it couldn't be repaired and quoted 2500 to 3000 for a replacement. Peter came over on a Sunday morning and repaired it expertly. Our front window had a broken sash and required a complete replacement. The replacement cost Peter quoted was a reasonable price and he took out the old damaged window and replaced it with a new one, spending time caulking and finishing the job. Peter responded quickly and provided a quote before beginning the job. I highly recommend Pat Builders.

I wanted to use a local business because I believe in supporting local businesses. I had the…read moresalesman come out to show me options for the service door on my garage. The salesman was thorough and complete. I chose all the upgrades because I wanted the best possible door and frame and it cost over $2K. It was when the install came is where problems started. The old door was ripped out quickly and completely. Good. The installer then started to work off of a flipped over garbage can. I let him use my workbench. I checked in every now and then and towards the end, I came out and he was drilling into the latch with a large drill bit. I stopped him and even bought out my Dremel for him to use but he wouldn't saying he had to use his own tools. Long story short, he screwed up the height of the latch inset, drilled out all the wood and it still wouldn't lock correctly, daylight was coming in the garage with the door closed in the latch area, the frame was completely drilled out and lost strength. I ended up having to shave the latch inset and redo the wood behind it for added strength. It is still not "right" but I got it to work. Nobody ever followed up to see if I was happy. Not the salesman, not the office, nobody. I felt after paying over $2K, I should have gotten a better install and a follow up. Giving three stars for the quality of the door which is very solid and great security for the garage, but the install was not so great and there was zero follow up. Its been about two years now.

They were customed stained and they did an amazing job with the staining. They were able to match the wood stain I currently have. A couple of years later I renovated my kitchen. I had a single entry back door and wanted to convert to a sliding door out to patio. My house is a brick home, and their installers were able to make the opening to fit a sliding door. They were able to match the door stain to my windows and everything looks perfect! The installers went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. They even went as far as to building temporary steps to lead to my outside patio. I will most definitely recommend them for your home window and door project!

We were unaware that we would have to make our decision before he left our house because we had planned on shopping around and they were our first quote. This was very frustrating because we were not planning on making a decision that day. We went ahead and signed the contract when my husband was pretty convinced we were getting some nice discounts, and I had checked them out on Facebook and Google and read a lot of positive reviews. We had solid communication with Kraz through Conrad and we only had to wait about 6 weeks from signing the contract to getting the custom made window installed. Conrad told me this was the normal timeframe at the time of the estimate so I was happy that. Justin and Joe installed the windows and they were extremely professional, respectful and hard-working. They worked from 9am till 2pm and any time I'd look outside, they were hard at work. I was very impressed with them. Installation was definitely a five star experience. I'll be honest that it is hard to figure out the rating for this review because we had a great experience with all employees we dealt with and we really do love our windows. However, they are over-priced. Weeks after we signed the contract, we got some estimates from a couple people (for the sake of curiosity) doing other work in our home. Kraz was more than DOUBLE. They do have a three day cancellation window (which was never discussed verbally but I noticed it when we signed the contract). However, that happened between a weekend and a holiday, and we couldn't get another company out in that time. From this point on, my husband and I agreed to never go with a company that forces you to sign with them at the moment of the estimate. Live and learn. That should have been disclosed from the start--when we set up our appointment with the woman canvassing the neighborhood. We've had different estimates from different kinds of companies in our home since then (we are remodeling a couple rooms) and Kraz was the only business that had this policy (but I know there are many others). I will say though, that the windows are absolutely beautiful and they did a great job. Our house looks totally different on the outside we love the transformation. The very cold draft from our old window is all gone. All employees were very friendly and professional. Plus, we have a lifetime warranty, and I have faith that they stand behind that promise. If you are wondering if I'd recommend this company, I'd say yes...just shop around and get other estimates BEFORE talking with Kraz. And be prepared to sign the same day!

This company worked with our lender to have us pay some now and pay the remainder upon release of the loan proceeds. We signed a contract in May and was told 4-6 weeks to get the materials and it would be a 1-2 day job. Six weeks was June 23rd. They came on June 26th and 27th. The garage looks great except they did not measure for the window for the garage for 3 weeks after we signed the contract. We had to point out some areas that needed new wood which was not originally not caught by the installer crew. Then we were informed that the window was not there. Upon calling the company today, we are told that 7/16/26 is when the window would be in. There is no urgency given to our situation. My husband is disabled and the improvements to our home are to help with his accessibility. We cannot start with any other work until the loan proceeds are released. We thought they cared and would be diligent and on time. The work quality is there but the consideration for others timelines(like getting things done before winter) is totally lacking. We were considering them for additional work on our home but not now.
