During this time my daughter was having extreme melt downs about going to school. The second time my daughter came home with a HUGE LUMP on her head and told us exactly whats been going on. A boy was punching her in the head. we called, talked to administrators, and talked to teacher Ms Paige in person. STILL NO INCIDENT REPORT WAS MADE and the teacher said basically she has no clue what we were talking about but she would keep an eye out. At this point i was in contact with a few employees besides the teacher on a personal level who confirmed exactly what happened and what child was doing this behavior to multiple kids and it was not being handled properly. They refused to refund the security deposit, charged us an additional two weeks that the security should have covered, then called us for more money staring we didn't pay for two weeks prior to withdrawing our daughter (impossible, we have all bank statements). Ella from billing was supposed to contact us and never did. We were supposed to be supplied with the owners phone number and email, and it never was given to us. We pulled our child because the program was ran horribly, not because we just decided to. Our child was not being protected which means we should have got our security deposit back, not it basically stolen from us than trying to charge an additional month. This place will scheme you right out of your money, take advantage of children's speech delays, and not take proper protocol to protect your children. On top of safety issues there are health issues where protocol is not being followed. Kids who are sick are never sent home even if they have a fever, coughing, and snot running down there face. In three months we got the flu twice, RSV twice, and Covid once. So your child will be consistently ill. MULTIPLE issues coming from every department in this place. Keep ur child safe and healthy- skip kiddie academy. The second i pulled my daughter from this place and put into a different preschool program she started thriving instead of declining in every area. I could only assume they stopped doing incident reports because another child had 18 of them with bodily injuries and no one had any answers. This is illegal and god only knows what has happened to my child during this duration of time since nothing was ever reported.

Now our first daughter is four and a half, and when our second daughter was born (she just turned 2), we knew she'd be happy and well-taken-care-of (and well-loved) there, too! Our second had some gross motor skill delays and had certain special requirements for her care as an infant, and we might have worried that she would have a hard time at full-time daycare, but we knew, based on the care we'd seen with other kids who needed a little help (some kids had their PTs visit during school), we knew that she would be just fine. She is a bright and happy kid, and we were so impressed and grateful for the many ways in which the Directors and her teachers in the infant rooms on up worked with her every day to keep her mind happy, stimulated and busy with age-appropriate activities even when she couldn't crawl when others were starting to walk. When she could crawl but not yet walk, but many classmates were walking, her teachers again made certain she could participate both inside the classroom and on the playground (and not be squashed by the walkers :D). Now she is walking proudly and hasn't looked back! :D We are forever grateful for all the special love and care for her! Both have been attending since they were a few months old, and we continue to be impressed by not only the care, but the educational curriculum, the safety and security of the school, the activities aimed specifically at each child's development, and even the menu! The directors and every teacher learns every child's name, and the girls love being greeted when they arrive. They also love the playground and projects and special fun days (and my preschooler is in Cub Camp for her second year, something she looks forward to), and I love that the curriculum is presented in a way that makes it fun to learn, and that each child comes home with a paper saying what she did, what she ate, how she napped, etc. each day. Most of all, though, you can tell that everyone loves and cares for your children, and it's a safe, nurturing environment that my husband and I feel comfortable having my girls attend. Mice dropping on the floor . Staff let children eat out the floor and swallow unknown items. They're never staffed properly . Bad quality bad service . Don't send your child there to Holbrook .

There was very little structure or planning throughout the day, which created a chaotic environment for the children. Rather than focusing on improving the classroom environment, staff suggested that my child might have a diagnosis, even though they are not qualified to make medical or developmental assessments. I found this inappropriate and concerning. If staff have developmental concerns, they should communicate specific observations respectfully and encourage parents to speak with their child's pediatrician--not suggest diagnoses. I expected a supportive, well-organized, and professional environment, but that was not my experience.

If a child is there that's paid for by the state, that child can do what ever they want to your child. All she cares about that the kids that are paid by the state, stays there. she also disrespects her own staff because she's "head person" and treats them unfair. I have never in my life have I felt that if I dropped off my child, will they be safe. Never again

I expect my child to get sick (which is nobody's fault) but she was out for 1.5 weeks and the only time the director reached out to me was to ask for payment, not a concern or knowledge that my daughter was out for so long. COVID came along, the owner/directly withheld money from our tuition as cleaning fees and credit. I really did not want to go back but covid was a mess to find new daycares so I let both my children go for the summer to utilize the credit that she withheld from me. They leave their school bags outside in the sun before pick up time, a possible "rodent" or animal chewed through my daughter's bag (I don't care about the bag but it's kinda gross to have rodents crawling my children's belongings) but according to the owner, it's impossible. So it must have been either my pet goldfishes or 3 year old son who chewed it out...since it was "impossible"to have rodents outside their building. Friday was pizza day. I gave pizza money but they miscommunicated somehow and didn't feed my daughter. When I tried to talk to the owner, she put her hand in my face and told me "it would never happen again and I had to drop it". Even if I had forgotten to pay, would it be so terrible to feed a child with the half slice of pizza you ordered if she did not have anything to eat? In the beginning of the summer, the teacher told me my son had an accident in his pants, fine, whatever, it happens with kids. Two months later, they returned a bag of soiled clothes to me. It would have been better if they just tossed it. Send in labeled lip balm and sun screen they say, it will be applied if they go out later in the day. Forget it, by the end of the summer, all my sunscreens were brand new. There were many great teachers that worked here but most have left. It's a beautiful new and clean place with lots of potential to be great, unfortunately, when you only look at $ and not use your heart to care for the children that parents trust you with, it will show right through. I spent a few seasons here because I really wanted to like it, all the parents including myself were ultimately disappointed in the management of this daycare.

And she also said it was "weird" that I asked her if they have cameras that families can use to check in on their babies during the day. This was a deal breaker for us we chose another facility who was willing to be transparent with you. transparency is so important when you are dealing with infant parents.
