I have manners and I'm a college graduate so I would never ever do something like that. He also took a phone call from his 100 year old grandmother in front of me which was very unprofessional as well. He admitted his approach was "direct" but it's more condescending and rude to me. It will be draining to tell him "gentler" over and over again and I'm not stupid I know people are not mind readers but I just get my thoughts down written better than I do verbally when I'm upset and that's what he didn't get. Plus I've been through having to repeat myself to people like him and it is mentally draining and exhausting so I thought it's not worth working with him or moving forward with this company since it's going to be a waste of time and money. It was a zoom call and he encouraged me to work with his colleague who has a "gentle approach" when I want to be careful and not waste my money on something that isn't going to help me in the long run.

She is a bright child in many ways, but we could never seem to get any traction with our many attempts to help her read. We worked with numerous tutors, tried vision therapy and worked many hours with her at home. Eventually we realized that she may have an undiagnosed learning disorder. We are now in our fourth month of tutoring at the READ Learning Center and we are seeing results. The admin and staff are welcoming, supportive and quick to respond to all questions and concerns. We are feeling very grateful for the wonderful people at the READ Learning Center and the great work they are doing for our daughter and others.

As COVID has progressed we went to telehealth which has been even more amazing, because instead of working with just my child, they helped me understand the techniques and implement them. I tell our aba therapist what we have been struggling with and she provides us with a strategy to implement. We have made so much progress in 9 months.our therapist has been literally my rock and my angel she has helped both me and my daughter through the difficult challenges of ASD. My daughter who once ran off in the store and refused a cart now sits in the cart nicely or walks and holds my had without running away. She brushes her teeth, tolerates more food on her plate, and has come follow 2 step instructions, and so much more. They are not rigid in their techniques or forceful which I love. The faculty is incredibly knowledgeable and really care about the student's success. On top of typical curriculum, they teach them life skills, like how to stay within a budget at the grocery store. They also teach them music, art, and go on field trips monthly. Additionally, they do not give homework but encourage family reading time. And more importantly, during parent-teacher conferences they not only discuss areas of improvement but also what they plan to do to help your child succeed. I can't say enough about the school. It has so much outdoor space for the kids to play and explore, and the fact that there are visiting peacocks and chickens wandering around just adds to the charm. My son loves bringing home little nature "souvenirs" like feathers and cool rocks and sticks he finds at school, and they've become prized possessions in his room. The atmosphere is really calm and peaceful, which makes it a wonderful learning environment. The small class sizes are another huge plus and allow the teachers to give each student the attention they need. The staff here genuinely care about the kids, both academically and emotionally. Despite being previously enrolled in preschool, he was quite shy and introverted when he first started kindergarten.
