Claims to be in a profession and educated about helping adults with autism but he was very unprofessional by questioning my intelligence about stuff, his tone was very harsh with me, when he said don't text or email him like a "crazy person" that was very inappropriate. I have manners and I'm a college graduate so I would never ever do something like that. He also took a phone call from his 100 year old grandmother in front of me which was very unprofessional as well. He admitted his approach was "direct" but it's more condescending and rude to me. It will be draining to tell him "gentler" over and over again and I'm not stupid I know people are not mind readers but I just get my thoughts down written better than I do verbally when I'm upset and that's what he didn't get. Plus I've been through having to repeat myself to people like him and it is mentally draining and exhausting so I thought it's not worth working with him or moving forward with this company since it's going to be a waste of time and money. It was a zoom call and he encouraged me to work with his colleague who has a "gentle approach" when I want to be careful and not waste my money on something that isn't going to help me in the long run.

Before finding this school, we tried a couple of other school settings that just weren't the right fit for his needs. From the moment he started here, everything felt different--in the best way. The level of care, attention, and dedication from the staff is outstanding. The daily check-ins gave my son the consistency and support he needed, and the communication with me as a parent was always clear, thoughtful, and reassuring. I always felt informed, included, and confident that he was in the best hands. Most importantly, my son achieved milestones here that I truly believe wouldn't have been possible anywhere else. The staff took the time to understand him as an individual and supported his unique needs in a way that helped him grow, both academically and personally. If you're looking for a school that genuinely cares and provides the extra attention children may need to thrive, I would highly recommend this one. It has made such a meaningful difference in our lives, and I'm incredibly grateful for everything they've done.

The staff genuinely care about the whole student, taking the time to understand each child and provide the support they need to succeed. They worked closely with our family, and I always felt heard and supported whenever questions or challenges came up. Because of that strong foundation, he was able to transition back to a traditional school setting and is now on track to graduate. We're incredibly grateful for the role this school played in his journey.

The faculty is incredibly knowledgeable and really care about the student's success. On top of typical curriculum, they teach them life skills, like how to stay within a budget at the grocery store. They also teach them music, art, and go on field trips monthly. Additionally, they do not give homework but encourage family reading time. And more importantly, during parent-teacher conferences they not only discuss areas of improvement but also what they plan to do to help your child succeed. I can't say enough about the school. I definitely recommend coming by to do a tour and see all of the amazing things they have to offer.

It has so much outdoor space for the kids to play and explore, and the fact that there are visiting peacocks and chickens wandering around just adds to the charm. My son loves bringing home little nature "souvenirs" like feathers and cool rocks and sticks he finds at school, and they've become prized possessions in his room. The atmosphere is really calm and peaceful, which makes it a wonderful learning environment. The small class sizes are another huge plus and allow the teachers to give each student the attention they need. The staff here genuinely care about the kids, both academically and emotionally. I've been amazed at how the teachers, staff and even the other students have really helped my son come out of his shell. Despite being previously enrolled in preschool, he was quite shy and introverted when he first started kindergarten. He's now really flourishing and every day I can see the positive impact everybody at Almondale is having on him. I can't say enough good things about the staff and teachers. They're kind, attentive, and genuinely care about each student. My son isn't just another kid in a classroom; the staff and teachers truly take the time to understand his strengths and challenges and work with him every day to help him thrive, which is something I really value. Almondale Academy has been a perfect fit for our son, and I'm so glad we made the choice to enroll him here. If you're looking for a nurturing, supportive, and academically solid school, I highly recommend checking it out.
