I had to come back to update my previous review, not because of Tesla but because of my most recent experience with Julian, the service provider assigned to maintenance my vehicle. He was absolutely amazing. He took his time to listen to my concerns and address them in manner which was easily understood. Thank you, Julian.

Our local Tesla dealer and service center is unprofessional and unpleasant. Tesla delights, Owings Mills Tesla underwhelms.

Oil change completed in a decent time, maybe an hour or shorter. I paid the price listed online, no bait & switch or hidden charges and I was on my way. I arrived for my scheduled appointment at 10:00 a.m. and was advised of a three-hour wait, which I accepted. However, when that estimate stretched beyond four hours without any update or explanation, it became frustrating. Many other customers waiting for routine services appeared to be experiencing similar delays. Delays are understandable, but failing to proactively communicate revised timelines demonstrates a lack of respect for customers' time. Simple measures such as periodic updates, text notifications, or more realistic wait-time estimates would significantly improve the customer experience.

Koon's had it for about a half hour and told me I had spilled motor oil there was no leak and assured me they had cleaned all of the buildup off of my vehicle. Let me say, both the engine oil pan and engine oil fill are on the passenger side of the vehicle. The transfer case and transmission are in the drivers side middle. I immediately drove it home and checked. They actually did nothing. I ended up cleaning it all myself. At my 60k mile appointment the same buildup was back. This time I called Heritage Toyota in Owings Mills. Before I got home, the Heritage technician had sent me a VIDEO of underneath my vehicle detailing everything he'd found INCLUDING a faulty gasket between the transfer case and my transmission. Thank you Heritage Toyota! Thank you Koon's of Westminster for doing absolutely nothing and letting me drive an extra 30k miles with a leaky transfer case.

That dealership determined that the work that Heritage Owings Mills was supposed to do and received payment for had not been done.

I understand that a used car is purchased as is, having said that, there was a fair amount of body damage. The only area that concerned us was some damage that resulted in some body rust. When asked about the rust area, the salesperson told us that it would be taken care of under the "rust protection plan" offered with a certified used car. We did not think to get that in writing because it was covered by the warranty. When my daughter took the car to have the rust area fixed, she was told that it wasn't covered under the warranty because it wasn't caused by a manufacturer defect. When she tied to contact the salesperson, he longer works there. The sales manager wouldn't call her back. When she called and was able to get to speak to them, they told her that the business manager would call her back within the hour, of course they didn't call. If your salesperson says something is covered and it isn't, the company should be responsible to take care of it. If you don't like getting the run around, don't purchase from Koons. There are plenty of other Kia dealerships in the area.

You get a complimentary wash with service and just bringing it in. I like the video review of the mechanic going over your vehicle and pointing out issues or potential repairs or issues to watch. I was able to pay online. As with many dealership service centers the cost is inflated. I needed a rear window washer blade for $20 (purchased from parts) but was quoted $106 for one. I was quoted a dust filter for $236 and paid $36 (purchased at the dealership parts). They sent other quotes that were declined all totally $4k. Just do a little research prior to going to the dealership. Oh the service drive thru will install wiper blades as a courtesy. I saved $180 just purchasing the parts and installing.

Future Customers: If you have any issues with this dealership, do not think you are alone or that…read morethey are too big. This dealership is VERY SHADY; they will lie to you openly and then leave you hanging after the deal. They are a bunch of criminals hiding behind titles, so please be very cautious. Request documents to be printed out. ALWAYS TEXT do not take phone calls. They will try to get you on the phone during negotiations. DO NOT DO IT. They are very very shady they will deny anything they say. Do not, I repeat, do not go into the dealership until you've reviewed any contract. They will purposely make you wait, creating an environment where you feel rushed. If you suspect any wrongdoing, please help yourself and other customers by reporting them to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), Federal Trade Commission FTC, and Maryland Attorney General's Office. Narrative: Prior to entering the dealership I had negotiated $876 with no money down on a E350 lease with Lucy Ynn (At least that's what I thought) During this negotiation I informed them I wanted to trade in the vehicle I was driving at the time. They provided me 35,500 and informed me that through trade tax savings I would ultimately get approximately 37K with the remaining balance being paid off by me which was approximately 3,800 dollars. Prior to entering the dealership I requested a physical copy of the contract which they never provided. That should have been my first warning. when I got to the dealership they presented me a sheet that showed how much I would have to pay in order to satisfy my remaining lease balance. I further questioned/verified that the money shown due at signing would be utilized to satisfy my balance. Lucy Ynn confirmed it would. The following day I go to the dealership to pick up the car and sign documents. They had me waiting hours for "the car to be ready". When I enter the finance department, I requested again a physical copy of the lease and they told me they were busy and that he would go over the lease. I relied on him thinking he was acting in good faith. (Benjamin Sith) During this time I once again asked if the money I was paying would satisfy my lease balance along with first months. He reassured me that it would. I signed the documents on his reliance. Once again after signing and having some issues with my bank I confirmed/questioned again if the money I was paying was to sastify lease. He reassured me again. At that time I didn't think much of it. Fast forward a couple months later, while attempting to sell vehicle. I observed a payoff balance that was much higher than negotiated. Intially I thought it was a mistake. After being referred by Lucy Ynn to reach out to her sales manager Jonathan Logue. They denied everything that was negotiated and rolled my prior lease balance into the new lease/purchase price of the car. They further stated, that the money I used was a down payment towards my new lease & not to satisfy my prior lease balance. I would show messages and other documentation however we are under litigation. After court date I will update review with documents & messages. Moral of the story: Be very very cautious, these people are dirty. If you've had issues report it to the FTC, CFPB and attorney generals office. Don't be afraid to take them to civil court. I would encourage future customers to go to Mercedes Benz of Annapolis. From my experience they are honest, transparent, and a VOLUME dealership.
