The dealership suggested that I purchase a Roadwire leather kit and have L & S install it. I did just that and the results were impeccable. Recently, the Mrs and I took our 23-year-old Toyota 4-Runner to them. L & S replaced the carpeting and headliner since the originals had been damaged by water intrusion caused by a leaking sunroof. They completely stripped the interior and disinfected it prior to installing the new carpet and headliner. Our " baby" (which we purchased new in 1999) is gorgeous. Don't trust your vehicle (auto, truck, boat, or aircraft) to amateurs. L & S is the ONLY place to take it. So when I recieve a certified letter from a recovery towing company that my car was towed there by this shop I was shocked.This had to be a mistake.I went and paid to get my car towed back to my house it was at his shop under a warranty for a head gasket not anything else.The warranty company has confirmed the same when it comes to reaching out to them and no response. I WENT TO THE SHOP TODAY TO CLARIFY THIS MATTER.And the owner John Powers confirmed he had the car towed he said warranty company denied and said work was not covered he said he attempted to contact me .Remember I have been a customer since 2023 he had numerous ways to contact me I live 15 minutes away he lied to me about trying to contact me there us no email no text no voice mail no miss call and I confirmed with warranty company the claim was not denied. This company got in trouble with the city code enforcement for having to many cars on the property so buyer Beware he may be open for business but I would not leave your car unattended at this company. They seem like they worked pretty fast with the fast daily stuff but these days no time for classic "projects" unless you look like you're going to spend a lot of money with them. 4 months is what I had to wait for no results. Tyson kept on bringing up the brakes that needed to be done when I brought it in for fuel pressure/ vacuum issues. You can usually upsell more easily After** the work is actually done. I have known about Star Import for a while now, and have used them before for some A/C work…read more This time around, my A/C was definitely out, a year after it had been serviced for the A/C coolant escaping. When I had that service a year ago, we had placed a tracer dye in the system so that we could (hopefully) figure out where the leak actually came from. This time around, we found it, or at least we think it has been found. Turned out to be a couple of seals that had probably gone bad, so they were serviced when I brought the car in. It took them about three hours to perform the entire process, from diagnosis to completion of service. The shop is a Mercedes specialist, and they know the cars well. The prices are right, and the customer service is good. So long as I own a Mercedes, this will be the place it goes to for work.
