Within a few minutes he texted me and told me he was on the way...We were so grateful because it was dusk and we were terrified of being on the side of the road after dark on that long stretch of road in the rain while big rigs and cars were speeding by. There is a restaurant in the marina. Food was delicious. All the staff we encountered were very nice and hospitable. Rented boats, kayaks and water toys. Very easy to do. This place is very pet friendly. We brought our black lab with us. If you can snag one of these 5 cabins you will not be disappointed. We can't wait to come back. Note: the cabins are actually floating on the water. If you are prone to motion sickness be aware.

One of the main reasons we rented the boat was to stop, swim, cool off, and let our kids play in the water. While we watched numerous other boaters anchored and enjoying the lake, we were unable to do the same because our boat continually drifted. Had the anchor worked properly, our experience would have been much better. The customer service was great, but not being able to safely anchor significantly impacted our day and kept us from fully enjoying the rental. Had to send my truck the night before my appointment via tow truck as battery was dead from not being able to close the tailgate. Did not hear from any of the service people so I called at 1:00 pm and was told my vehicle was 4th in line with the service technician. Questioned why it was 4th in line when I made an appointment 7 days prior. Was told that by making an appointment it should have been explained that it could be 24-48 hours before my vehicle would be looked at. What the heck is that???? if you make an appointment 7 days out you would think it would get looked at the day of the appointment. I would recommend that if you make a service appointment, better find out how long they are going to need your vehicle. Pretty bad service and I would recommend going into Surprise to get any work done, at least they look at the vehicle the day of the appointment

I feel obligated to share my experience so others can stay away from this business…read more I found myself in an emergency situation after a tire blowout and needed immediate help to get home safely. Unfortunately, what followed was an extremely expensive experience that I was not fully prepared for. I paid $315 out the door for one replacement tire on my car not a truck... a car, along with several added charges that were either not clearly explained or disclosed beforehand. These included a $120 weekend service call, a $14 credit card fee, and a $6 tire disposal fee (despite the old tire being placed back into my vehicle). In a stressful situation, customers rely on businesses to be transparent about pricing, and I did not feel that transparency was provided. I understand emergency services can cost more, but the total price felt excessive, especially given the circumstances. Had I known the full cost upfront, I would have taken the time to look for other open tire shops. My advice to others: if possible, call around, ask for a complete price breakdown before agreeing to service, and explore all options first. I hope sharing this experience helps someone avoid the same frustration and being ripped off the way that I have. UPDATE: Yes we appreciate you coming out and helping. We were in a difficult situation and needed assistance. That part isn't lost on me. That said, your response comes across as dismissive and condescending, which is just as concerning as the original issue. Customers should be able to share feedback without being talked down to. To be clear, my concern was never that after-hours service costs more. I understand that. The issue was the lack of clear, upfront communication about pricing BEFORE the work was done. There's an opportunity here to take that feedback constructively and improve how pricing and expectations are communicated to customers in STRESSFUL situations. At this point, the matter is closed and won't be engaging further. I hope this feedback is taken in the spirit it was intended. It important to inform others of what happened so that they can make their own decisions. Just learn from this and move on. Thats all any of us can do.

After paying, she directed us to follow the blue arrows to the shuttle pick-up area, which was very well-organized. We found the shuttle area, and within 10 minutes, we were on a golf cart ride to the marina, provided by a volunteer working for tips. The marina is quite small, featuring a general store, Dillons Bayou restaurant, kayak and boat rentals, and a thrilling waterslide that propels you into the air before splashing into the water. The general store had a mishmash of products, some of which made sense and others that did not. Surprisingly, there was a lack of interesting items. In a separate review, I gave Dillons Bayou 3 stars. The well-maintained area was a testament to the care it receives. We savored the picturesque sunset before heading home, illuminated by the enchanting full moon. For those seeking a memorable day or evening trip and lacking a boat of their own, a journey to Lake Pleasant via the 303 to exit 131 is a worthwhile adventure.
