It's at the intersection of Hwy 71 and Tucker Hill Road. There is a Shell right across Tucker Hill Road.

Ok, now that I write that down it doesn't seem that healthy, but the pickle was actually pretty appetizing, (not disgusting at all, as you might assume a pickle in a bag to be, 100% recommend the pickle) and the milk was just... good. There is a Buck-ee's down the road but it's a smaller one and it doesn't have Tesla charging, the CEFCO is just as good in my experience when it come to bathrooms. The next time I pass through Giddings I will be coming back. (Also, saw a rainbow after a pretty intense rainstorm on Feb. 14 while they were playing my favorite song, so nice experience there.)

The squeegees were viable and not out of water, which gave me a great opportunity to do some window washing while I fueled. It was late (after 5p) on a Sunday and with a lot of travelers, I found the trash bins overflowing as others have noted. I mean, it happens. People come by and clean out a trip's (or a year's) worth of trash here; not fair to them, but that's the deal you make when you serve the public. What I found interesting is that even though this is not a Top Tier fuel, my car actually seemed to run better on it. That was a "wow" moment, and it has added CEFCO to my list of brands to look for on road trips.

Lots of dining space on the main floor and even more off to the side. This place has a world class coffee bar, beer cave, and a decent wine selection, but the prices are obscenely high for wine. One thing I was impressed by was their kombucha and nitrogen coffee on tap along with an excellent tea selection. Right next-door is a deluxe car wash. The only things I did not spot were weenie rollers, an iced down beer trough and propane tanks. If you came here for gas, you'll be pleased with their high-quality detergent fuel and the fact that they offer both cash and credit pricing. I get my oil filters, spark plugs, wires, and other small engine accessory's. I also replace my own brake pads and rotors using Autozone. If I ever have a problem with the parts I have purchased, it has been hassle free to return them and get something else. They will let you use their code reader and other tools you if you don't have them. I do recommend Autozone.

This Giddings spot is tiny but mighty with a small deduction of the normal beaver fare, clean restrooms and drink stations, and a fair amount of pumps. However, they lack the quality I have come to expect. Specifically, the coffee station gained my ire this time. The last 2 times I have stopped here, the coffee was bad. Like Circle K bad. Burnt and tasteless. And they lack the space for the cold creamers to hide the flavor. The carafes are too low to fit a large cup under so you have to tilt them, risking hot coffee split across your hand. At least it isn't as hot as McD's.

It's a little tricky to get into depending on what direction you're coming from. Outside, you'll find eight pumps and an outside water and ice dispenser, but no propane tanks. Inside you'll find a fresh kitchen, and one of the newest inclusions you'll find is a hot and cold nitro coffee bar. They have a good selection of hot grab and go items along with the weenie rollers complete with the condiment bar. Lots of jerky to choose from and state-of-the-art coffee and drink stations. The only negative I could find, is that they do not sell top-tier gas. One other attraction, is the new McDonald's directly next-door in case you're interested. You'll find numerous cold doors of cold drinks , an ATM and the ever present weenie rollers, but no iced down trough of beer singles. They have an extensive menu on their fresh kitchen or you can just grab and go with one of their hot items. Lots of candy on display including a large display of jerky.
